I love the feel of downtown Osseo and Duffys fits in perfectly. Great service! Every server in there was our server. Excellent Bloody Mary at a great price too! Strong, flavorful, and spicy!! My husband and I ordered food and were not disappointed. The buffalo chicken sandwich was so tasty and juicy. I got beef cheese soup as my side and could have eaten a full bowl it was so yummy. The man got a turkey club sandwich and sweet potato fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside of the place was the smoking lounge was frequently used so the breeze was very cold and the smell of smoke lingered for a bit. We will most definitely be back!! read more

As part of our weekend ritual, my daughter and I had breakfast at Duffy's. This is really a bar, so the decor and atmosphere is all geared to the bar-head. No points lost there. The food was very genetic. We both had the biscuits and gravy and an order of over-easy eggs. The biscuits and gravy was pretty ordinary. Eggs and coffee were decent. Duffy's is your typical local hangout bar with bar food. Every time I have been here it has been super busy with locals. It is seat yourself if you can find a table. I would defnintnly not reccommend bring a large group here. We enjoy going to Duffy's is because they have cheap burgers and free popcorn. The burgers are simple, greasy and good. Nothing is homemade and ranch comes out of a packet. Our servers have always been nice and the food comes out super fast! read more

This little bar/restaurant is one of the very best things about Osseo. The food is ALWAYS amazing. Everything we've ever tried has been fantastic. Literally the only thing I would change is that they have a side patio for smokers and every time the door opens the entire place fills with smoke and for non smokers, that is nasty. read more

Burgers are really good and cooked medium which I prefer; they offer plenty of burger varieties. The hand battered onion rings are the perfect middle ground to beer battered (which are too thick and greasy for my taste) and a decent crumbly batter. The wings are also particularly good with a decent portion of meat. They were willing to a dry rub only -- the dry rub being a portion of their Duffy's wings that is its own hot sauce. Good food, less than good service. Our waitress looked annoyed that she had to wait on us. Then when our food came, she got our sides wrong and just "I guess I didn't catch that". No offer to make it right or do anything about it. Just a shoulder shrug. Then she never came back until we asked for the bill. So ... go for the food. Burgers were great!! read more

Love coming here for lunch! There are always great lunch specials and the food always comes out fast and hot. Servers and bartenders are always very nice. Weekday lunch: 4 stars for the service but I give 1 star for my sandwich. Put a 3 star rating to average it out. Ordered the corned beef on croissant, the "corned beef" was extremely salty, no flavor, just salt. Quality of the meat was not worth the price of a sandwich that comes with a handful of potato chips. Don't like being negative but just can't recommend THAT sandwich. Have been here other times and have had GREAT food and service. I recall fish and chips being very good. Very friendly atmosphere. Sorry duffys. Normally i love you, but you screwed my family and I tonight. We walked in (2 adults and 3 kids) at 8:20 pm. The bouncer came over to our table to tell us that no kids were allowed after 9. Thanks! Glad to be here. After a few minutes a male server came to our table and his greeting was "no kids after 9". Okay, we got it. Bring some damn menus and get to cooking. We're not here to party with our kids. We just wanna eat!! So the guy grabs our drinks and returns. "You ready to order?" He says with an eye roll. My wife begins telling him her order. He stops her short and says "let me grab something ro write on". Thanks buddy, can you make us feel like we're bothering you any more? Food came out. Wifes wrap was dripping with liquid. My burger was overcooked. My son wouldve liked a box for half of his sandwich. We never seen mr overweight skinny jeans bartender again. I end up bringing my kids empty glasses to the bar to get soda refills. Mr skinny jeans filled their glass. No recognition that your guest had to come to the bar to get refills. Then a server came by to drop the check and ask if we needed anything else. Yes please, my daughter could use a refill. 10 minutes later i realized that nobody was coming back to give us refills or anything. So i brought my check to the bar. I told the server to forget about the refill for my kid. Mr skinny jeans ran my card, and i told him his service sucks. Too bad. I couldve overlooked the sub par food. But from the moment we walked in the bar your staff made it clear that we were not wanted or appreciated. That i got no time for. A lot can be forgiven in the bar bisiness. But there is no room for bad attitudes. Screw you mr skinny jeans, you should go sell cars because you suck at service. And buy some new pants, you look like shit in those. read more

Poor poor service. Showed up on a Monday night - busy, but a few open tables. Placed an order for food and never warned about the wait - took 45 minutes for a steak sandwich and pizza. NO contact from our server during the meal or the wait. Had to ask for the tab and wait 10 more minutes before it was brought over by our MIA server. Food wasn't great, edible, but not great. For the prices charged one would expect decent service and pretty darn good food. Not the case. Very disappointed. read more

A nice blue-collar local bar and grill located on Osseo's Main Street. It feels like it is hundreds of miles away from Maple Grove, which is a good thing as you won't have to deal with soccer moms and their dejected-faced kids staring at their iPhones. The menu consists of typical bar fare and they have some pretty decent prices which are even better if you catch a happy hour. It has a knotty pine/Nascar/sports thing going which lets you know that this is the place to go for some straight forward eating and drinking. read more

I've only been to Duffy's twice so far, but it's quickly becoming one of my favorite bars in the area. The mozzarella sticks and chicken wings are done right. Both are a must. Plus any bar that opens at 8am everyday and has two pull tab stands is my place. read more

Great food, great drinks. Certain bartenders think they have "superior taste" in music. Your songs will be skipped if you play the jukebox and they aren't what they want to hear. From out of town but a Mpls native...went to Duffy's with local friends and was sorely disappointed with both the service and the attitudes of all save the bartender. Last call drinks took 20 minutes to come back to the table 20 feet away from the bar - server loaded up the entire bar's orders into one, giving the bartender all at once - and he didn't even get the order right. Left us 10 minutes to drink before the staff began rudely talking back to us, yelling, and pushing us out the door. On the plus side, they did ask us if we wanted a cab, on the negative, as we were being kicked out and told we needed to wait out in the cold, two others were sitting at the video gaming system and allowed to stay, apparently due to "working there". They didn't work tonight; in fact they were obviously a few drinks in after having come from a wedding and had no problem hollering at us they were "fine - we work here". Our server had the nerve to say, "it's not my problem", the other staff, "get the F--k OUT" and "too bad it's cold, not my concern. Get out." Nice to watch others warm inside, playing video games & not working, as we sit outside waiting for a cab that would eventually come and not care who he took first. Bottom line - if you go to Duffy's, plan on going to the bar to order your own drinks, call your own cab and jump in it before someone else does, and be ready to to know you, your money, comfort and patronage don't matter to them! read more

I tried this place a few weeks ago and remember thinking the food was ok. I was in Osseo, wanted a burger, so I thought I'd go back and give it another try. I walked in and having sat at the bar the last time I couldn't remember if you seat yourself or they seat you. Standing there looking for a sign of sorts a waiter walked by, saw me but completely ignored me. Same guy did this three times. Another guy ( heavy set older man ) walked towards me. He too was going to also ignore me and walk away. I caught him as he passed and asked "Do we seat ourselves or.." this guy cut me off (didn't even look at me and kept walking) and said. "If you find a seat go ahead". Now, had the guy even looked at me I wouldn't have thought anything of it but when he said it he completely seemed irritated that either I was there or he hated his job. Maybe both. I turned straight around and left. Too bad... I guess you have to be a local for the people at Duffy's to treat you with basic common courtesy. Maybe if their star rating drops and they start missing having money in their register, they'll reconsider their attitude when customers are trying to eat there. read more

Terrible place full of trashy people food was OK, but the manager was terrible. Poor beer lines with old cloudy beer mugs. Ice tasted a bit funky, mentioned it to a older manager with dark hair and glasses and she did not give a care pretty much just walked away disgusted; extremely rude. If the pizza wasn't good it might have been the worst dive bar I've ever been to. I do not recommend. read more

Food is really good and servers are awesome. Beware of 1 or 2 bartenders that take your drink and dump it if you go to the bathroom or play pulltabs. If I go back it will be at a table instead of the bartending on Mondays at 5ish. read more
