Huge sports bar. Dozens of TVs with every possible sport in. Super loud inside. We came on trivia night and the announcer was kinda piercingly loud. Cool if that's what you are into but for dining, come with your mates. Service was good. Quick and efficient l. Checked in us a few times and it was busy. Food was ok. The food is always just OK. We continue to return because sometimes my husband's in the mood for a burger. I always get the Jack Daniels chicken wings but it's very hit or miss sometimes it's great sometimes not so much, sometimes they give you fresh crunchy celery, and carrots other times it's floppy and disappointing. It's very noisy inside and sometimes we get in but for the most part I prefer to eat at home . Pick up can be a little tricky sometimes. Quickly becoming my go to Duffy's location because of the staff and the service. Traditional wings with blue cheese dip for my date and large salad and baskets of fries for Yours truly. We went for trivia on Thursday night .. we were 2 couples..for appetizers we ordered fried pickles, fried mozzarella ..the mozzarella's were good, the pickle chips were good if you can taste the pickles, they were not that great but they were good as fried chips....for our main courses my friend and I had the tuna tataki which was really good and fresh.. one of the guys had ribs that were really good and the other had chicken wings that were very tasty.. Trivia starts at 6:30 we were seated in the main dining room and trivia was at the bar, we really couldn't hear very well because the place was very crowded and noisy.. we did come in third place!! We went again this past Thursday and sat by the bar, boy what a difference in the sound.. great nights had by all, We even came in first place this time!!! read more

Stopped for a quick lunch on Sunday at 1 pm. Place was not busy. I ordered chicken salad. Minus croutons, shaved egg ( I asked for a whole egg instead, he said they cannot do it), no bacon. Every thing is chopped fine, loaded with red onions, had to remove some. They have a lemon dressing which is refreshing. Left not feeling full & satisfied. It is with great gratitude that I'm writing this review for Duffy's Sports Grill Restaurant in Delray Beach! I was looking for a restaurant that has a private room to celebrate my daughter's graduation. All the places that I found were so expensive, until my friend from work told me about Duffy's on the 1750 S Florida Highway in Delray. She said that she was in an event there during the summer. I called right away. Steve Murray, the manager, was so nice to me where I couldn't believe that kind of kindness existed in this world that we are living in. To make the story short, I went on to have the dinner at Duffy's on December 19, that's when Steve introduced Jack and Ethan to me as the ones who's going to help me. They were really amazing. I forgot to mention, they even helped me decorate the room. Also, the food and the service were good. I had the celebration for my daughter with 26 friends and family members. Everyone enjoyed the night with great comments where some of them said they will do something like that when they have a celebration. By the way, one of my friends called me last night to give her the contact number of Duffy's. She's going to have a little celebration for her husband's birthday in two weeks. I think that's a great idea. If someone has a small celebration, instead of renting a place with all the expenses for decorations in foods, go to Duffy's Sports Grill in Delray and they will be happy they did! I thank God for the privilege to find Duffy's. Thanks also to Steve for all the kindness and the opportunity to celebrate my daughter. This wasn't a bad place but I sure expected more. Having worked in the bar and night club industry for many years, I found no personal interaction between the servers and customers. The bartender kept busy moving glasses around but barely said anything to any customers. This is unusual and not conducive to customer satisfaction and any expectation of tips. There was plenty of conversation with other servers both on and off the clock but as a bartender your attention should be on your customers. I ordered blackened Mahi Mahi, rice and beans with broccoli. The broccoli was fine, the rice and beans weren't very tasty and the Blackened Mahi wasn't blackened. read more

I stopped in for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how good both the food and service were. I am not a fan of this chain, but after todays experience, I think I could be. I went in knowing I wanted a burger- a big juicy burger cooked medium. It was cooked perfectly and I was happy. I ordered the cheeseburger (without the bun) with grilled onions; with an upgraded side of onion rings. Excellent burger and the onion rings were not greasy and they were nice and crispy, just the way I like them. The bartender who took care of me was attentive and friendly. He checked in with me a few times even though he was busy. Great service in the bar area, which is where I prefer to sit when dining alone. I truly am shocked that I had a delicious lunch with awesome service. This was a first for me- in any Duffy's. I am looking forward to trying different items on future visits. Looking for great food at a reasonable price? Duffys is the place to be. My favorite is the 2 for one drinks (alcohol) . My favorite starters are the fried mushrooms and the fried calamari. The staff there is pretty cool, they're normally pretty young and vibrant. Went here tonight....not only did they not offer the $10 for 10 wings Wednesday special (bill came out with wings at full price and had to be adjusted) but the manager (bozo in glasses with salt and pepper hair) didn't do his job of working at a sports bar to have game 5 of the WORLD SERIES on the tv and we ended up missing back to back lead off to Home Runs by the blue jays to start the game (only time ever that back to back HRs in World Series history). The manager came over and said, 'heard you guys want to put a game on'...yeah you schmuck...the World Series....so I tell him I feel that it's pretty amateur to be a sports bar and not pay attention to have the World Series on. He patronized me and sarcastically said he's so sorry and how could he have made that mistake instead of admitting he messed up. He also made up some BS about how he was having issues with the TV even though all of the tvs were working fine, and when he came over with the remote he easily was able to put the World Series game on. Needless to say, what an amateur, the wings weren't even great, and the staff is just absolutely clueless. Won't be coming back here again. read more

Local sports bar hit the spot! We were immediately seated on Fourth of July. Restaurant has football helmets all around as decoration. We were happy to see both a UM and a UF helmet. Our server Kent was great. Very attentive! He made sure to visit our table often and make sure we had everything we needed all while serving various tables. I must say, this used to be one of our go to places but the last few times we went, the food didn't taste fresh. The beer was on the warm side and flat. The fries were so greasy and looked triple fried. We asked for a fresh basket and they brought us more greasy fries. The only way you get decent service is if you sit at the bar. Table service is awful. I think it'll be a long while before we (if ever) go there again. :( read more

We arrived about noon. We asked for a high chair for our toddler. They sat us somewhere the high chair wouldn't even reach the table and left. We waited a few minutes and called them back and asked if we could sit somewhere that the chair could reach the table, which he agreed to. Then he took our drink orders and we asked for a side of fries to come right away, so the kids don't meltdown while we were waiting for entrees. Then he came back and dropped off 3 of the 4 adult waters, but forgot to bring water for the kids-- we gave him our food orders here. Someone else came and dropped off a 2 for 1 margarita. 45 minutes later, we still only got served our drinks, still nothing for the kids. We flagged someone down 3x to check on the fries at least! A full hour after we sat down, we got served all of our food at once- which defeats the purpose of ordering a side of fries early. Honestly, I have been going to Duffy's for years. And I don't think I've ever had such terrible service before. I can understand that it is a busy time, but two entire parties that came after us got served their food before us. Finally when the food actually came out, it was cold... so, I just don't understand what happened here. We never even got served our second margarita, even after asking for it multiple times. It was such a terrible experience, we just paid and left because it wasn't worth waiting any longer. What's most upsetting is watching the servers walk past the kids that are losing it and still have no urgency to just bring out the side of fries! Considering the entire experience, I can hardly give this review anything more than one star. read more

We decided to give it another try. We came in and ordered shrimp cobb salad, spicy chicken with salad, chili and rice and beans . Our waiter was good and we were happy with the food. Only thing is I hate when the server says "Oh, you must have really liked it. No food goes wasted at your home." I know he didn't mean anything by it but I just hate when they comment on how much we have eaten or not. It is local to our house and easy to get to. They also were doing trivia night. We stopped in here since it was close to our condo. The hostess was anything but inviting. We were seated and the waitress came over to get our drink order. We then placed our order; shrimp cocktail, nachos, lastly fish and chips. The shrimp was brown and horribly dry. I have no idea how someone could look at that and let it leave the kitchen. We swapped it out with mozzarella sticks and those were much better. My fish had so much coating on it it's all I was able to taste. There was so much grease it just pooled at the bottom. My husband said his nachos were good. I would say to stay far away from anything seafood here. read more
