Was thrilled when I found out Dukes was coming to Brandon. Their Plant City location has always been fantastic. Service was good even though they were quite busy. Mel helped us and she was great! We ordered a nacho appetizer, 2 kid meals, a black and blue burger, and a ton of wings. I also tried their Spiked Strawberry Lemonade. Food was great! One of the best burgers I've ever had. My husband said the wings weren't spicy enough but they were still good. They have a large outdoor deck that's screened in, live music, a arcade games. Will be back for more. read more

Seated quickly & the staff is friendly. Duke's strikes us as part honky-tonk (cow-girl outfitted waitresses) & sports bar (lots of tvs available to watch the game... whichever game that may be). But be warned this does contribute to the elevated noise levels, even when crowds are low. There is outdoor seating we haven't tried due to the summer heat. So, I showed her that the plate below them was completely clean. No drip like the others. She wasnt impressed. This is a very generous 3stars - I get it, they are new and the staff are still untrained / the bad ones not cut yet BUT they should not put that experience on the patron. Food was incorrect and took forever to arrive, beer service was basically order as soon as first arrives and it may make it there 10 mins after you finished that one...maybe... 7 drunk men sitting at bar when we arrived. Cursing and yelling, being rude and obnoxious. Mentioned to our server to ask them to stop yelling and she said they've been there all morning drinking. So they kept giving them alcohol while we were there and eventually they all would get in their cars and drive drunk. Then the people sitting on other side of our table let their small child stand on their table and practically climb over Wall partition to get to our table. Mentioned to server and she still did nothing even after seeing it for herself. Walked in and sat at a table, waited 10 min before asking someone to find our server.Our server passed us 6 times before saying " I'll be right with you". Waited a total of 28 min before we moved to the bar. Waited another 7 min and finally asked to be served. At that point we were done. Walked out will never go there again. Rude people and shitty service. Walked to OBrien's and sat at the bar. Had a cold drink in our hands within 30 seconds even though the bar is 3x the size as Dukes and had 3x the amount of people in the bar. Lesson learned read more

We came for dinner and ordered a mushroom burger all the way. The waitress asked me how I wanted it cooked and I told her medium and she said she would try whatever that meant. My wife ordered wings (20) of them. Onion rings also. The food took like 25 minutes to come out and my burger was well done and very hard. Didn't come with pickles had to ask for them again. Wife said the wings were over cooked and she ate the onion rings and asked for a box for the wings. Our experience here tonight was less than satisfactory and I doubt we will be going back anytime soon. Oh and there was about 25 people in there drinking and watching the race and nobody was wearing masks or practicing social distancing . Sure hope everybody turns out ok. There server was attentive and the manager did knock 5 bucks off our dinner which I just gave back to the server anyhow. Went last night and had some delicious chicken quesadillas and loaded fries. Friends got wings and they were good size and tasty. They could have used a little more flavoring. Seems like they get skimpy on sauces and seasoning. Look forward to going back and trying something else. Definitely recommend loaded fries, quesadillas and wings. If you do takeout on wings make sure you check them before you leave so they are seasoned enough. Waitress was very sweet but clueless on what beers are available for pitchers and didnt even know for sure how many ounces were in pitchers and the tower! Need a little more training. We walked into a fairly busy restaurant and we were seated in less than 2 minutes. The wait staff was helpful and pleasant. The place was clean with enough TV's for sports. As with other reviews I've read, the sauce for the wings need balance when poured over the wings. One portion had more than enough, another had enough and my last sauce choice was barely enough. The sauces had very good flavor, but the Kitchen needs training on proper sauce distribution. The cheese fries we ordered were far from fresh. The cheese had hardened by the time it was served. The country blue jean theme of the wait staff was nice and our sever kept us up to date on our food order. This was our first time to a Dukes restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted and seated quickly. Our servers Chassidy and Alicia were attentive and helpful with making suggestions in the menu. So we had several kinds of wings and apps to get a feel for the food. All of us agreed on liking the sweet Memphis sauce the best, but the Dukes style were really good too. Liked the pretzels, but were so-so on the loaded cheese fries. The owner was circulating and greeted us at our table and chatted for a few minutes. That was a nice touch and shows he cares about his customers. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again. Most likely as regulars!!! read more

First time checking this place out. Minimal wait to be sat but once seated we were ignored. Waitress finally comes by and takes drink orders. Ordered a sampler platter as well for $16.99. Took nearly 25 minutes to bring out 3 tiny potato skins 3 mozzarella sticks 3 poppers and 2 southwest egg rolls cut in half. It was very underwhelming. You could certainly taste the frozen in all of the items. If this is how this place is going to operate it will soon see the same ending as the 4 previous restaurants to occupy this exact location.
