I hired Joshua to fix a refrigerator at our rental property in Houston that I manage. As with most other repair companies, the diagnostics charge was able to be applied to the total repair. Joshua was able to get out to the rental property promptly. He came during our scheduled window and was able to diagnose the issue and give me an estimate on what the repair would cost. Before calling me, he called around to local parts places and was able to find the part we needed. When we spoke, he said he could come back that same evening to finish the job as our tenant was busy over the next week. Since the property was not my own, I had to clear charges with the owner before proceeding, but the owner did not approve because his home warranty company's co-pay rate was lower than what the repair would have cost. Unfortunately, I had to call Josh back and let him know. Although he was pretty upset, and understandably so, he returned to the rental property to put the fridge back in "working" order and was kind to put tenant. Prior to cancelling the repair, I found their price very fair and the speed of service above par (I have worked with several repair people in the past on my own house and I have never had anyone successfully get a part in the same day), so I can only speak on diagnosis, speed of service, and communication.
