Ask for Tracy!!! She is incredible. She's sweet and funny all while being very meticulous and careful in making sure that you leave happy. Outside of creating what you want on your nails, she also understands the health of your nails, so listen to her when she advises you on how to take care of them. One time I had an infection because I cut my hangnail incorrectly and she was able to get in there and clean up the mess I made. It took two sessions, but now, instead of having a nail that refused to grow straight, I'm feel confident enough to wear sandals. I've also had Kelly, who is also a great artist. These are the only two women I trust at Duke's to do my gel manicures and eyebrows. Kelly always makes sure my eyebrows stay full and shaped. It's been a year since the last time I went to dukes but this is the only place where I haven't noticed any lifting with the acrylics. And the biggest perk is that they use clean tools. They make the extra effort to keep their salon clean. They even had white seashell acrylic this time which is what I wanted last year but they didn't have. I have came here a couple times for pedicures and eyebrows with my daughter and all has been ok until this last time. They waxed so close to my daughters eye, two days later, she still is bright red! My first time having them do my finger nails and they look like crap! Not one nail is evenly covered with top coat, bubbles are everywhere and, they are already chipping! Never again will I come to dukes! Now I have to find someone to fix my nails today! Update: my daughters skin started scabbing and peeling where they waxed took low. This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I walk in and everyone is super nice, so I thought nothing negative until the man started doing my nails. First of all they were all different shapes, the sides weren't smooth they were literally rough as if I was doing construction in my nails, and when he painted them he was smudging the nail polish and didn't even bother to fix it until I said I didn't wanna leave with these nails. Came in after a bad experience from another salon. I gave a 2 star because they did fix my nail design on my big toes and it was pretty decent. What I was not impressed with, was the manicure I received. Like someone mentioned already, they put my hand on a dirty old pillow with a dingy old towel on top. Definitely didn't look very clean. The tech started cutting back my cuticles and after leaving, I noticed they were very sore. After inspection, I had been cut several times. Now the nail design. At first it seemed like it was ok. But after leaving and actually taking pictures and inspecting. No. Just no. The lines were uneven and there were different blues used. Didn't look professional whatsoever when I got home. So after 2 bum deals with these salons. I am left with no polish for 4th of July, and I am out 80 bucks. Very disappointed with what Beaumont has to offer. read more

This is my normal nail salon that i choose to come to. Kevin and Duke and Linda do a wonderful job. A few times that i have come I have had to wait an absurd amount of time and one of the times i waited about an hour and then they kept moving me from one nail tech to another about 3 times. that was a little irritating. the reason i am leaving two stars is because the last time i came in ( not even a week and a half ago) i got gel. and from the moment i walked out of that salon it was lifting. i didn't realize how bad it was until a few days later EVERY SINGLE NAIL had polish lifting off. I believe Vivian was the woman that did my nails. Although she was very kind, she did not do a good job on my nails. she just seemed a little careless when applying the polish and it got on my skin which caused the lifting. I'll attach a picture of what they look like today, not even a week and a half later. the one pointer finger i put glitter on it to avoid it chipping. read more

Was a regular customer for years but got tired of the hit n miss service, you'll get good service if they're not busy but they'll totally ignore your existence if they have enough customers, sat there for 15 minutes and no one even greeted me or asked me what I needed done. This is my go-to place in Beaumont. There are a good selection of gel and regular polish. The services are average in price and quality. Kelly is the best when it comes to my nails. All of the technicians are very nice, although it can get pretty loud in there with the chatter. I seem to wait longer when I make an appointment versus a walk-in, so I usually just walk in early afternoon during the week. Good place for a quick fix. read more

Literally the most unpleasant and unprofessional nail salon I have ever been to. To sum it up I ended up paying almost $50 for a gel full set and walked out with unfinished acrylics. What I asked for and what I got was no where near similar. I had them remove the gel bc I didn't like the end result and they tried to charge me an additional $20 for a "polish change". So I said no. Not only that but the nail tech Kelly cut me and when I asked her if she could put something on it (to avoid infection) she said she'd get to it when we were done (never did anything, I was hoping she'd at least seal it with crazy glue or something) however she continued to file and cut etc so I asked if I could wash my hands because I really didn't want it to get infected and she told me I couldn't because if I washed my hands the gel polish wouldn't stay???? I was so over it I payed and left. The next day my cut still hurt, I had to paint them myself and to make matters worse when I lined up my finger cuticles next to each other some of the nails were longer than the others. So I went back and wanted a refund and Kelly started yelling at me and accusing me of being a liar and blaming me saying I did something to them at home to ruin them. I did not feel comfortable with them fixing it I just wanted a refund so I could get them fixed elsewhere. After getting yelled at they told me they'd give me a refund but never wanted to see me there again. Not that I even planned going back after such a horrible experience. Oh and they chopped off my nails or else i wouldn't get my money back. I've worked customer service I know how it can be and never is it acceptable to treat customers that way especially when they are paying to get a service. read more

okay I'm definitely not one to complain but as someone who has been very loyal and consistent with this nail salon I'm very unhappy. I got acrylics less than a week ago and she did them very thin resulting in a nail breaking off. Today i went in to get it fixed and was told it was a 4 hour wait to get one nail fixed (which takes about 5 minutes) after standing there for about 3-4 minutes the same girl (Kelly) was able to fix my nail. After getting it fixed she said it would be $5 for the cost of fixing it... i have been to many HIGH end nail salons and not once has anyone ever charged me to fix a nail. Besides the fact they charged me an additional $5 on top of a $40 they weren't very helpful and quite rude when i asked for it to be fixed. read more

They all go beyond the call of duty to make sure that you are happy with not only your nails but with a unique design that they think would please you. I've gone to this place a few times and the only reason I come back is because of the reasonable price but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for". Don't get me wrong the people are really friendly but the quality is not there. So I got my nails done by John Wayne and I just got the feeling like he had other things on his mind. If you go there he is either singing or talking on the phone and his mind is not focused on your nails. It resulted in my nails not being even lengths, the gel sticking to the side of the fingers just not good quality work overall. I returned again but this time to get a pedicure in preparation for a vacation I was going on and I believe Vivian was the one that did my pedicure (that's what another customer called her). Very friendly don't get me wrong but she cut one of my toes on my left foot and cut too deep on the side of my big toe on my right foot. I did mention to her that I felt like she cut me but I felt like she just brushed me off or maybe she really just didn't understand what I said. At first, it just started feeling sore and tender if you squeeze the toe but it ended up getting infected and I am now having part of my toe removed by my doctors office. Would not recommend this place. Just like any other place I'm sure they have one or 2 workers that do a great job but not the individuals I particularly went to. Beware! read more

This is my second visit to Duke's and, once again, I was not impressed. I tried them again because they are close to my workplace but never again. I am used to squared nails. I now have mostly squared, one rounded and one crooked nail. I'm so disappointed that I didn't notice this before I left! One finger nail was crooked (part of it broke) and I assumed that it would be fixed. The place seems dirty. The towel placed in front of me to put my hands on was the most tattered towel I have ever seen. The people are friendly but pretty loud and hyper. One girl in particular was singing, laughing and just being extremely loud. I totally appreciate friendliness but I also don't want to be annoyed when I'm trying to relax. I've experienced much better service at Queen and Sky Blue, both in Beaumont also. read more
