    Boom Boom Wings

This place really is a vibe for brunch. It is self searing so that's something to keep in mind when visiting. The ambiance is sports bar/restaurant vibes. Mostly high tables, a few booths and a nice patio. The staff was really cool and kept the bottomless mimosas coming with no problem. They interacted and danced with guests like they've known them forever which is always good in my book. The food was pretty good for the most part. The wing sauce was amazing and they were cooked to perfection however they were not seasoned at all so without the sauce, I wouldn't like them. The burgers were good just a tad too charred in the bottom however the flavor was there. I take nothing away from this amazing place and I'll definitely be back!

When I tell yall I love this place. I love it! I love the New Orleans style food and normally that's what I get but this time I tried a burger. The strawberry lemon drop was good but kind of bitter . If you like that you'd definitely love it. The wings were delicious and cooked to perfection not too spicy and not too sweet. It was the perfect blend of flavor. The burger was seasoned to a tea and so flavorful and the fries were seasoned too! You really didn't need anything ‍. The pizza was good and extra cheesy . The service is always on point and they're always attentive to you. It's a chill spot. There's always music playing and a nice crowd. You don't really have to worry about any riff raff there. I would definitely recommend this place! If you like gumbo try it!!! It reminds me of New Orleans no exaggeration!!!

Came to eat and catch the shuttle to the Blues game. Due to a shift change with the wait staff we waited about 15 mins for a server and then just decided to order at the bar. Food came just in time to eat and catch the 2nd shuttle. I ordered the 10 inch veggie pizza and my boyfriend got a burger and fries. My pizza was great. I burnt my mouth eating it too quickly! The pizza is classic St. Louis style thin crust with provel. I tried some fries, they were okay. They needed ketchup. Sports bar atmosphere. Most people there were catching the shuttle to the game. The shuttle was great. I'd definitely come back to eat before a game and use the shuttle service.

Crowded sports bar and by chance, I arrived here about two hours before a Blues game. The Saint Louis Blues play hockey. The place was packed with the bartenders running around filling drink orders. Not a lot of food coming out of the kitchen but the drinks were definitely flowing. There was a very friendly vibe and I had an ice cold pilsner from Logboat. Relatively local, as far as I knew. Good luck with parking. This is a residential neighborhood and you're going to be challenged to find a legal spot. [Review 17238 overall - 144 in Missouri - 755 of 2022.]

Dukes + Saturday = keep the good times rolling! After a long pool day we were ready to EAT! We headed over to Duke's and we'll I'll be honest I've visited this local water hole many times for cocktails but never eaten, let's get into it... I ordered the shrimp po' boy and it came out fresh, well seasoned and YUMMY! Trick of the trade, you can also get the boom boom shrimp on a hoagie bun, built like a po' boy, go ahead you know you want to! The mac and cheese is oh so cheesy and everything us little carb cheese loving peeps desire so go ahead and go for it. My fiancé got the French his although fresh I wish the au jus had a little more flavor as well as the roast beef but it's okay. The service and bartenders are super nice! Definitely stop, the food was great!

Great food! The boom boom shrimp is so tasty and not very breaded. The boneless wings are also super good. I love that it's primarily the protein instead of all breading. This is such a great stop prior to games too as it includes a shuttle! If you're looking for a low key bar with good food and good drinks, this is it! The ambiance is very casual and welcoming. John, who drives the shuttle, is phenomenal! Very personable! Highly recommend for a casual day or night?

This is a place to come for a drink and watch the game. There's so many parts to this bar, but my favorite spot is the back outdoor area. It has its own outdoor bar and you have TV's all around to watch all the games going on. I want to come back and have lunch here because their menu looked amazing!

I've caught the shuttle from blues and cardinals games in the past, but stayed for dinner this time. The main floor bar was packed and loud, but their upstairs was open and we enjoyed that so much more. Got a table, quick service at the bar, and great tasting food! My shrimp and crawfish po boy was delicious!

Chicken Philly. Tender and succulent AF.

Cool place to watch a game. It has multiple levels. Good prices. The bartenders did a great job. There were some hot chicks here too. :)

It was decorated all out for the Olympics and they have several comfy couch areas which were perfect for us with our toddler who does not want to sit still... We spent a few hours here and had some appetizers and drinks. We had the pub pretzel, pickle chips, fried cheese and soup. All were out quickly and very good. The pretzel was SO good! Served with mustard and warm cheese for dipping and it's huge. Service was friendly and fast. Bathrooms are spacious and new and clean with a nice large stall for baby changing. It wasn't crowded in the middle of a day on Friday so, pleasant to watch the game with a small group. I'm sure it can get really busy and rowdy during sports events downtown. All in all, new and comfy and a place I can see us coming often.

My coworkers, who also ran, insisted on meeting up here. They didn't really run, they walked. I can't walk a 5K, because pull your head out of your ass. I could have ordered something light, but I figured I'd go in, since I won't be returning. I don't have the means or the interest to catch a soccer game at the nearby stadium, and even if I did, I heard they've got good food vendors. What do I need with this place? Depending on how much they want for beer across the street, it might make sense to pregame here, especially if they're pulling the same BS they pull at Riverport where the police roam the parking lot and try to prevent you from drinking in your car, as one does. My little brother's running group had a function here after a marathon I ran a few weeks ago. Free food and drinks. I'm not even a member of that group, but I was dressed in running attire and wearing a medal. You best believe I got my drink on. Did it aid in my recovery? No. No, it did not. I got the sense that they had busboys and randos from off the street running orders and that this place might not be fully staffed except for on game day. That was also the case yesterday evening. The guy waiting our table obviously didn't know what he was doing, but he seemed chill and ultimately got the job done. Hopefully my boss left him a tip. The menu consists of standard sports bar fare, including two sandwiches that purport to feature meat from the Carnegie Deli. I found this highly improbable, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to join the ranks of Bowzer from Sha Na Na and Arthur Fonzarelli. This may have been my one opportunity in life. You can get either a basic pastrami on rye, for purists, or people with certain dietary restrictions, or the Reuben. I of course went with the latter. I found it surprisingly neat, without too much sauerkraut, thousand island dressing and what have you, to where it gets all sloppy. The slices of meat were uniform to the point where I was concerned, but damn it if it wasn't moist and flavorful. Nullus. It's pastrami, so it's supposed to be processed anyway. It comes with your choice of fries, chips or some sort of salad. For chips, you can get Red Hot Riplets, which is nice for tourists. It'll save them from having to go to a Schnucks. We should all be lucky. I went with the fries, for the sake of citizen food journalism. Surprisingly, these were shoestring fries, not unlike at a Steak 'n Shake. You don't see that as often these days. Were they great? No. But it was still kinda neat that they had them. Really, you're just going here because it's either across the street from the soccer stadium or (I think) built into Union Station. In that sense, it's almost like they're doing you a favor by offering food that's not half bad. What else are you going to do, try to go drink in your car?

Instead, my colleague and I decided to grab lunch at the Brewhouse Historical Sports bar inside the Hyatt. The Brewhouse Historical Sports bar had plenty of table seating, booth seating, and a large bartop. The restaurant celebrates St. Louis sport's history. It has a ton of TVs inside the restaurant which allows for different sports to be played on a variety of TVs. This restaurant has 60-70 locally produced brews. Some of these brews are lagers to regional microbrew favorites. If you're unsure what to pick out, you can even get a flight of local selections! The food offered during the lunch was relatively limited. The menu had burgers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and a few different sides. The service was fantastic here though! The team member that was assisting our table brought out waters and the menu to our table. Looking over the menu, my colleague ordered the Southwest Grain Bowl. I wasn't too hungry, and ended up ordering a plain cheeseburger with a fruit cup, as well as a side of their white cheddar Mac n Cheese! The service was great and fast! We had entered the restaurant around 12:15. We ended up getting our meal around 12:35 after seating and placing our order. My cheeseburger was good. The fruit was some sliced melon, pineapple and a few other fruit selection. My favorite was the mac n cheese though. There was so much cheese and it was quite flavorful! My colleague enjoyed his Southwest Grain Bowl. The food was great here and the service was outstanding! I'm not sure when the next time I'll be back to St. Louis, but if I'm looking for another Sports bar in the area, I'd stop back here again!
