Came here for the free bingo on Mondays, which was super fun. It was a good mix of younger and older people. They call the numbers quickly, which I appreciated. They offer pretty nice prizes, as well. There is no cost to play. I had the fish and chips which was just ok. The fish was way overdone. Everyone else in my party seemed to enjoy their food. It's OK for a county bar. The front is set up with low cafeteria style tables and the back has all high tops. There is another game room in the way back that has low tops and a ton of different games. A friend ordered a salad with Buffalo chicken that looked amazing and was gigantic. There was extremely limited parking and we had to park across Gravois which wasn't fun. The acoustics made the place extremely loud and it was hard to have a conversation without yelling and that was on a Saturday afternoon. I wondered why one of the ladies behind the bar looked so miserable only to find out later that it was the owner, lol. Came here to celebrate a special occasion with a group of friends on a Thursday night. We had a great time in one of the little rooms they have off to the side, which was nice to feel like we had a little bit of privacy to our group. The waitress was on top of our drinks and food orders, serving us in every way she could and visiting us often. The food wasn't the best I'd ever had but it was satisfying and comforting- my companion and I got their deluxe pizza. I was however surprised by how good their margaritas were. met some friends there last night for our initial introduction. Friday night so expected some craziness no matter where you ended up. Food was good. Started out with shared order of wings which we each thought were very good with the right amount of heat. Four of us each got something different and we all reported positive reactions to three sandwiches and one entree. Service was good but a bit slow. Based on crowd size not bad. Server friendly and helpful. Had to ask for new fries as the ones served as the side were cold. Server returned with three baskets of piping hot fries that were excellent. Checked in to see if we needed anything else. Being Friday we went early because there was live music to be played three hours later. However it was all about the band as they were setting up and doing sound checks. Incredibly loud drums, horns, guitars as they tuned up and checked microphones. Once they started with the racket (not music) there was limited ability to converse. We purposely arrived early to visit with friends not there for music so that was disappointing. Atmosphere was large area with many TVs typical for a sports bar. Clean no frills. Wide range of customers from families with kids to seniors. I've seen the "Owner" of this "establishment" put her hands on numerous customers threatening them and helping her kitchen staff escort them out because she says it's a family establishment but doesn't provide changing tabled in the restroom. So instead of changing their kids diapers in the car they do it right there in the BAR in front of everyone while they're eating and when a number of customers complained they were asked to leave. We hosted a work event at your establishment, and I have to say your staff is out of this world incredible. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. Here's the scenario: I walk into The Clubhouse for the first time in my life. My girlfriend walks in behind me and goes into the bathroom with one of her two friends. Her 2nd friend sits at a table for us all to go to in a few minutes. I walk up to the bar. I order a bottle of beer. The bartender (a shorter woman in her 50s-60s) asks me where I'll be sitting. I point to the table that my girlfriend's friend is sitting at. The bartender looks at me and says "I was told not to serve them." I said "I'm sorry.. What?" she repeated herself. Again, I've never been to this establishment in my life. I ask her out loud "sooo.. Are they (we) banned?". The bartender shrugs her head and cannot give a straight answer. I shook it off and walked outside. I waited a few minutes. I come back inside and another older lady with darker hair is trying to shuffle my girlfriend and her friends out of the women's bathroom. The only excuse they can give is that there were people that looked like them that caused problems a week earlier (no one in my group had been to the establishment at any point in the past month). The manager or whoever yelled at all of us as they kicked us out of the building. I yelled back because it got heated and she was very unprofessional about the entire situation, and was insulting everyone in the group. She snapped back at me as I walked back to my car and insulted my height as well. I am very perplexed, as this all happened in a span of 5 minutes. As I left, I said thanks "thanks for the hospitality, it's my first time here and I'm never coming back." She retorted: "good, I hope we never see you again." This is was my one and only experience with The Clubhouse. I was unwelcome from minute one, and they disrespected everyone I was with for an unwarranted claim. The manager working on April 10th at around 4:30pm was the most awful representation of someone running a business I have ever seen. She made assumptions about us based off of how we looked, she insulted my appearance, and then laughed at us all as we left. read more

Went on a Friday night to catch a band, have dinner and a couple drinks. Sat at a table for 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement. Finally caught a server's eye with motions similar to guiding an airplane into the terminal. Another 5 minutes later a young man took our drink order and informed us that someone else would be serving us since it was "really slow" and he was going home. Our new server had zero interest in coming by our table. We had to seek her out every time we needed something. (Luckily, she was easy to find chillin' and gabbing' behind the bar) We had the nachos, which were very good, then ordered a pizza. When the pizza finally came out it was cold! The one dish on earth you can always count on being hot when you get it. Maybe they carried it across the street from Imo's, I don't know. Hidden gem for an excellent steak sandwich! 2 for 2 so far (had to come back and try it again just to be sure it wasn't a fluke ). It rivals the original Biggies steak sandwich on garlic cheese bread back in the day when they were amazing and before they became to fatty! I give these guys a solid 3.5/5. Great location, tasty food and clean. Layout is great too. Homemade chips were solid as was the burger and BLT. Chicken strips were tasty but not hand breaded. I would scale back the menu by 1/3 or more....it'll save on costs/overhead while improving everything else. The loud rap music being pumped in was a turnoff. This place is ok - I suspect the people giving it such high reviews are the locals. A group of us went out there because it was near a movie theater we were going to later, and it definitely smells a bit divey in there. It's my fault for not knowing that Saturday night was karaoke night, but in between they blasted pop music SO LOUD that it was hard to hear anyone. The food was pretty average- an alright burger, decent fries, some flavorless onion rings and 'meh' toasted ravs. On the positive side I could tell that the waiters were working hard to get us what we needed - they messed up my boyfriend's order a little and they fixed it quickly, and service was prompt enough. The building itself has been a bar since as far back as I can remember. Used to be the Ten Mile House for many years and at the time was nothing more than every dive bar in town with pool tables. The new owners took over a ways back and the improvements were immediate. It's still a bit of a hole in the wall you could easily drive past and not even know it's there but worth finding. Food is good, live music is a nice thing to have and service has always been good even when the place is packed. Last trip there I did the basic wings and pizza. Several different flavors but opted for standard 'hot/spicy'. Taste was spot on - not too crazy of heat but enough that it leaves a nice afterburn and flavor was good. Pizza was tasty on a St Louis style thin crust with bacon and no skimping on toppings. Band was playing on a Friday night and while there was only one person working the bar and one working the floor with a packed house they worked their butts off and hustled to keep everyone tended to. Prices are also absolutely reasonable. I had pizza, wings and two buckets of beer with tip for $50. Can't beat it. read more
