From the moment we walked in, the service at Dulce Patria was incredible. We were warmly welcomed right away, and the ambience is absolutely beautiful with plenty of great spots for photos. Our server, Natasha, was amazing and took the time to explain all their promotions, including a great happy hour menu. We tried the Tussi Roll, Dominican Power, and Cuban Tempora sushi rolls. Each one was full of flavor, and I was honestly impressed by how good they were. My friend ordered the Bad Bunny drink and the Beso de Coco. She enjoyed both, but the coconut one was her favorite and she definitely recommends it for coconut lovers. Parking isn't the greatest in the area, but this place is absolutely worth the effort to find a spot.Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back with more friends. The food was delicious!! I had the maduro roll i also had the Cuban roll and they were so good and filling! The service was great our server knew it was my first time and she was so sweet in sharing the menu and some customer favorites with my group. The ambiance was really cute! I would go back but maybe for brunch to sees different atmosphere. This spot is also very cute for a date night. Stumbled upon this spot on instagram and it instantly caught my attention because they have a pretty good happy hour deal! The happy hour is Tuesday-Friday , 3-7pm. It offers house made cocktails like sangria, mojitos , mimosas etc. House shots are $1! They also have appetizers that are $5 & $7. Sushi rolls are 2x1. So the deal is definitely sweet! I loved the atmosphere, the vibe. They also had a DJ. I got there a bit later than what I wanted , so I am not sure at what time the DJ starts his set. Comes off like a small lounge type of place, but it's not that big. It's intimate and cool for a date night or night out with the girls. The food was good. I had the birria empanadas and the "maduro roll" which had sweet plantains on it. Everything was delicious. I took full advantage of the happy hour and definitely had a good time. The service was good. The ladies were very attentive and everyone seemed very nice and friendly. It's a good spot to go and have a nice time. Food. Drinks and they also have hookah for $25 cash. I went here for brunch on a Sunday. The parking in the area is horrible, I drove around for 20min before finding a spot 5 blocks away. The place was empty, at around 1:30pm. We sat outside in the patio area with outdoor heaters. The brunch included an app and entree. I ordered the coconut shrimp which brought 3 with a sweet chili sauce, my friend ordered the calamari which came with a marinara. The shrimp and calamari were good but the marinara sauce tasted like it was from a can. The entrees we chose were steak and eggs, and tres golpe. I was very impressed with the flavor on the steak, the potatoes were ok and eggs were standard. The tres golpe was good the mangu was soft. We opted to pay an additional $5 per person to add flavor to our mojitos which were unlimited for 90 min. We asked for dessert and they had none which was disappointing. When it comes to aesthetics this restaurant wins hands down. I had the viva la vida drink it was sooo cute great for girls night. I will say the drink is very sweet so if you don't like sweet drinks it won't be for you. For food I had two apps the birria cheese empanadas and the sweet chilli wings to be honest they lacked flavor. The empanada literally tasted like meat and cheese no sazon and the wings were not breaded they were just wings with sauce. For food I had the sushi the Cuban roll now that I highly recommend. It had maduros shrimp tempura cheese and chicken. My friend had the dragon roll which was made with cooked salmon which was also good. Be careful - the add is nice, place is nice but very pricey. They don't give option for regular water bottle water. They automatically give you bottled water and then charge you for it without you knowing. We were attended to by 2 staff members who were extremely nice. One of them even ask me what music I wanted to listen to and she changed the music to my taste. Drinks were fantastic! Unfortunately we only ordered appetizers & i give those like 3/10 Chicken teriyaki empanadas tasted like regular chicken & i felt like they fried it to much it was super crunchy. Ehhhh, I got a chimichanga it came with peppers inside which I wasn't big on cuz it made everything soggy. The queso fundido wasn't baked it was like melted regular cheese n they charge you for chorizo that looks like bacon bits. Worst date night of 2024!. I'm writing this as me and my date are walking out of the place somehow still hungry after spending 80 dollars ?? We choose to branch out tonight and try something outside of our usual local go-to spots. Big mistake. I'm embarrassed because I choose the place and me and my date had an awful time... let me start with the service. We went for happy hour, arrived at 5 and were sat at a table pretty promptly. By the time our first drink even arrived we had already been there for 25 minutes... needless to say those went down quickly, due to us sitting there THIRSTY the whole time... then our food comes out, which was just ok at best. The real shocker was when i received my order of wings only to find that I had waited almost 40 minutes for 3 wings... yes your reading that correctly, THREE wings (who does that??).. So after consuming the most pitiful portion of chicken I think I've ever received in my life, of course we were quite thirsty AGAIN..... we ordered 2 more drinks and figured we would wait to finish our meal. by the time we got our 2nd drink, it was 6:10 pm.... 25 minutes after we had even ordered it and ten minutes after happy hour? We sat there for 25 minutes practically choking from our mouths being so dry while our food sat and got cold... to add insult to injury the 2 waters we had requested never even Made their way out to the table... we intended on having more then just 2 drinks however the service is SOOO poor that 2 drinks is all they are able to get out to the table.... what made matters worse is that we watched the table directly next to us (table of 6) receive countless appetizers and 5 or 6 drinks during the time that we were there. To have Bad service across the entire restaurant is one thing, But when we see that we are the only patrons being ignored. We understand that we are not welcomed here... granted we had come from work and our attire certainly reflected that. But being in an environment where your customers can't feel welcomed is downright detrimental to a business... if your not going to cater to the working men and women, then honestly just close your doors already and make room for a new establishment.... shame on dulce patria and the staff for being so inattentive and unhospitable. This was our first and last visit here and to whoever has read this far, take my word, there are so many other AMAZING establishments nearby, don't make the mistake I did, Don't give your business to this one read more

Not impressed with customer service and watch out, no matter how many people in your party and how careless the service is, they will include 20% tip so make sure you take a look at your final tab. I've worked in hospitality before and i made sure people were being treated right, no matter if it was a party of 2 or 10 people. So many things went wrong that i left very disappointed and not planning to come back here. Not once the manager came to check on us or apologize for all the mistakes. The guy server has no clue what he's doing. He needs better training. There are plenty other places i can go check out, this is disappointing because i enjoy supporting mom and pop places instead of big chain restaurants. Please put more effort in your service, don't take your customers for granted. read more
