The yuca fries and cheese stuffed bites were a standout, crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy inside. We also had a steak quesadilla that was fresh and cheesy, along with tacos including grilled chicken, shrimp, hanger steak, and ground beef, each one well prepared and distinct. The batter was dark brown and extremely oily, so I ended up peeling much of it off. The fish itself didn't taste terrible, but it definitely wasn't anything memorable. The funniest thing was that they gave me two pieces of lime and one piece was so tiny about the size of my pinky nail - that at least made me smile because of the ridiculousness of it. It was actually decent until I bit into a chicken bone. This is a complete turn off for me. And it's unfortunate because the enchiladas had good flavor. Nothing unusual about the rice and beans. I asked for water to drink. In my world that means a glass of ice water. Instead I got a bottle from Costco. Would I go back? Probably not.
