They use food coloring in their food, I ordered via phone the pork belly bao buns and shrimp roll. I initially ordered the duck bao buns and they were out of that. I really wanted to like this place cause... dumplings! I thought the 1st visit maybe was a fluke, went a 2nd time and didnt find anything special. The food is ok, but nothing i would order again. Dumplings dont have much flavor. Same with ramen, didnt have any depth of flavor. I haven't tried the fried rice dishes, but don't think I'll come back anytime soon. WORST SERVICE. I tried to place a order for take out and was placed on hold the longest. I tried calling numerous time and was put on hold. When I got to the restaurant, I can't even place a order because they stop receiving orders. I don't understand why I was not told earlier that they stop taking orders over the phone rather than placing on hold. Your staff was not pleasant or accommodating. This restaurant was my go to before. You probably want to revisit your staff and your service procedures. When you first open your service was great and staff were good. This is one of the more budget friendly dinners in Bronxville! Everyone I know gets the drunken noodle and it never disappoints. (Also it's not spicy at all.) This most recent visit I tried it with the barbecue pork which added another level of flavor and switched it up just enough to keep it interesting. I would definitely recommend getting the shumai over the potstickers or dumpling--they have a great crunch and salty flavor that I find the others to be lacking. I would also recommend skipping the boba--the drinks are great but the tapioca pearls have no flavor and are easily bitten through. read more

I have to say, I have always enjoyed the food from this restaurant - 5 stars for food! My issue is that I have traveled up to the restaurant a number of times when they're supposed to be open and the staff are sitting in the dining area and decide to close early and refuse to answer the phone. If I owned this restaurant I would be very upset with my workers as this has happened many times. If you're not going to be open, change your opening hours so you don't waste peoples time coming to a restaurant with workers who just decide they have done enough for the day! Soup dumplings are decent -- not the best I had but also not the worst. They had a lot of soup inside but the covering was really thick. I got the stewed beef noodle soup and this was just gross. I've given Dumpling + Noodle a try twice to help satisfy my craving of some Dumplings, but unfortunately I'm always let down. Is the food bad? No. I think the best thing going for their place is their location (next to a major hospital) and the fact that they are one of the few establishments in lower Westchester that offer an array of dumplings including soup dumplings. During my last takeout order I had soup dumplings (mediocre), chicken and vegetable dumplings (good, but forgettable), spring rolls (nice that you get 5 per order) and the general tao chicken (very very similar quality to any Chinese takeout establishment). The decor is simple but effective with wooden tables and chairs. The food is good - their pad thai is fresh and well balanced; the drunken noodles are also tasty. I ordered the milk tea with boba, popcorn chicken, steamed dumplings, and spring rolls. The milk tea was delicious, not overly sweet, with a generous serving of tapioca bubbles. The chicken was a little small, but had large pieces of chicken so that the breading didn't overtake the taste. The spring rolls were decent - they were packed up in a special hot food container so that they stayed very crisp even on the drive home. The steamed dumplings were amazing! So for starters we had the scallion pancakes which had a nice smooth flavor, vegetable spring rolls served with a spicy dipping sauce which had a nice flavor and not over spicy at all and then the vegetable pork pan fried potstikas (not sure about the spelling). This was my first time having them and they were nice and crunchy on the outside but soft and filled with a nice flavoring of pork. For dinner had the drunkin noodles with chicken and pad thai. The drunken noodles were filled with a nice spice and the chicken was cooked to a nice texture. I prefer the pad thai noodles over the other ones but that's just my preference. My Sister l-in-law did us a favor and ordered take out from this establishment and we were not disappointed. We ordered 2 simple dishes to try it out and the food was really good. I wanted to post an honest review of this place as a big time foodie and a lover of Westchester. The food was good, fast delivery and dim sum was acceptable. There is was a lady dressed in a black T-shirt that was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately when we asked to change to a bigger table for two because I realized our food order was too much for the smaller table we were told we can sit anywhere. We choose a table she just cleaned not to crowd a family of three(3) sitting next to an empty table. There was another lady in a white T-shirt who seemed displeased in us moving. We moved all our food, silverware and water all by ourselves. My brother has never experienced that before but I didn't complain as we requested the change. But her stare did bother me. You know when you know people are talking shit about you in another language. Well, the looks said it all and even though they were talking Tagalog, I could tell they were making a big deal about it. Then the guy from the back and lady in white again proceeded to talk shit about us in English. They guy was like, they think they VIP. No! We are human and your place was not busy and we only requested a table change because we ordered a lot of food, simple request. I guess it's customary to talk crap about your customers in front of them in this place. I remember doing an Uber Eats delivery from here and the smell of the food really got me. It's a cute little spot in Bronxville. They have the soup dumplings, steamed buns, almost everything you can think of. I got the drunken noodles with BBQ Pork and baby let me tell you...my mouth had never been happier. I will say it was a little oily, but it was a struggle to make this last until the next day so I could have it for lunch. The noodles are thick. Think of lasagna noodles but cut 3/4 of the of the width. You can definitely tell that they are homemade. I love that the green peppers and onions haven't been cooked to the point of softness. They still maintain their integrity and crunch. They're cooked enough to mellow flavor but not to mush. The pork is so flavorful and vibes beautifully with the Thai chili sauce. Speaking of the sauce, it's not hot or spicy the way one would think. It has a warmth to it that doesn't disturb your buds at all. 20/10 recommend. The service is great. We started with appetizer we had pork in the bun and the pork soup dumpling I must I say it was really good. For the main dish we had Singapore rice noodles with chicken and pork over rice both were EXCELLENT ! For desert we had the red bean balls omg. All in all the experience was great the service was awesome and the prices are very very good ! For everything we ordered we spent 50$ flat and that's with tip.
