First time at Dough zone Kirkland. The food was served hot, perfect temperature for a cold day. Overall, food tasted good just like how I know it was when I ate years ago. I just noticed servings have gotten smaller maybe a possible tactic to maintain price range still manageable by consumers. Service was good. Servers even asked if we had parking ticket to validate. The restaurant was clean, restrooms were bigger than usual and clean.

The bestie and I decided to stop at the Kirkland Dough Zone on our way to Mt. Vernon. The location is nice, not much of a view though. We ordered the 5 spice beef shank, Spicy ma la noodles, Green soy sauce noodles , Pork wontons in chili sauce & Sweet And sour cucumber. We wanted the pan fried dumplings but they were out. I really love that they give you a dish of ginger and you can use the soy sauce, vinegar and chili oil at the table to make your own dipping sauce. The food was fantastic as always. My favorite is the pork dumplings in chili oil. Slightly disappointed that the spicy ma la noodles weren't as spicy and numbing as I was expecting, and the beef was good, but more like beef jerky than I wanted. The service was lackluster. We had to flag down someone more than once to ask for water, the dish with ginger to create your own dipping sauce, and the check. The Issaquah location is still my favorite, but I would come back to this one if I were in Kirkland again.

We were seated and served very quickly even though they were closing soon! Sadly they were out of the soup dumplings but the noodles, steamed chicken dumplings, and pan fried dumplings were good! I would love some more spicy options or spicy sauces but overall solid.

We came around 5:30pm on a Friday so we easily got a 4-people table for two of us (later we saw more people waiting in line.) The food was delicious and satisfying as usual as you could expect from any other Dough Zone locations. My friend didn't eat pork or beef but pretty much all categories had chicken option so it was good. Clean and new environment. Friendly staff. I always buy the Dough Zone gift cards from Costco before I go so I get extra savings! There is the parking garage that you can have them to validate the parking.

Solid spot for xiaolongbao! Coming from Vancouver, it's hard not to hold super high standards for Chinese food, but Dough Zone wasn't too shabby at all. I had been warned beforehand that the dumpling skins were a little too thick, but I didn't find that to be the case. The crab and pork xiaolongbao had a respectably thin wrapper and was very juicy. The cucumber dish was also quite nice, but I found the Dan Dan noodles to be a touch too salty. The chili oil wontons were great, though the oil was a bit on the sweet side. I wish they had more Chinese vegetable dishes instead of things like kale and romaine lettuce. The feel is a bit like a fast casual restaurant, and the service is pretty standard for that kind of place. Staff aren't going to go out of their way to be friendly, but they definitely get the job done efficiently and cordially. This place would certainly do if you're craving fairly affordable xiaolongbao in a pinch!

Similar as other Dough Zone Dumpling House stores, however, some dishes (if not all) seemed like pre-cooked or package from refrigerator, instead of cooked by chefs in the restaurant.

Beef Noodle soup was a bit disappointing. There wasn't enough beef in the soup, noodles were cold, and scallions were just thrown in like an afterthought. Service was fast, they put in the order right away; however the kitchen ran out of Crab and Pork Xiao Long Bao. Had to go with just the pork Xiao Long Bao not pictured. Ambiance was okay for fast casual. They need to play music in there to set the vibe a bit better. Felt really empty.

I've been going to dough zone forever, I'm that annoying person who was going on about how they were never going to FINALLY open in Kirkland... we'll I've been here a bunch and I can tell you... I'm so glad they're here!! I always get the same things cuz you know I just can't help it!! Chicken pot stickers - YES Shrimp and Zuchinni - kinda liked the old version (it's more minced that prices now) but still love it Dan Dan Noodles - EVERY TIME Spicy Beef Pancake - I can't help myself, it's spicy in a lovely oniony pancake roll Chicken Soup Dumpling - double order of this and be careful not to sputter on the soup, always tasty When it comes to the ambiance beggars can't be choosers I guess. The windows are lovely but the layout is all wrong and crammed, I will say not having a place to wait for your table gets the doorway situation pretty bad. They turn off any sort of wait list (people love to eat here) and yeah it's cold and wet most days so ‍ I dunno if there's anything they can do about it now.

A small and modern dough zone location, conveniently off the main strip headed into downtown Kirkland. There is a parking garage right when you pull into this business complex, which you will have to use to park (street parking is super sparse here). Check in on Yelp to join the virtual waitlist. It's not breaking news that you will have to wait for delicious dumplings, especially with this location being small. You can however enjoy local shops or grab a beer at the brewery next door while you wait. Menu is extensive, though I do wish they had a few more vegetable options. Everything was great, especially the potstickers, soup dumplings, and wonton soup. Broths seemed a little over salted but in all the meal was great and we left warm and full. Also, we fed our family of 5 past our stuffing point and even enjoyed a few beers and the bill was only $100 which seemed more than reasonable for how much we ate.

This google plaza waa pristine but dough zone was so hard for me to find. Its in the top corner and its quite inconvenient for takeout if u arent a regular. I had to park and take quite a hike because it was a parking garage with no markings. Im sure its great if u live there ane werent trying to get takeout in the cold rain.

However, when both service and food exceed expectations, a restaurant becomes an industry benchmark. Service: The service here was truly, exceptionally outstanding. A friend brought me here today--he had only been to this restaurant once before--yet every single staff member remembered him, and even remembered what he had ordered last time! They were genuinely thrilled to see him return. The pacing of the dishes and the check-ins during the meal were both spot-on. Ambiance: A classic Cantonese restaurant atmosphere--full of character, dignified, and rich with Chinese design elements. The seating is comfortable, the restaurant is impeccably clean, and the management is clearly top-notch. Food: Great value for money, with very reasonable pricing. The fried rice was loaded with rich ingredients and seasoned to absolute perfection. The seafood tofu was mild in flavor and made with fresh ingredients--perfect for children. The green beans were fresh and had just the right level of spice. As one of China's Eight Great Culinary Traditions, Cantonese cuisine is defined by its freshness: fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and fresh execution. Preparing Cantonese food is far more trouble than people realize; because of the complex preparation, strict standards for ingredients, and a low yield rate, true quality is hard to achieve. Since this restaurant is run entirely by a team of Cantonese chefs, I believe it is ultimately their passion that drives their success.

We ordered shrimp rice roll, har gow, football, shrimp with eggplant, shrimp with bell pepper, spare rib, Xiao long bao, sautéed pea tips, chicken feet, meatballs, shrimp and chive dumplings, tripe, and mango pudding. I really liked the filling in the football, which contained ground pork and mushrooms, not so much the flour for the outer layer. I also liked the tripe, pea tips, and chicken feet. They were delectable. Other than that, it seemed a bit plain. I didn't really like the chili oil they used, it was more like a sambal. I'm glad we ended with the mango pudding for dessert. The mold for it was so cute. Hopefully next time I come here they change up the chili used.

The store is a little different now that Rooster & Rice has taken over some of the kitchen. In the ordering area, the left two kiosks are solely for Rooster & Rice, while the right three kiosks are for Xiao Chi Jie and Bento Bliss. The menu is drastically shortened, with all the Mila products and the Jianbing being removed. Honestly not a bad removal given how mediocre I thought they were. And surprisingly, pricing ($12.99) for the 5pc Sheng Jian Bao hasn't increased in the almost 2 years since my first visit. Their method of cook is traditional, bunching a large number of bao together with oil and water in an oversized and specialized pan just for this dish (with the required cover for steaming, of course). The quality remains the exact same as my first visit - good amount of fatty interior rendered aspic, strong umami and aromatic flavoring on the pork meatball filling, and a nice thin doughy skin. It's a very solid SJB, and probably the best that can be found in the Seattle metro.

The Garlic Crispy Chicken and Singapore Noodles were also good. The only dish that didn't stand out to us was the Chicken Fried Rice, which was our least favorite of the meal. The service was excellent from start to finish. A special shoutout to the host, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Parking was convenient as well, with a nearby garage offering the first 3 hours free. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the pricing felt a bit on the higher side, especially considering the portion sizes seemed smaller compared to other Chinese restaurants we've visited.
