To say my recent experience at Dunkin' Donuts was a disappointment would be a massive understatement. It was clear that customer service was not a priority. I placed a simple order after I was very eager to try the Christmas menu. Despite the simplicity, the employee at the counter seemed completely disinterested, barely making eye contact and mumbling incoherently. She was super rude with attitude. When my order finally arrived after they made me go inside the dunkin because of them getting my order wrong in the drive thru, it was wrong they gave me two hot coffees when I clearly said iced. I politely brought it to their attention, hoping for a quick fix. Instead, I was met with an eye roll and a dismissive attitude. They remade the order, but they took the longest amount of time they could've taken. At this point, frustration was setting in. The employee seemed annoyed by my request for the correct order, and their tone became increasingly rude. It was as if I was inconveniencing them by wanting what I had paid for. The overall experience was a comedy of errors, compounded by the lady at the registers appalling attitude. It's not just about getting an order wrong; it's about how you treat your customers when mistakes happen. And in this case, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astounding. I feel as if most people come to post negative experiences but as I go to this Dunkin' often I thought it was time to leave my 2 cents. It is typical Dunkin' food and coffee but I haven't experienced any issues that others have at their local locations. You really can't beat the Dunkin' meal deals for a quick breakfast and when I come to pickup my order the drive through employees are always pleasant and polite. My order is always correct and they make sure to give me a straw. The only suggestion I have for Dunkin' as a whole is to please bring back the chorizo wrap. The website and the signs on your door doors say that you're open till 10 PM. If you're going to close at 9:30 then that's what should be posted. I work evenings sometimes I rush to places that are open till 10 PM on my break. Tonight was one of those nights that I wasted time sitting at your drive-through and then trying to open the front door which was locked at 9:30 thanks for wasting most of my break. read more

I'm not sure why this has to be complicated but it was. Dunkin Donuts is coffee and donuts, right? Maybe a breakfast sandwich? An order of a breakfast sandwich resulted in a wait that was absurdly too long. To top it off, why were the donuts on a rack not behind the counter? I'm sure that's not how it's supposed to be. If I said the wait was 15 to 20 minutes for my breakfast sandwich that would be about right. A half dozen other people were waiting as well and there seemed to be an adequate amount of employees, and a really long line at the drive through. It seemed as if the drive through line took precedent over those inside. I think that all of the drive through line took precedent over those inside. Not once did anyone even say it shouldn't be much longer or thank those waiting for being patient. With many other options for breakfast nearby I won't be returning. Dunkin Donuts isn't new and they should have this coffee and donuts and maybe a breakfast sandwich down. read more

If I could give one star I would. I purchased a half dozen donuts on 10/23/20 in the drive-thru, b/c the store is still not open. Came home and they were hard as bricks. Called the store, spoke to a young woman who directed me to Aaryn. Explained my situation and that I did not plan to go back out again to get replacements, as the young woman had sais was necessary to do, today. Arryn apologized and said, because of my having to come back because of the bad donuts, he would give me a dozen upon my return, thus giving 6 free. I thanked him. He commented that the glazed donuts came out wrong today, and he wasn't sure what had happened. Told him that I would make it back that way on Sunday, 10/25, because I didn't live near that location. He told me to ask for him or Sam. Came back today, Sunday. Explained the conversation to the manager, who didn't give his name. Told him what Aaryn said. He said, he would not honor it and would only replace the bad ones. He went on to say, Aaryn never said that he would give me a dozen. I asked to speak to Aaryn. He was in. He at first, tried to say, he told me he would give me 6 and I could pay for another 6 when I came back. Now, why would anyone say that? That makes absolutely no sense. I then asked him point blank, Arryn are you going to stand here now and say that you didn't tell me that you would give me a dozen for my trouble. Giving me the extra six, free? Arryn, then admitted, in front of the manager, that he in fact had said, he would give me a dozen. Thank goodness he spoke the truth. However, upon hearing that, still, the manager argued against giving me the donuts. He said, I am only going to replace the bad ones. As if, I should be lucky that he was willing to do that much. Apparently, he thought it was too much to give 6 free donuts for my inconvenience of having to drive back and out of my way for the replacement donuts. He acted as if he was doing me a favor for replacing an inferior product. Before taking the replacement, the half dozen, which was due, I asked him to honor what Aaryn had promised. Agitated, the manager repeatedly refused. I told him, if this is how you run your business, not honoring what your employee promised, I would leave a poor review on Yelp. He didn't seem to care. Aaryn, the worker, did what was right. The greedy manager should have known better. The fact that Arryn was afraid to tell the truth reveals a lot about the greedy manager. These prices are so much higher than other Dunkin's. The store on 95th in Naperville is much cheaper for certain items. For instance their veggie wake up wrap is $1 more at the Eola location! This DD is also a Baskin Robbins. Ice cream cakes for birthdays are our family tradition. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's 22nd birthday last month. I made some changes to the standard design and it came out exactly the way I ordered it. My daughter loved it!! I also come here to get ice cream in a cup on occasion. After begrudgingly frequenting this location since it opened, only because it's so close, I am done. The owners and staff are consistently indifferent at best, and rude more than any customer service staff should ever be. Orders are often wrong, and requesting that they be corrected feels like I was the one who either didn't listen or doesn't really care. This morning was the last straw as my son and I presented 2 Special Olympics fund raising coupons good for 2 free donuts. 2 free donuts, not 2 dozen. The instant response from the counter was that they had expired, on June 30th to be specific. (8 days ago) I asked to speak with the manager, who's response was equally dismissive, disrespectful and unacceptable. Let's do the math together on this situation. I would estimate that we previously purchased an average of 2-dozen donuts a month at this location. On an annual basis, this rolls up to approximately $200 annually, at a conservative gross profit of $175 for the franchisee. So, how would YOU handle this situation? 1. Accept the expired coupons, and forego a $2 sale? 2. Reject the coupons, and with this rejection the opportunity to sell a customer standing in your store additional baked goods and coffee? Well, based upon the nimrods who own, manage and staff this location, Response #2 was a costly one, as I will not be back, and in addition to today's lost cash transaction, my $175 annual contribution to your businesses bottom line is gone. read more

MAKE SURE you check your order before you walk away from the counter! Today went in with my young son, we were literally the only ones in the place. There were three people working behind the counter, but between the three of them, they could not cobble together a meal of one sandwich, one order of potatoes, on donut, one muffin. Got home, had the wrong sandwich, no potatoes. This has happened before there: order a sandwich on a toasted bagel, it is not toasted. Order a sandwich w/ egg & sausage, no cheese, it comes with cheese. Never again - Big Apple Bagel is about a half-mile away (north) on Eola. Their service, selection, and execution is FAR better. This was the most disgusting experience i've ever had at a dunkin'. I ordered a iced coffee and I found a long black hair in it. Absolutely disgusting. I went back in line and waited and the worker was extremely rude and laughed at us when giving us a new drink. I used to be very impressed with the service at this location bc staffs were super friendly most of the time I visited. This morning however, the service was just horrible. I walked in when the place wasn't busy at all. The staff at the counter was very rude and it seemed like she didn't want to take my order. This is one of those DD/Baskin Robbins shops, and we ride our bikes there often. We go there because our route is bike friendly--not because it's a great place. The staff is usually friendly, but the shop is often very dirty. The tables need to be washed off, the floor is sticky, and there is trash left around. The outside seating is the same. Worst Double D and Baskin Robbins EVER! I go to this location every Saturday or Sunday and then on the days I get my nails done. They can't get a damn thing right. The staff is either ignorant or rude, or in some cases, both. I had one person tell me they didn't have soft serve ice cream for cappuccino blast. I've been ordering the Cappuccino Blast EVERYDAY (sometimes as many as 3 times a day) for the past 6-7 years now, I'm probably the worst person to tell that you don't have something meant for a cappuccino blast. I've contemplated calling management so many times, but end up never calling because you can't understand the people that work there anyhow. So, now on Saturdays & Sundays I drive to the Double D and Baskin Robbins on Lake St, which is completely out of my way, but for a cappuccino blast, it's completely worth it. Two years ago I was converted from drinking Starbucks Coffee to Dunkin' Donuts Coffee on South Eola Rd in Aurora, IL and the service has been great up until today. I returned to have my wife's coffee and mine corrected when the owner of the establishment attempted to verbally abuse me and accuse me of try to get free coffee. I go that same place seven days a week, sometimes twice a day and today was my last. No one should patronize them anymore simply because they are no longer customer friendly at all. read more
