    Singed bagel

We usually go out of our way to drive to this Dunkin location Bcz their customer service is generally decent & they consistently prepare things the way they are ordered and/or supposed to be served. Today, the service was fine, but the food was... not. I'll attach pics. The wake up wrap is basically an inedible hockey puck & the bacon on the singed bagel is a joke. Strangely, the hash browns were actually undercooked, cold & falling apart. As a side note, lately, (over the past month or two) every Saturday or Sunday morning when we've gone & tried to order the one "special" they're currently offering- the $3 sausage, egg & cheese croissant with any size coffee purchase- they are very conveniently out of sausage & won't be getting a delivery until the following week. They don't offer any substitutions on this either & it has happened at this location far too many times to not be purposeful. They don't want to lose $ on the specials that they're mandated to offer as a franchise, so this is how they get around it. This location needs to do better, in several ways.

Yes the line was long. Yes I had to wait in it. But that wasn't a big deal because this was the best dunkin donut I have ever had. I mobile ordered an iced coffee, stuffed bagels, bag of bacon, hash browns, and the featured ghost pepper donut. After waiting in a long but moving line I got to the front and they got my order to me and it was all there and correct. The donut was just because I wanted to try something different. I don't generally like Dunkins donuts because they're never ever fresh when I get them. Well this one was perfect! It was soft and fresh and perfectly sweet and the ghost pepper added a spice which I enjoyed but it's not at all spicy. The bagels were soft and warm. The bacon was crispy and delicious. The hashbrowns were chewy and meh but they're always chewy and meh. My iced coffee washed it all down well. I have to say I was Impressed and I hope that this means Dunkin is stepping up their game.

Ordered on the mobile app and walked inside to pick it up. The line for drive thru was very long but only 1 person waiting inside. My order was ready in minutes. I ordered 3 coffees and a wrap and they seemed a little overwhelmed. The woman waiting inside seemed a little inpatients and the employee said that she had a large order she needed filled. I think she was taking about mine. Got to work and looked at my wrap and it looked like this. Not appetizing at all and for 1.79??? Not even sure what this brown stuff is but it looks like bbq sauce. I opened the wrap and it looks like a chunk was bitten out of the turkey sausage.

Currently waiting to get out of line after waiting 20 minutes to find out they aren't serving food right now. Crazy. Put out a damn sign.

A…read morereasonably sized King Cake felt like a dream come true -- all the fun of the tradition without committing to feeding an entire village. I immediately pre-ordered two mini King Cakes at $5.50 each (total $11), already imagining the moment I'd get to gloat when I found the hidden baby! The mini King Cakes were actually quite generous in size. Easily enough for 3-4 people...although I personally demolished mine in one sitting and have zero regrets. Now for the part that caught me off guard. The plastic baby -- arguably the entire point of a traditional King Cake -- was perched on top instead of hidden inside. I was fully anticipating that moment of excitement that comes from discovering the baby mid-bite, because that's kind of the magic of a King Cake tradition. Without that element, what I ended up with felt more like a very festive brioche-style cinnamon roll wearing Mardi Gras colors than a King Cake. To be clear, it tasted good. The cake itself was soft without being dry, had plenty of cinnamon-esque filling without tipping into overly gooey territory, and was generously finished with frosting and sugary crystals. Flavor-wise, no complaints. But if you're marketing something specifically as a King Cake, the expectation is that the baby is hidden within. Otherwise, it changes the experience entirely. For food safety purposes, there are plenty of creative alternatives -- an edible marzipan baby, a clearly oversized non-choking-hazard version, sticker on the box, etc. -- but the surprise element is part of what makes a King Cake a King Cake. Overall, not a bad experience -- just not quite the Mardi Gras moment I was hoping for. Next year, I'll probably seek out a bakery that leans into the full King Cake tradition...because if I'm chasing the thrill of finding a tiny plastic baby in my dessert, I want to earn that victory properly. If the baby isn't going in the cake, just let me know up front so I can manage my expectations (and my Mardi Gras excitement) accordingly.

It was larger than the Harrisburg downtown one and reminded me of Reading Terminal in Philly (less crowded but still lots of options). There's also tons of parking all surrounding the building. The upstairs section has small specialty shops; the lower level is full of food vendors -- from produce to fresh pasta to tacos to pizza to pierogies to quiches. They also even had plant stands and floral arrangements. I got 1.5lbs of fresh made spinach fettuccine from Fasta & Ravioli, two very tasty bagels from Bagel Lovers (foccacia flavored and everything egg bagels--both were SO delicious and a great texture; they also had tons of other varieties like pumpernickel, onion, and blueberry, all made fresh daily and for a very reasonable price -- I think I paid something around $3 for my two bagels). I could've spent tons more time there but unfortunately was just stopping by after running an errand in the area. Needless to say, I will be back!!

The fried chicken was the highlight of the meal. It had a golden-brown, crispy coating and was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and not dried out at all. The portions were generous, with some of the largest pieces of fried chicken I've seen from a hot food counter. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, making for a great side dish. The cornbread muffin was moist, soft, and paired well with the meal. The only downside was the potato wedges. They were seasoned well, but a few pieces tasted a little overcooked or burnt, which took away from an otherwise solid meal. Overall, this was a very good first experience. Between the large portions, fresh food, and flavorful chicken, it's definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a quick comfort-food meal. I'd happily go back and try it again.

Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!
