Placed a mobile order for pick-up 15 minutes in advance on a Saturday morning in late November. The lone person on duty had not yet touched my order, and was unable to find or identify a "cruller", telling me they were out of them (there were half a tray's worth right there). He then took our cash, made change with money, continued to rub his nose and then proceeded to grab the inside of our cups to make our coffee and was touching food items. No understanding of hygiene in the least! Disgusting. I quietly mentioned it to a woman working, her excuse was that "he's new". I couldn't care less if he was new or been there 20 years, basic hand hygiene when handling money, food and drinks and wiping your nose should be understood and practiced when in food service. The Dunkin Donuts in this part of the country are HORRID. I pulled up here to the drive through, waited a few minutes and that line wasn't moving. I went in to order and that was also at a stand still, so I walked out to leave. I came back to my car and noticed the drive through line had moved so I decided to try my luck in there again since I had driven ten minutes out of my way to pick up a coffee. Luckily the drive through line finally moved along and I received my coffee quickly. The Dunkin in Apex is just as horrid and slow! Getting a cup of coffee out is a once a week treat for me, but it's such a stress fest here. I'll just stick to brewing my k cups at home and save $! (9.25.22 - 11am) I place a pretty large $40 mobile/app order (prepaid). 50 munchkins, dozen donuts, coffee roll, 2 Apple fritters and a few hash browns. Get there less than 10 minutes later. They tell me they never got the order but they'll work on it (they took a picture of the order on my phone, which also showed the order was paid). An HOUR later they tell me they are OUT OF pretty much EVERYTHING. They also inform me they have ZERO donuts, NO coffee roll, NO apple fritters! How is a donut shop OUT OF DONUTS???? They tell me they can refund what they don't have which was half my order (they only had the munchkins, but not all the flavors). They do absolutely NOTHING to make to make it right. No offer of a gift card, a coffee or even an extra few munchkins. Absolutely no effort to make this right! Out of everything and having me wait an hour. I made my order at 11:07 and I walked out of the store at 12pm! They made zero effort to make this right. Absolutely nothing!!! Barely an apology. "We can't control the app". You can control keeping me waiting an hour. You can control on a Sunday morning being slap out of donuts. You can control taking other orders while making me wait. It's Dunkin, so my heart gives it a 5 star, but my head gives it a 2, so they can meet in the middle and agree on a 3. The constant turnover in staff leads to a lot of new faces and a constant learning curve, Dunkaccinos are often mistaken for cappuccinos, but I blame the fact the drive thru microphone faces the street. The coffee itself is great, and they have been remembering to make Cold Brew, whereas there was a while about a year ago or so they kept forgetting to brew it the night before. The staff that has survived the constant turnover are wonderful, and engaging with their customers. I appreciate this location and hope the team can continue to grow and improve. read more

Every time I've ordered a bagel with cream cheese they have given me an amount of cream cheese that's not even sufficient for one half of the bagel, much less both. Knowing that, last time I asked for EXTRA cream cheese and that must have been difficult to comprehend because I got an amount of cream cheese that was less than one of those single servings in the little gray plastic container that you get at a hotel breakfast. They stick both pieces together too, so it's basically like you're just eating a bread sandwich. I also ordered a coffee with 4 cream and 4 sugar, and it did not possibly have more than two of each. This is a company who does nearly a billion dollars of revenue per year and is publicly traded. Are stockholders upset and wanting the company to cut costs, and proposing they cut back on cream cheese, cream and sugar distribution as a means to do so? Otherwise, I can't understand it. Being from the northeast, have always loved Dunkin Donuts. It was the coffee/donut shop I grew up with. But the biggest problem with this location and DD in general is consistency. The coffee tastes different at each location and the employees are quick to mess up your order and forget things or put in the wrong allocation of sugar/creams that you want. This location is no different. Plus, they make slight modifications to your order without telling/alerting you. This morning, we ordered an old-fashioned donut, but I assume since they were out or didn't bake those, they gave me a glazed donut without explanation. Why not communicate they are out of an old fashioned and see if I wanted a different donut? In general, service is slow and accuracy is a disaster. I have ordered a hot chocolate or dunkaccino on multiple occasions where all I got was a cup of hot water with no flavor. My son lives in a group home down the street from the Kildaire Farms Dunkin Donuts. We visit every Saturday to pick up a dozen donuts for the children and the staff. We have been there almost every Saturday for the past three years. We have seen the slow decline over the years. Two weeks ago we ordered a dozen donuts and they didn't have a box, once again to hold the dozen donuts. The girl who served us tried talking on the headset, to us and to another employee all at the same time. She then had very long hair and it kept touching the box she was holding. She then charged us the wrong amount, as we order the exact same thing each week, we knew it was incorrect. A young man came over to the register and fixed the register to show the correct amount. I then asked to speak to the manager. He told me he was the manager. He then said, "What's the problem?" I explained to him about our weekly visits and how we had seen the decline in the amount of donuts as well as the quality. I also explained how there were never any boxes to fit a dozen donuts. His answer to me was they were slammed this morning. When I got home I wrote about my visit on the website listed on the receipt. I did get an email saying someone would be calling me within four days. Guess what! It's been over a week later and no call or email for that matter. This weekend we visited my son and did not stop by the Dunkin Donuts. Instead we stopped at the Krispy Creme. Everyone had their hair tucked under a cap. There was a good selection of donuts and they even had a box for a dozen. The young lady talked to me only and not to several people. Such a pleasurable experience. I live across the road from this location. The front line staff are friendly but this place is run so inefficiently that it takes forever to get orders. Most recent experience was that only half of my call in order was prepared (hot items). After requesting the addditonal items i waited another 5-7 minutes and then had to remind them about the order. By the time i got home, the hot items were cold. Every time i go here there is a similar issue. The manager needs to be replaced with someone that can organize the team the right way. There are plenty of friendly people working but zero coordination. I recommend finding a different Duncan since there plenty of options read more

Our coffee spot was closed for the holiday, so we decided to give Dunkin another try...at a new location. The Dunkin Donuts we tried in Raleigh left us rather disappointed, but here, the staff seemed professional and polite and the menu items were as expected. It honestly isn't anything to write home about, but it was nice to be able to drive-thru and get something quickly for a pick-me-up! I'm not sure what exactly happened with our donut order, but it was not what we expected! It's quite clear that you need to know exactly what the item is called or you may be surprised with what you get. We wanted a regular looking donut with chocolate glaze, ordered a chocolate glazed donut and ended up with something resembling chocolate cake with regular icing on top! So...just be sure to check the menu and order exactly what you want....or be ready to try something new! ;) Overall, the donuts are a step above a supermarket donut imo...but you don't even need to get out of your car to obtain it ('Merica!). When I really crave a donut, this spot makes for an easy fix. The coffee...even after a few more attempts, it's still not great. We're left somewhat perplexed as so many people we know have raved about their coffee. Not sure if we're just ordering the wrong thing, or if we just don't have the same preferences as the people who love it... it'd be nice to have an amazing drive-thru coffee nearby again though. I'm giving the Dunkin' Donuts located at 3511 Kildaire Farm Rd & Ten Ten Rd, Cary, NC 27518 a 3 star review because I just suffered the one of the worst customer experiences I've had in a long time. I prefer not to go into too much detail, other than to say that I was sorely disappointed because in the past, I've had nothing but very good experiences there. The difference I think is that other times I've been there have been early in the morning where a very eager-to-please staff is in place. However today I happened to catch a later crew who apparently was in the middle of a 1pm shift change, where from what I could overhear, was in a bit of disarray as someone or ones hadn't shown up as schedule. The only person who knew what they were doing was the woman working the drive-thru window. She was all hustle. Will I go back? In the early mornings yes. Meanwhile, I got what I wanted -- whole coffee beans on sale -- at the DD on 800 Perry Road Apex, NC 27502 -- where the staff there was friendly, helpful and cheerful. UPDATE: After making the management aware of this issue online, I did get a call from the store manager. She was very apologetic, and insured me that the 'shift lead' would be better trained. Still, I don't know if I'll go back for beans as I found said seeds purchased that day were not the same quality of beans I had obtained from Dunkin' Donuts in the past. This Dunkin' was....not great. I love Dunkin but guys please get it together. I went this morning and the line was so long, the service was so slow, just not the best I have seen compared to other ones in the area. I was assuming all of this was because of COVID but then when I came on here and read the other reviews I realized it was always this bad. The iced caramel latte had literal GRANULATED SUGAR pieces in the bottom; when I drank my coffee I got the occasional crunch from the sugar. Ontop of that the sausage in the bagel I got was cold. They messed up my order, I had to ask then for the 2nd coffee I ordered because they forgot it, they gave me the wrong doughnuts and my coffee was messed up. It was definitely not worth the $15 I paid, I will not be coming back to this location. They need to get it together!! read more
