We stopped at the drive thru for breakfast. Not a complex order at all, just normal breakfast food. When I pulled to the drive thru window, the young lady there looked as if she was sitting down comfortably. Instead of taking my card, she stuck the machine halfway out of the window. She said not one word, instead letting me find the slot myself. She didn't even say "okay" when it was done. I was left to read the display saying 'approved.' She then got our food and stuck it and the drink out of the window. She said absolutely nothing at all during this part either. Management: You are failing. Miserably. How? You hire someone with some kind of 'It's my job to work the window; NOT to be nice while I'm doing it' attitude, for one. And after they start, apparently you aren't training them properly in common business etiquette. There is apparently no follow up from management with respect to courtesy in dealing with customers, either. (From the looks of your epically bad ratings from others) So now I'm also left with an additional thought: is it a failure of the owner in hiring and maintaining the same sorry management? Regardless, I'm not sure I want to patronize this place again, as I'd rather do business where I'm appreciated, greeted pleasantly and better yet, at least THANKED for spending my money there. Love Dunkin, and being raised on the East Coast, I am fueled by Dunkin. This location just sucks. It was never this bad, until 2025. The help is rude, except two people that you're lucky to experience working or being there. Management is a complete fail at this location. Customer service is completely lacking. Went through the drive through and ordered the blueberry daydream refresher. The employee rang us up for a regular refresher, so I asked if that was the one that came with the cold foam. She rudely said you can add cold foam, and acted as if I had inconvenienced her. I said okay and asked if it came with any coffee in it, there was a long pause and then again she rudely stated I could add cold foam, and then she was talking about me to another employee. Arrived around 1045. Only one person waiting for their food. One worker was only concentrating on drive thru, another was heating up the food orders, one was making drinks and there was a fourth but did not know that until after 11 when we finally got our order and left. No one acknowledged us when we walked in, stood at the register to place order and had to get the guys attention to take our order. He was noticeably annoyed. More at the other workers not doing much but was not pleasant to us. Never said thank you, didn't even make eye contact. Was very concerned to get done with us and back to drive thru. Once we got our food a lady came from the back and had no interest to do anything but stand and look at everyone. Very unpleasant experience and will not go back. I didn't want to order food and just leave but my kid was hungry. Not to mention the cheese was not melted and still cold. The service in the drive thru alone was atrocious. We pull up to be informed that a place called Dunkin Donuts don't have donuts on a Sunday at 12. The lady the proceeded to speak as if she hates her job. My thing is if you don't like working somewhere then why'd you apply? Maybe she would be better with a mop than customers. That's just my opinion. Then when I asked for a strawberry shot in my drink she responds with "Ma'am, we don't have strawberry shots" in an inpatient tone as if she were sick of her life. Love me some Dunkin and having one move into the area after being a Dunkin deprived was a big deal. Where we came from in SE Massachusetts there were literally Dunkin shops across the street from one another and sometimes 3 Dunkin's on the same block and all busy, yes they're that popular. But when we first moved to the Memphis area I was horrified to find that there were previously a few Dunkin places that had long moved out, oh the humanity! In 1993 I was already ordering Christmas for the kids online but a lot of retail outside of Sears & JC Penney wasn't there yet so ordering my coffee online wasn't an option, nor was Dunkin in stores. So I had to get friends to buy & ship my coffee or get it shipped direct by phone, it was tough times :-) So I was very happy to see 1,2,3 & finally this 4th Dunkin Donuts shop open up and this one only a few miles from my house. This one is a fine store with all the Dunkin offerings, clean & comfy chairs with a fire pit and a drive thru l. While these are the very fast no nonsense baristas that I was used to they are pretty good here. read more

Nice little shop. Not crowded and it was sufficiently staffed when I went in the afternoon. One of the few donut places open after morning. My kid wanted a Charlie (D'Amelio) drink and they knew what it was and even helped flavor it to the right strength/liking for my kid. I know a lot of folks want local, but there's some beauty in going to a franchise where you know what you'll get even if it may be of slightly lesser quality. read more

Usually love Dunkin and usually this location. Went to pick up food at the drive through and was behind another vehicle for what seemed like forever. They finally drove off. I get to the microphone and silence. No on says anything. I give up and go inside. I inform the girl with the head set that the speaker must be broken. Would have been better to tell me the bagel was burnt in error and offer an apology as well as an alternative like donuts or my money back. This is for mobile orders. Just don't do it. I tried 5 different times and either the order is way wrong when I get there, or they don't even start working on it until I show up 10 minutes later... and it's still wrong. Today I thought I'd give it one more try. I was very pressed for time and this order was for clients. I order and pay on the app and show up 10 minutes later. They hand me 1/8th of my order. I wait for the rest , and a worker came back and wondered why I was still there. I told her almost all my order is missing. She checks my ticket. Then asks me what I ordered. I pull out my phone and list everything on my order....SERIOUSLY WHY DID I ORDER AHEAD. She tells another worker I need more things. The worker rudely says "well did she order it??" Right in front of me. 30 minutes after submitting my order I finally get everything and I'm late to my meeting. So... beware. Don't try and save time by ordering ahead. Sadly the service here has gone downhill in the past year. We used to go every Saturday as a family breakfast sort of thing. My husband always gets a bagel with butter. We got our order and he opened it up. Both bagels (one for him and one for our son) had cream cheese. So he went back, showed them the receipt that said butter and said they made it wrong. We waited again, couldn't figure out what was taking them so long. Again they handed him 2 bagels with cream cheese. At this point our son was getting upset and so were we. I asked for the manager who tried to tell me that my husband had told them the bagels were supposed to have cream cheese. If the bagels were supposed to have cream cheese why would he have exchanged them the first time? They were incredibly rude about it and insulting to us. The other week my husband decided to brave the drive thru to bring me home something. They screwed up the entire order and even left food out. New management is subpar to say the least. The previous managers before these current ladies, were so kind & provided fast service. The two new ladies that just started do not greet anyone, let alone smile. It's so apparent they don't want to be there so I'm confused why they chose to work in food service. The employees, however, are very sweet & try their best. It just sucks they have to be under such poor management. One of the new managers gave me whipped cream instead of cold foam this morning. This is a great spot for super fresh donuts and Dunkin Donuts' famous donut shop coffee. They even sell the k-cups for the Keurig! Being a large chain, Dunkin has the capability to make fresh donuts all day long, and to close at 9pm, opening early in the mornings. This location on Poplar near Forest Hill Irene has a drive-thru, which is fortunate, because seating inside is limited to about 20 bodies. A great place to drive through for breakfast as a special treat for the kiddos on the way to school. Service here is ALWAYS polite and friendly (but not overly so). Free wireless, fairly clean restrooms, with a full breakfast menu available, including the yummy vegetable egg white flatbread sandwich for a dose of protein and whole grains, coffees, juices and milk. A customer coffee card can be requested, with a buy _ get 1 free stamp system. May I also note that I am not a fan of chain restaurants in general, and Dunkin has to be getting it completely right for me to five-star such a big company! read more

This was an awful experience! I went to the register and ordered a medium dark roast. She rang up medium decaf. I saw what she did and corrected her. She tells me it is dark roast. Well....I can read and it said decaf. Finally we get that straightened out. Then I ordered a dozen donut holes. Here is where the snowball started rolling. I see her pouring my coffee. She is literally turning the pot upside down which means I am getting the very last drops. That means only a cup of liquid was sitting on the burner which generally means the coffee has been cooking. Well, I was right. The coffee tasted burnt. Ok now for the donut holes. They literally tasted like they came of the grocery shelf. No freshness to them at all. I do understand that they do not cook them in store but their product used to be at least decent. The coffee was awful and the donut holes were equally awful. I do not plan to go back to Dunkin Doughnuts . There are far better places to get coffee and donuts. My food wasn't even mediocre, it was BAD! read more

First off... I've been going to Sarbucks until I boycotted them. I decided to go to DD at this location. I get a order (veggie egg white flatbread no cheese extra egg and a maple bacon on English muffin no cheese or egg). Pretty easy. Well, they get it wrong every time. I say, "no big deal. First time." Today was pretty bad... They put cheese on my flatbread and egg and cheese on the maple bacon sandwich. I talked to the manager and she said "they are in training". I have been coming every day for weeks and they keep getting my order wrong. I guess they will be in training forever. I said "I just want you to know so the employees will get the order right for the drive thru customers because they don't have the time for your employees to remake their food again." The manager said "If its wrong, tell me and we will make it again." The orders should ALWAYS BE RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Also, the coffee is wrong too. This place is great. Not gonna lie, getting fresh doughnuts can be a coin toss, but as long as you know when to go (and what to order if you go another time), you're good. The earlier you go the better. Later in the day it's like any doughnut place that closes, they stop making some doughnuts so they're sitting out getting stale. By that point stick to the popular varieties (and avoid any cake doughnuts unless you know they're fresh) and you're fine. I like this place. It's fast and friendly, and the store is clean. 95 on the health department score sheet. Of all the DD in town, this one is in the nicest area and definitely feels the safest of all of them. Coffee, donuts, and breakfast foods are all typical of a well run DD store with better prices than Starbucks. If you want to grab a quick breakfast and coffee to go this is a solid option. I'm very torn....I am a DD French Cruller fan and when they are fresh, they are ridiculous. Best things on the planet. But getting a fresh one here is a rare occasion. They usually seem at least a day old, sometimes worse. Dry and just not good. The croissants on the sandwiches are stale often also. It is like Russian roulette on what you are going to get. What happened? When I first started eating at this location it was great but I have been disappointed so many times that I have just stopped going. The location on Hwy 64 and on Whitten is the same way. The only place I can get fresh French Crullers is the location in East Memphis on Poplar. 3 days in a row they were fresh and awesome!! The Boston Cremes are generally always good though. I think they hold up better or something. I've had them at night and they are still good. But I got a French Cruller at night recently and it had to be several days old. It was hard and dry and I was offended that they actually served that thing to me. read more
