Unfortunately, several other dishes missed the mark. The dumplings were overly salty, and the chicken and dumplings had very little chicken in it. Two people in our group ordered meatloaf dinners, and the portions were surprisingly small compared to what Cracker Barrel used to serve. It honestly felt like portion sizes had been reduced. We originally ordered the s'mores skillet dessert, but were told they didn't have the items needed to make it, which was disappointing. One thing I also noticed was that the suggested tip amounts on both the Cracker Barrel app and receipt appeared to be calculated using the total after sales tax instead of the pre-tax subtotal. They need to fix that. The restaurant itself was clean. Overall, the service saved the experience from being worse, but the food quality and value just weren't there this visit.
