Ahh the ever inconsistent (yet most convenient) Dunkin. This is one of those places that can be incredibly efficient with cars making it through the drive though quickly and high accuracy on your order. It can also move as slow as molasses and be out of a lot of key things. Their bagels never seem fresh. They always seem dry and hard regardless of the time of day when they are ordered. There is also a huge inconsistency on how much cream cheese is used. There are times I think I could put cream cheese on three additional bagels and still have enough and there are times where I wonder if they forgot the cream cheese there is so little there. (my kids always want their bagels which is why I even ever still order bagels from here). All that being said, the staff is almost always friendly, especially in the morning when it could be easy to be grumpy because of how crazy busy it is. The store and the parking lot always seem well maintained as well. I wish there was another closer dunkin, but honestly, from what I've heard the experience might be pretty similar even at a different location. read more

Reviewing purely because every time I stop here they are overly helpful and overly friendly - which makes for a pleasant experience. It's Dunkin' so you know what you're getting in terms of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, or coffee - but this one is truly "service with a smile" every time I go. This Dunkin' may be my favorite in the area. Not only is the service consistently good, but the food never ever disappoints. It's a great hangout spot and I just love coming here because the workers are good people. You can tell they work hard and they always make you feel welcome. Only once have I ordered a coffee that they did not make correctly, but when I went in and told them, no questions were asked and they gave me a new one free of charge. So, even when mistakes are made, which is inevitable, they are quick to fix the issue! Today I ordered an small Iced Tiger Latte. This is their newest beverage and it is addicting! It's pretty sweet tasting with a lot of caramel and a bit of a toffee flavor. I also ordered my usual which consists of a Turkey Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich with an English Muffin. When it comes to chain shops, consistency can vary greatly depending on the location it is in. I would absolutely recommend the pumpkin donuts, they are simple with a nice twist. The apple cider donuts are not my style, the flavor somehow reminds me of alcohol and my tastebuds did not enjoy that. I'm absolute Dunky Junky due to the fact their coffee always touches my soul. I stopped on 2/27 on my way to a meeting in Pittsburgh. They were naturally busy on a Tuesday around 10:00. We're needing our midmorning boost by then. I ordered my coffee via app (best creation, wish more people would use it. Especially those who order massive orders at the drive through call box). It must be noted that this location has a Sunoco gas station attached to it as well. Which in turns causes nightmares. Imagine if you will a busy coffee shop, with a drive thru, no parking spaces and four gas pumps all jammed into this tiny lot. Now imagine it all trying to work together unison. It simple just does not happen. Attempting to get to the pumps is hard enough, but when you are competing with the traffic coming out of the drive thru, forget it. People seem to become even more inconsiderate when they don't get their caffeine on time. A return trip here will not happen for me anytime soon. If I need gas, I'll go up the street a bit further. As for coffee, I don't drink it, so I don't need to rush in here for that. read more

What is happening with Dunkin Donuts? I would buy donuts for my office. Folks would feel fight for the Apple Fritters! They were so thick and filled with big chunks of sweet, soft apple! Tasted like home made!! But, lately, they have been day old or stale, and not many, IF any chunks of apples,e especially when I get them on Rte. 22 or on Liberty Avenue near West Penn Hospital. But recently, I got nice fresh ones on Rte. 22. I was hoping it was thick and juicy apples were in my future. But I did not find even ONE chunk of apple on the big, thick hunk of icing coated dough. Just a couple areas with apple flavored paste on the dough,s in the middle of the doughy hunk of crap. It had more icing on the outside, almost too sweet to eat, but I found NOT ONE CHUNK OF APPLES!!! I am NEVER buying from Dunkin Donuts again! I am a fan of the double D's, especially during the fall and winter seasons where they offer my all-time favorite cup o' Joe the Pumpkin Coffee. Oh it is yummy. My last visit there I went to the location in Murrysville which is a lot different than other locations as it is attached to a gas station, and does have a small lot. However, it was about 87 degrees outside and after 12pm so the place was not busy. I was in and out with my medium cappuccino, skim milk, and sugar free French vanilla flavor. Did I mention it was 87 degrees out and my AC in the car doesn't work too well? I immediately regretted my decision. Oh well I sweated it through, and drove to meet a friend for a day at the pool, #Savior! I usually never get a bad cup of coffee from here, and honestly it was the first time I got a cappuccino from any Dunkin, but I wasn't swooning over my cappuccino. I didn't taste any French vanilla syrup and it was pretty strong for a cappuccino, seemed more like an espresso. Typical Dunkin' which is always great with the added bonus of friendly staff and fast service. The drive through line can be a total cluster, however, as there's a Sunoco gas station attached in front which competes with the same driving/parking space. If you are there getting gas you can get stuck waiting for the drive through line to move so that you can leave. The same goes for anyone trying to park and run inside for DD. That being said, when the drive through line is super long it still moves incredibly fast. read more

I have visited dunkin donuts in many locations. I have been a resident of murrysville for several years and i have to say THIS IS THE BEST RUN FRANCHISE of Dunkin Donuts that I have ever experienced. When you go through the drive through it is fast and efficient. Your order is normally ready when you pull up to the drive through window and I've never been told... sorry we're out of that. I come to this location anywhere from 2-5 times per week. I'm somewhat of a regular, but always forget to "check in". There's a few things to know about this location: 1. DO NOT COME ON SATURDAY MORNINGS...unless you have plenty of time. Dunkin' is always extremely busy on Saturday mornings. I have seen the drive through backed up around the parking lot to Rt. 22 and the line at the door on Saturdays. 2. This location is combined with a Sunoco gas station, but it is not a convenience store. It is the full on Dunkin' experience. 3. They have recently hired a LOT of new workers. Service isn't slow per se, but a lot of the new workers are teenage/early twenties and lack people skills. Big time. Before they hired new people, I had a pretty good relationship with the workers. Now most of the time I order my coffee and go because the newbies aren't much for establishing relationships, even if it is just over a cup of coffee. 4. Kari/Kerrie (spelling?), Nicole (I'm afraid she doesn't work there anymore) and Jen are the nicest, friendliest people that work there, and they make good coffee! I always enjoy talking to Kerrie in particular. She's always friendly. There's also a younger blond guy who is nice and makes good drinks, but I've never seen his name tag. 5. Yes, the dining area is a little messy. There's usually a few dirty tables and some debris on the floor from the morning rush, but every time I've been there during a lull, someone is out in the dining area tidying up. They're just busy. 6. Order a medium Iced Cold Brew with 3 cream and 2 pumps of caramel swirl...it's delicious. Or, if you're craving the seasonal Butter Pecan, get equal parts hazelnut and caramel in your drink. Most of the standard drinks are too sugary and milky for my taste, so I always get one less pump of syrup or cream in my drink, and it's perfect. 7. If you ever see a group of men sitting in the back of the dining area, do yourself a favor and hang out. They are the most interesting people in Murrysville, from their opinions on Donald Trump to Pizza. 8. Kids get a free donut or a few free donut holes at this location. 9. They have the best hashbrowns, but if you like them crispy, ask for them to be toasted a bit longer. Delicious. read more

I moved my family from Arizona to the East Coast this summer. On our last day of travel, we stopped here for breakfast. The service and food was great. The only strange thing is that there was a man on the other side of the counter, sitting on the counter were food and drinks were set. I asked another employee if the manager was available, and she pointed out the man who was sitting on the counter as he. Since then, when I am in Pittsburgh, which is often, I stop at this Dunkin Donuts in Monroeville. It has good service, good food, and great memories; except for the manager who I once saw sitting on the counter. read more

Dunkin Donuts in general have really good coffee at a more reasonable price than places like Statbucks, but this location is exceptional. read more

The donuts are unreal and I had potentially the best cold brew coffee I've ever had in my life here. Maybe it's someone's version of a demented joke, like "hey let's make this Dunkin' Donuts the pinnacle of donut and coffee perfection and confuse people as to how it's so good." But instead of revealing the joke instead they just continue to be excellent. They gave me a free dozen of donuts one time just for being a human being and that "they didn't want them to get stale." However on the night that i went our bill was 6 dollars for what was suppose to be a small orange smoothie and a coffee. The staff defiantly messed up something there, but at 1:00am it was too late for a car full of college kids to recognize the mistake. The cold brew is equivalent if not better than any competing Starbucks or neighboring coffee shops, and the donuts are consistently fresh and delicious. The service is always very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
