Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. I had a medium to dark roast that was out of this world from Guatemala. The Barista was so helpful in helping me select the perfect blend after I explained what I like in coffee. The blueberry and chocolate chip scones where delicious and they had other bakery items such as muffins and breads. They put them on a grill when we asked if the scone could be heated so good. The icing on the cake or should I say scone was Brittany singing and Gabe playing his acoustic guitar. They were so talented and humble. Just the coffee alone was an amazing treat! I am such a coffee snob and there coffee is by far the best I have had in CT what a wonderful treasure. A great way to spend Sunday Funday!
