Have not tried Dunkin in a long time. It was near Central Market on Coit. Donuts were ok. Nothing like Shipleys, Krispy Kreme or your local small Mom and Mom Donut place. Those places must have yeast type donuts and taste fresh. Dunkin was more dense and cake like. Perfect for dunking into coffee. I got a Bavarian Creme and another creme filled but it was so small, and after two bites, "Where is the filling". Breakfast sandwich was weird;egg,bacon and two tator tots. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My coffee was nothing special. Years ago Dunkin got rave reviews for coffee[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I think your average 7-11 has better coffee. Not sure if true or not, but heard donuts are not baked or prepared on site. This might explain why they tasted the same. Bought some glazed and chocolate frosting too. I spotted Curt Vz First to Review about a month ago and this new location has been on my radar since. I'm somewhat disappointed Curt V didn't review any of the food offerings since that's what Yelps about. So,I'll help Curt out here and mention the donuts. They are Dunkin Donuts right? Ironically Curt V figures into this more than he realizes. He's been tromping around this area for decades, especially Richardson. So,he probably remembers the old school Dunkin on Spring Valley. Back then I would stop there and get one Boston Cream and one Bavarian cream. My two favorite and unbeatable late night snacks. Yes late night. They used to be open 24/7 and made donuts every couple of hours. Y'all probably remember the TV ads. They were famous. Jump forward to today's incarnation. I wandered in and was amazed at the new Dunkin. An entire wall of coffee machines sparkling and ready to go. Breakfast sandwich 24/7,nice. Bagels,got em. Then as almost an afterthought,there's a small donut display case. The staff was very nice and during my discussion I learned,the donuts are no longer baked on site! That's right. They are shipped frozen,thawed and decorated. That explains a lot and I'm glad I uncovered that bit of Dunkin Operational Magic(DOM)! Bottom line. The donuts are just ok. Nothing special as in the past. But,here's where I have to give them credit. In the last 20 years as they were slowly dying and headed for the scrap heap,they reinvented themselves. They've manifested as a quick stop for the modern era with ( according to many respected Elites) excellent coffee,breakfast sandwiches and if you have to donuts. First time at Dunkin in years. I thought it was fine but nothing really blew me away. Some AMEX cards now have a monthly statement credit if you go to Dunkin so I gave it a shot. I had read that the donuts are not made in house here - shipped to the store - so I skipped those. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone always talks about the coffee so I got a hot coffee with cream and sugar and it was alright. The sweetener or the creamer tasted somehow very artificial.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe I need to drink it black and put my own sugar in it (I like sugar in the raw). I also got a sausage and egg croissant and I did like the fact that it was really hot. However the flavor of everything was just average. If I'm going to eat a fast-food breakfast sandwich my thing is the BOB at Whataburger which I feel is quite flavorful: the sausage and cheese and egg are seasoned well and the bun is usually nice too. So all in all- nothing blew me away although the woman who made the drinks and the gentlemen who prepared the food items were really friendly and it was a clean, new store. I need some suggestions on what other people love getting here and I'll give it another shot! read more

Without naming names, another location fell through on an order for a work Christmas party. In a time crunch, Elizabeth and her team made 8 gallon hot chocolate travelers to save the day. Elizabeth and her team worked quickly and provided excellent customer service from the positive encouragement to get the order fulfilled, to helping me get everything to the car. I love Duncan as they are now called, Though in my mind, they will always be Dunkin' Donuts. I suppose they change their name because they are so much more than donuts these days. They are a regular coffee bar, sandwich, bar and donuts as well as everything else they have always been. This new location in Plano close to Coit Road and George Bush is their newest store that I know of. It is a small store, but big on spirit. They were friendly, upbeat, staff that is handling things very efficiently as they prepare for their official grand opening On January 20. read more

I've been to this location three times now. Each time, the employees have been extremely friendly and welcoming. The donuts have been fresh and delicious, even when we bought them in the evening. We ordered on the app each time, just getting a regular assortment. On my third visit, the employees made a point of telling me that four of the donuts they normally include in the assortment weren't available and let me pick the replacements myself rather than just swapping them out without telling me. Ordered on the kiosk. The workers did not mention they were out of 6/7 donuts we ordered. One of which was "specialty" so was overpriced. They made us pick 6 random donuts that were leftover. (Cheaper than what we paid for because they weren't specialty). We also ordered 1 croissant sandwich and they did not have croissant, and subbed it with a bagel instead. Did not offer any refunds. What is the point of leaving the items on the kiosk and not mentioning it was unavailable BEFORE we paid? read more
