This was the worst coffee I have ever had from a Dunkin donuts it was closer to hot water than coffee. I would have rather burnt coffee than the dish water they served. Also they couldn't even get my order correct when ordering and paying for a double sausage egg and cheese I got a single. At 1:05pm on 12/16/21 I went to the drive thru at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street Portland, Ct. Store number 307036. I order one drink and one drink only and I do it multiple times a day at multiple area DD's. I am a loyal tea drinker and my wife drinks coffee. We spend at least $30 per day at Batista Co. owned DD's. We understand how things work. Things are not always optimal. New employees. Trainees. Short staffing. Busy on top of those things. We get it. I am a very patient guy and never give new employees a hard time. Ever! I rarely speak out even when the employee is not new. Even when things are wrong. Which happens. Sometimes too often. But that is another thing altogether. When ordering my Xlarge hot tea with five cream and seven Splenda, I could tell that the gentleman taking my order was new. It was obvious. No problem. Let him know exactly what I want and wait for him to punch it up correctly on the screen. No issues. When he mentioned to me something about green tea I simply said No, black. Black tea. He entered the order of a black tea. I then reminded him of the Splenda and cream. That is when a woman broke in and rudely said that it isn't black if I have those two things in them. Ok? I tried to tell her that I wanted black tea bags because the other guy mentioned green tea. I have had green tea bags put in my tea before so I wanted it known that I wanted black. Simple. When we got to the window the woman was there and telling me that he just started, still acting rudely, and again mentioned that black would be without the cream and Splenda. I'm not sure what she didn't understand about wanting black tea bags and not green even after I told her that directly. I was treated like garbage and she made it seem like I was coming down on the new employee. No. I wasn't at all. I even mentioned to him when he brought my tea, which was the wrong size, that he had done nothing wrong and that I was talking to the other woman about the tea bags and that SHE was the one that was in the wrong, not HIM. Her name on the receipt is Stephanie. Stephanie was rude and made me feel like a total jerk when all I was trying to do was make it clear that I wanted black tea bags, not green. Simple. Simple made difficult by a difficult employee. Whether I spend 3 dollars a day or 30 dollars a day, shouldn't make a difference. I expect to be treated a lot better than that. Not special, but just like a customer should be treated. We make that operation possible. No customers, no money. Simple. I don't often complain about anything, even when it really ticks me off, like this did. So please remind Stephanie that if she is going to train an employee, she might want to show him a better way to treat people. If the employee is not Stephanie, I realize that sometimes employees use other employees' numbers, then I apologize. But my receipt number is 4032. I just want it known that she was rude, the trainee was not and in the end my tea was the wrong size. So I was treated like garbage and still didn't get what I ordered. Not cool at all. I come to this location often. This morning I was extremely disappointed. I ordered Two everything bagels, toasted. I ordered a hot tea. When I got home I realized that my daughters everything bagel was two bottom halves and no top halves. My everything bagel had a top and a bottom but also had a giant black burnt spot on the side. When I went to drink my tea, even though there was a teabag in it, clearly someone had started to pour coffee into it because it tasted like coffee and tea mixed together. It was disgusting. All in all, very disappointed. They need to get their act together. read more

Horrible. Just horrible. My son and I went on a Saturday through the drive through. Two simple orders, which they got completely wrong. One latte and one coffee with a little bit of cream. Wrong sizes, wrong coffee. They overcharged me, then after paying I realized it. The store was all teenagers who could not figure out how to do a refund. They called the manager (who was not physically there) and could not reach her. It took forever. They couldn't process a refund for the overcharge! The teens were super nice and apologetic, but very clearly at a loss as to what to do. I asked for the manager's phone number. I left two messages and never heard back. I do not blame the teens. I blame the management. Train your workers properly so you don't leave some poor teenagers ill-equipped to deal with an issue like this. And if you do, at least ANSWER YOUR PHONE when they call you because they're having an issue so you can help them fix it. Or maybe return one of my calls? Ridiculous. I will have to be hard pressed for coffee to go back to his particular location again. What terrible management. read more

I love the staff here, they are so nice. This is the only dunkin I trust to not mess up my order. The girls at the window always make my day, I've never been to another drive through at any fast food chain where the employees were so amiable. Definitely a trustworthy dunkin. Today was a terrible experience for my family at the Portland CT Main Street Dunkin Donuts. There was a long line in the drive through, so I decided to go into the restaurant to order my kids breakfast before sending them off to school. I ordered quickly at the counter and then proceeded to watch the train of cars go through the drive-through, after 4 cars past the one I would have been behind (if I didnt go inside), I decided to share my frustration with the manager - the drive through was getting precedent regardless when the orders were taken. I ordered three bagels, toasted, nothing too extravagant. Single orders were getting passed over me inside as well, assuming I made them mad regarding the poor service. Once I got my order, it was missing items and to say the least, I will not go back there again. Manager and several staff were rude and should take a course in customer service. read more

as and ex-employee and a frequented customer, this dunkin donuts is very poorly managed and taken care of. they have a bad habit of continuously firing people and hiring new kids that do not care about the company. they put one person on the night shift to clean all machines and attend to the customers at the drive threw and in the lobby. they close at 11 pm and there are two bars that share the same parking lot at them. they are very cheep and will not add a second worker for the night shit to help close. (the stress from this was part of the reason i don't work there any longer) This dunkin donuts needs a new manager and assistant manager and most of the crew members would be able to do their jobs more efficiently. they do have wonderfully tasting beverages, donuts, sandwiches, and everything else, but that's because they over work the staff and pay them very little. my heart goes out to them. this review was written in hopes that people will see this company for what it is and will help make a difference for the people doing the things i had to do in the past. P.S. when i worked there, the begining i watched a video and played a simulater for a half hour before being thrown into the mix of things, and less than a week later i was alone for five hours and closed by myself. the managers expected me to learn all the tasks and duties, that i was now required to complete, on my own, read more
