Wood paneling, old hard chairs and a tiny dining room with a small counter with barstools. Met a coworker here for breakfast before work, and we had a nice breakfast. Did the classic two eggs over way, rye toast, bacon and home fries. All of it was perfectly done diner style. On the way out we threw in a couple half dozen donuts.. all of which were delicious yet light yeast donuts that tasted like they were made fresh daily. While we were eating breakfast there was a constant separate line out the door for the donut counter. I'd eat here more if I lived in the area. Nice job team Speedy! In a town that has no shortage of cafes and pick-me-ups, Nova faces some stiff competition. Let's break it down. The building it's in looks almost like a house. If one were to look at it at first glance and not know any better, they might think it was someone's home. This is further evidenced by the fact that the porch looks homey, and the front door looks like what a front door might look like for something as assuming as a house. You have a ramp you could walk up on if you towards the back a little on the left. Even steeping inside, you could mistake this for a house in a vacuum of space. Only the order booth gives a clear indication that this is a cafe. But this just goes to show just how well they pull off the cozy, homey vibe. It feels like the kind of place where you could cook a batch of homemade chocolate cookies, serve it with some nice, cold milk, and we'd have a feast. The people who do work here are nice and helpful as well. So why the four? Well, even though the panini-pressed melt I had ordered was great and the bread it was on had a great crisp to it, you have to remember that there are a lot of cafes in Wilton. Because of this fact, this place needs to have something that makes it stand out in terms of what they have on menu, and so far the only thing that truly stands out is the ambiance. I do want to come back and try their other stuff, and I did enjoy the Mocha Madness I had from them. It's still a fair bit out of my way, so I don't know how often I will be able to come back, but I do want to give their other items a try.

Tables are for no more than 2 people (max!). But there are a few tables outside along Main Street and you might be able to snag an extra chair for a trio business meeting, or so. As has been noted, Tazza Cafe has lots of delectable sweets, baked goods, croissants, sandwiches, paninis, cookies, stuffed items, salads and Italian noisette biscotti to dunk in that Java! All the items are neatly (and I mean in rows :) ) displayed behind luminous glass. The items are not marked by name and price, which is a bit of a stumper for normal customers (I can tell by experience) - but in my book it's okay if they rotate items periodically or change their places depending on what is selling that week. Two gals were running the bar-high railed table: one was nocking out the orders and payments, the other was running the espresso machine. My order was a double Espresso and a sweet Linzer Tart (I always get them since my Grandmother used to spoil me with them). The coffee station however was a mismatch of space for local papers and news taking up the space for cream and milk and syrups (which was oddly missing). The interior fits the town of Ridgefield. Upper-scale. Suave. Lots of mirrors and glass and black surfaces. This is no riff-raff shop like out in Cali! At first I thought it may be a *chicks-preferred* type of puppy-pink peony-kale & baby food smoothie-type coffee shop, but NO there were groups of dudes languishing in chairs with cigarettes and lattes taking a break. Arrived at 9am and there were 8-9 customers. One thing: that entrance door is tough. Weak armed elderly customers with not much strength had trouble yanking it open from outside. I highly recommend this location will be back as long as they stay open. They are taking precautions due to Covid-19. There is no sitting area.
