This location can definitely be ridiculously slow at times but since I live down the street from them and work from home it's easy for me to go during less busy hours. I go about twice a week and never had a bad drink made. I usually get the frozen coffee or an iced caramel macchiato. However, I did try the tater tots And they were nasty as hell. Like they were cooked in last weeks grease? Only tried them since they were .99 cents. I've never had any issues with customer service, they're usually pretty nice in drive thru. I don't mind them being brief as long as it's not being rude. I don't do mobile orders any more cuz it's a hit or miss if the dining room will be open and the times I had gone in it would say my order is ready at the pick up area but I'd still be waiting for it to be made. I noticed last time I was there they had a sign in the drive thru stating what they were out of, which is good, but at the same time I'd be pissed if I was to wait in line 40 mins to finally get to the sign and see that the one thing I wanted isn't available. read more

I've only had Dunkin' once which was in Boston. My experience there was lovely since I usually go to local donut shops but wanted to see what the hype was about. This time, I wanted to try their other donuts a try to see if it compares. I decided to try out their apple fritter, vanilla creme, and regular glazed. I ordered through doordash so maybe if I went there myself then it would've been better. Upon arriving, the apple fritter seemed a bit flat and the glazed reminded me of those grocery store self-serve donuts you can pick up for a quick craving. the vanilla crème really saved it all, I wasn't expecting much since I don't enjoy donuts with a filling but this one tasted like pillsbury buttercream frosting. the exterior is powdered sugar and the dough was soft and delicate. I finished the vanilla crème fairly quickly and decided to just leave the glazed donut and apple fritter alone after my initial bites. Wouldn't come here again if I'm looking for yummy donuts, but I would definitely stop by if I was in the area and wanted a vanilla crème again! read more

My first time visiting, very disappointed with their ice coffee. I ordered a Sunrise... iced, that what it said "iced only", and its merely a glass of ice water with colour, tasteless. Moreover, they only have a hugh menu high up to tbe ceiling, with extra small letters, that I hope I have a binoculars. Horrendous waste of time and money. Super annoyed with this location. First time I went the manager was so unbelievably rude! I asked for an iced cappuccino with no ice and she lost her mind. Saying that was impossible since that's a blended drink and asking "do you even know what a cappuccino is? Are you experimenting with something new or something". She went on to laugh with all the other workers about this so i just changed my order and let it go. Went once again when it said store was open at 5am but when I got there was told by the baking team there are no employees until 630. I ended up late to work because I had to wait since I had already placed and paid for the order. On another occasion 1 of my donuts was missing. Today was the worst. I ordered 3 large lattes and all 3 were wrong. I didn't realize until I got home but none had the added flavoring. They were just plain coffees. The 2 vanillas and the 1 hazelnut all tasted the EXACT same. Also the Apple fritter was missing AGAIN. I can't drive back again as this is an absolute waste of more money and my time. Keep in mind I only started going to this location in late November and have only been a handful of times, never without an issue. Also there is NEVER a line or more than 3people in the store so busy is not an excuse. Update: This store still hires morons. I went through the drive thru and the employee charged me for the person in front of me by accident. She proceeded to refund me and charge me for my order but before she did that, I asked her if she needed my discount card again (because she used it with the last order that wasn't mine) she said no it was okay. I thought she did it manually. I look at my receipt and see that I wasn't given my discount. I go back to ask about it and she said she can't use the discount for my order because it was already used on the first order THAT WASNT MINE. She said you can only use it once per day. Sitting in the drive through line this morning and after about 10 minutes I decide to park and go inside, since I've never been inside. I walk in and there's a line with a few people waiting. The guy at the register tells me sorry the lobby is closed. I ask why are there people inside and no sign or indication that the lobby is closed. I don't get an answer. Had to either get back in line at drive though or just leave. Put up a sign next time, don't decide the lobby is closed and assume everyone should know. read more

I gave this place 2 chances. My first order was just missing most of the items, so I can't really review it. Breakfast sandwich had wrong ingredients so I didn't like it. Bagel bites were okay but very small order for the price. And out of the two donuts I ordered, one was missing. The one that I got was just okay. Today I ordered again. I wanted to try the stuff that was left out of my order last time. I got a turkey sausage croissant which was not horrible but not great. McDonald's would have been better (and I don't even really like McD's). Hash brown bites were AWFUL. They tasted like they'd been reheated in an oven that had something burning in it. Like even tho they were soggy they tasted really burnt somehow. Mini pancakes didn't come with butter and they were also gross. Weird aftertaste. Like stale pumpkin spice or something? I couldn't quite place it. Donut was okay. I ate most if the croissant and most of the donut but I threw the rest out and don't plan to eat here again. Overall just yuck. Ordered a iced matcha latte. When asking about which donuts they had, they gave me a list. I chose then headed to the window. When I got to the window, they didn't have the donut that was listed. No biggie, things happen. I ended up just getting a jelly donut. When I got my drink, it wasn't fully mixed and lots of the matcha powder still sat at the bottom. Being from Chicago where Dunkin' was everywhere, I was looking forward to a new Dunkin' in Sacramento. Nice bright store and a drive-through. Plenty of seating but it was cold inside with the A/C blasting. Long line with just one cashier inside. Seems like places with drive-throughs (like Starbucks) is consumed with those patrons and service inside suffers. Plus it just makes everything more frenetic. Disappointing there was only maybe 8 trays of different donuts. Little variety. I ordered a dark coffee and the attendant did know what I meant. She muttered something about only the original blend which I ordered and then she asked if I wanted the dark? (HUH?? "Isn't that what I just asked you a minute ago?"). Then she kept asking how many creams (I was used to Dunkin' pumping in cream from a large container and when I asked what did she mean, she couldn't explain it. Finally she pulled out tiny little creamers. I asked for 4 but ended up needing another 3 just to turn my medium coffee lighter! (and the coffee was not overly strong). The cream is not half & half like Starbucks. It's a crappy synthetic creamer that actually said something like "20% real cream"!! So, the other 80% is chemical (think Coffee Mate and all the sugar and chemicals). Once I added them all you could take the skewed taste. Ended up tossing the coffee when I got outside. So before I actually got here I figured I'd give this place 3 stars because they're new and training/opening during Covid has to have been tough. However, as I sit here at the window I'm demoting my review to 2 stars. This is my third visit here (maybe fourth). The food and drinks are good, but the drive thru line is always long. I get that it's new and I get that the lobby has had to be closed for a while during Covid, but the line is 't long simply because they're busy. They're slooooooooowwwwww. At the speaker I waited a good several minutes before anyone even talked to me. Finally they say hi and I tell them I have a mobile order. "Okay, pull forward." No other details asked. Get to the window and they say something about only having some fruity drink (sorry to the person with THAT order). "Ummm, I'm confused - I had a latte." Scrambling employees look for a while and come back. "What did you have?" A latte and a sourdough breakfast sandwich. Several more minutes and I get just the sandwich. Several more minutes and, "what kind of latte? Sorry." All told, I think I was at the window about 10 minutes for two items (or however long it took me to write this). If you didn't get my mobile, just say that the first time! However, thanks for the extra large in place of the medium for the wait. Moral of the story: food and drinks are yummy. Never been disappointed with them. But if you're in a hurry, either get Taco Bell across the driveway or Starbucks across the street. read more

This place has the worst management and service. I pre ordered two boxes of doughnuts and a coffee this morning so I can bring them to work this morning. I waited 15 minute in the drive through since the front wasn't open and the girl gives me my coffee and forgets that I had doughnuts so now she takes 5 more minutes to construct my order. No apology. I don't know why I decide to go back later, because hey, mistakes happen. I come in around lunch time and order a coffee and bagel bites. There are 6 employees standing around doing nothing. They say their coffee isn't brewed and they will brew it and call me up when it's ready. Ten minutes later I come up to the counter and and they finally give me my bagels (which were raw by the way) and I tell them I am waiting for my coffee and three girls are chatting in the corner. They do not even ask me if I need help even though I made eye contact. Finally after a few minutes someone asks me what my order was and it turns out my coffee has been made and sitting next to the girls who are chatting it up this whole time. Where is the manager? This place is run by six sixteen year olds. This place is pathetic. I really was excited about coming since I'm from the east coast and Dunkin' is my favorite. read more

I figured there would probably be a very scarce variety of donut selection, which was true, but that was fine it was the evening time what did I expect. I ended up just ordering a iced mocha drink which is a pretty standard drink at any popular coffee place (Starbucks, Dutch bros, they all make it the same.) So I figured this would be the same as well. Well that was a big disappointment. I think the only good thing about it was the size was huge and it was cheap. I pull up and it's as if it's just ice and black coffee. I'm like "umm is it sweetened?" She says "yes!" I'm like it doesn't look like it.. like, please don't make me take this gross drink lol. So I ask if she can put some cream in it assuming it's sweetened, it just needs some cream. She says sure and goes to put cream. She hands it to me and it looks normalish now, and I don't wanna be that person so I go to drive off before trying it and it tasted so unsweetened I wanted to spit it out. Luckily there was no one behind me so I backed up and asked her to put sweetener in it as there was none. Problem solved but I truly didn't understand how this even happened when she told me it was sweet in the first place? Looking at the receipt, she basically charged me for a iced coffee with a "mocha swirl". If I could leave less stars I would - first tried to order donuts that were listed on the sign outside and I was told they haven't updated that sign in days. Then I asked to get regular glazed donuts she asked me how many - I asked how many they had she said "we don't have any regular glazed". I then said what do you have and from the choices she presented me I ordered 2 lemon filled , 5 old fashioned, 5 strawberry glazed. I got home to find 5 blueberry, 2 custard filled, and 5 strawberry glazed-more than half my order was wrong. It was horrible with a capital H service. Just a bunch of kids hanging around the window getting everything wrong and being rude. I'm from the east coast originally where we had the proverbial Dunkin' Donuts on every block. Unfortunately most of what was great about it is long gone. For one, they were run like clockwork, while there may be a long line inside or out, the service was incredibly fast and you were in and out quickly. Not the case out here, I've been to the Roseville, LA and Elk Grove and the wait was much longer than it should be whether or not the line was long. Two, the quality and variety of donuts is not good. Some of the best donuts on the east coast were the "Jelly Stick" - a crunchy/soft inside cinnamon cruller filled with raspberry jam and the glazed chocolate. Nobody out here even knows what a Jelly Stick is. Three, the coffee doesn't taste the same. It's clearly not sourced from the original source. Nobody even knows what a "regular" coffee means - no, it's not the size. So in sum, longer waits for less donut variety of lesser quality and different (but still decent) coffee. I also miss the somehow both rude and friendly attitude on the east coast which was something like "don't waste my time and I won't waste yours". read more

First have to say that I am from NYC and grew up on Dunkin Donuts. Was delighted to know one was opening close by. I even watched its progress throughout the height of the pandemic. With that said, most of what is served it good. There are new areas of food as well, which is great. My issue is that jelly donuts is a central staple of Dunkin Donuts. It is what they built their fame on. The jelly donuts were fine for awhile, however I bought one a few months ago and literally spit it out when I got to the jelly. What was that!!! I did not go back for a while, but recently did. I asked about the jelly before buying. The young man behind the counter knowledgeably said, "Strawberry." My head said...Whatttttttt!!!!! Strawberry!!! Yuk!!! What I know and love is raspberry/apple, which I believe is traditional. So my question. What the heck??? Is this a California thing? Can they not afford the correct jelly? I've been driving to Folsom for my Dunkin' fill but hearing they opened one so close was exciting! Except it's the biggest disappointment. Almost every time I've gone they've messed up my order. First ordering a coconut refresher and them not even putting coconut in it! Terrible experience! Waited almost 1 hour at the drive thru because walk-in pick up is still not open. Headed straight home after and when I opened the box, my dozen box had 5 donuts, and my half dozen box had 3 donuts. THE MANAGER (thin guy), I wasn't able to get his name coz he's not even wearing his name plate came near and checked my receipt and just told me the same thing that they don't have it and just turned his back on me without even trying to resolve it. So I ask the guy crew what am I supposed to do then if you guys don't have it I asked them if I could just get those chocolate munchkins coz THE MANAGER isn't even trying to resolve it. So the guy crew ask THE MANAGER and told him to give me 6pcs of munchkins in exchange of the 2 pcs of donut that I ordered. Before I left I was trying to tell THE MANAGER they are barely starting the store and they already got a bad service and he just keeps pretending and telling me he can't hear me. So I put down my mask and told him out loud they have a bad customer service and he is a bad manager. And he was just laughing at me like I was some kind of joke! such a terrible terrible first experience in this location of dunkin' donut!!! I don't think this MANAGER IS GOOD FOR THIS STORE not a neighborhood friendly to bring my family at.
