I ordered hash browns and 2 pcs of donuts only Strawberry Frosted Sprinkles to be exact coz they don't have much choices left. I was waiting for my order to be called for a good 15-20mins but no one is calling my order so i went in front coz i saw a bag hoping it was my 5orders of hashbrown and it was and I told the crew "where is my donut?" and they said they don't have what I want anymore but I told the crew the cashier that took my order said it was still available the time my order was taken. THE MANAGER (thin guy), I wasn't able to get his name coz he's not even wearing his name plate came near and checked my receipt and just told me the same thing that they don't have it and just turned his back on me without even trying to resolve it. So I ask the guy crew what am I supposed to do then if you guys don't have it I asked them if I could just get those chocolate munchkins coz THE MANAGER isn't even trying to resolve it. So the guy crew ask THE MANAGER and told him to give me 6pcs of munchkins in exchange of the 2 pcs of donut that I ordered. Before I left I was trying to tell THE MANAGER they are barely starting the store and they already got a bad service and he just keeps pretending and telling me he can't hear me. So I put down my mask and told him out loud they have a bad customer service and he is a bad manager. And he was just laughing at me like I was some kind of joke! such a terrible terrible first experience in this location of dunkin' donut!!! I was very eager to try this place being we don't have any in the area. Decided to take a morning trip and i got back home in the afternoon. We came around 9:40ish the line was pretty long there was only 1 worker taking orders car to car and through a headset. They had a little board out on display for what the options were for the day. Finally we got our order taken and were sitting in the drive thru for another 40-50 min. We had reached the window and i guess communication got lost through the headset because they asked us what we had ordered it wasn't ready to go. We got a peach refresher very watered down with almost no peach flavor. We also got an iced vanilla coffee with sweet cream foam which tasted more like creamer and iced, the drink had no vanilla no sweet cream foam. Lastly we got 6 donuts when we placed our order we told the worker which ones we wanted then got to the window and those options weren't available. So by the time we left the drive thru around 11am it was just disappointment and a waste of the morning. I think people wanted to try out the hype that we see of this brand on tv commercials, coffee brand selections at store. In the East Coast, they have as many Dunkin franchise as they do with Starbucks being everywhere, even more so. I had a 45 min wait. I think they should have waited till they fully open so people can walk in and order perhaps that would have lessen the long line. By the time you go to the menu, it's pretty must drinks and breakfast sandwiches. --Someone commented that they didn't put donuts on the menu, but it's there, a very small section on the lower right side. It can be missed. I don't like that they don't tell you what they have, so it's like playing 20/20, do you have jelly filled donuts'; no, do you have sprinkles' no, ok then what do you have??? so much for it being a donut place when they don't offer much! I got a berry powdered donut, and double chocolate donut, it was ok, would rather go elsewhere to be honest. I did order an ice latte drink and it was good. But not 45 min wait good. They don't take further orders at the window which i can understand, but at the same time, their menu is so condensed and everywhere that it takes awhile to gather what is to your liking. I was already frustrated with the limited selection of donuts, by the time I went to the window I thought of a donut that they should have and then they told me about not taking further orders even if it's one or two donuts. So Managers/owner of the store, if you are reading take these suggestions: -Make the menu more simple, for people to see and pick from; donuts should be on top not near bottom as that's why some to most people go for, offer what you have, even if it's just a daily thing, it gives customers an idea of what's offered rather than play the guessing game. -Have a second menu so that the person behind the car doing the order can have a better idea of what is on the menu and what to order. - I can understand 2 weeks of opening but after that, your store should plan ahead and make more donuts for those that come in late afternoon/evening orders, it isn't fun waiting for 45 min to be told that there's no donuts to their liking available. read more

3/24/24 around 1100 My husband and I were looking for Starbucks on Bruceville Rd on our way to Kaiser So Sac and I saw Dunkin' and I told him "this place is new let's try their Dunkin' coffee". It was a clean bright nice looking place when we entered so we decided we'd stay to try their donuts and breakfast sandwich. I reminded my husband to specify dark coffee when he places his order and he did. When he got it, it tasted bland so he asked the person who took his order if she gave him dark blend and she sternly responded " you didn't ask for midnight coffee, you just said small coffee", and did not offer to replace the coffee with dark blend. My husband then asked "so you're not going to replace it?" and she rudely said "all you have to do is ask!". First of all, how would we have known to ask for midnight coffee if it was our first time there, secondly, she could have offered to replace the coffee and not waited until my husband asks. I got up from my seat bec I did not like her tone of voice to her customer. I told her "I know he asked for dark coffee bec I reminded him" and her response was " are you two harassing me?". I told her she has very poor customer service that she just gave us a very unpleasant experience, all she could say was they were busy, and there wasn't even anyone behind us. I asked for her name, she told me she didn't have to give it to me, then sarcastically asked for my name. At that point we turned around and left. We've already heard too much rudeness from her all for just 1 small cup of coffee. There were 2 other ladies working with her and they remained quite the whole time so the rude one must have been the manager or lead person for the day. I was going to tell my friends about this new place but poor customer service like this does not deserve to be recommended. I love dunking donuts and I was so excited about the EK location. But, this location is disappointing. Hopefully, it will improve.

Firstly, I want to address the improvement this location has gone through. When I first paid this Dunkin' a visit, the donut selection was minimal at best. Long lines in both the drive-thru and inside, and when you actually did enter, the place was filthy. Dirty tables and a smudged, unfilled donut case to stand as the centerpiece of the store. I was underwhelmed to say the least. I promised myself I would wait till my second visit to write a review. Thank God I did. The moment I walked in today, I hear the staff greet me. "Good afternoon, welcome in!" Already different. Granted, the store was not busy, but seeing that it's been more than a month since the opening, it is to be expected. From reading these other reviews, I can only assume that the staff gained confidence or stability within themselves as a team. I did not see staff looking confused or distraught. If anything, put together. The place was clean and one of the staff was cleaning the tables as I walked in. What you've all been waiting for- donuts. The donut case was full today! I do not know if this is a daily occurence, but I was delighted to see it. Boston Cremes, Double Chocolates, Glazed...I ended up with a dozen for $13. Not bad. The donuts themselves could do some work. My glazed donut looked almost naked, not enough glaze. Overall, I have to say this place improved. In particular, ive had plenty of great experiences with Sham and Hayley! They're always so kind and customer service is phenomenal. So I decided to go to Dunkin after work this morning. I got in the line at 7:30am. I didn't get to the menu to order until 8:30am. Yea ridiculous. I wondered why it was such a long wait. I'll tell you. So the menu on the left has the drinks and the right has the breakfast sandwiches. I was there for donuts but couldn't see a menu for them. So I had to ask the lady. I was told that they don't post the donuts on the menu because the flavors change weekly. Um ok. So being there's no menu for flavors the lady has tell you them. That I figured was the hold up with the line. I think they could simply have a sign posted next to the menu, with the flavors of the week. Just a thought. So moving along I ordered 6 donuts. 2 blueberry glazed,2 original glazed, 1 Boston cream and an Apple fritter. As well as 3 sour dough breakfast sandwiches. I got to the window to pay. The cashier seemed frazzled. The girl who was bagging up the food seemed lost trying to read the screen. They were talking to each other on whether the donuts in the box were the correct flavors in the box. All the while the window is open. So I'm just sitting there waiting, looking. They get it squared and hand me my items. The doughnuts were heavy dough. I mean it tasted more of a bagel texture versus a light air doughnut you would expect. The glaze was sweet, but really thin. The sandwiches I feel they should offer some kind of condiments. The sandwiches were just egg, meat, cheese and bread. It was dry. The egg tasted as if it was microwaved. Not cooked fresh. Had to come home and add Mayo to it. I think the hype for this place isn't that great. Would I come back? Mm probably not. I honestly think the doughnuts from a mom &pop shop are better. Sold out of donuts, sold out of croissants, order a drink at one time and it came in small, medium & large then came back a different time and they want to sell me a small only because the machine wasn't making medium or large at the time. Out of Carmel syrup, out of medium cups. Employees have no sense of urgency and talk to much at the window to other employees about non work related stuff. Asked who the owner is and they don't know. I can't tell you how excited I was that Dunkin' was finally opening near me after years of waiting (don't want to drive to the Roseville or Folsom locations) but judging from other reviews on here many have has similar disappointing experiences as mine. Look, I am sensitive to the pandemic and sensitive to staffing issue that arise from it and the fact that they just opened a month or two ago. However, they seem to be fully staffed and they have been open for 6 weeks now, so the fact that every time you go you have to be ready to sit in the drive-thru (even if there's only a few cars) or wait inside (when there's only a few people in line) for upwards of 30 minutes is absurd. Also, I may be in the smaller percentage that want decaf but I'm gone in twice in two week and both times they haven't had decaf coffee. This is weird since they sell 1 pound bags of it in the lobby. The manager blamed it on delivery issues, but the coffee is one of the main reasons for DD's existence. Never once in 20 years have I gone into Starbucks (or any other coffee company) and been told they are out of regular OR decaf. I'm hesitant to go back again because I don't want to wait another half hour to be told they are still out of coffee. I would call but they don't have a number listened on the DD app or on Google. That seems odd, too. If the speed and quality of service as well as the product itself wasn't ready they shouldn't have opened yet. read more

I've been watching and waiting for few weeks for this location to open. I was looking forward to trying. I was disappointed unfortunately. I ordered a hot chocolate that tasted like water; didn't have any chocolate flavor at all. Had to come home an add hot chocolate powder. Also ordered a medium cappuccino. I ordered some glazed munchkins, chocolate bar, and a Boston cream donut for my husband and I to try. We really wanted to try the maple bar but they were out. The glazed munchkins were cakey and there was barely any glaze on it. It wasn't good. The chocolate bar was less than average. The Boston cream donut was the only good thing. Looks like everything is mediocre unless you add cream to it. If you want delicious donuts worth the calories, go to Marie's Donuts on Freeport. It is worth the drive. read more
