Stopped in here on our way home from soccer. When we walked in we liked the space initially as there is plenty of places to sit. We also noticed there were no other customers. We ordered a half dozen donuts, a smoothie, two coffees, and a croissant. The donuts and my black coffee were provided promptly. Coffee was too hot, but that's ok. We received the iced coffee for my wife shortly after the other part of our order. We sat in a nice area with some lounge chairs and a coffee table, which was perfect. We waited a little while for my son to get his smoothie. We started to enjoy our donuts and drinks when we were informed they were out of croissants. My wife asked for a plain bagel with cream cheese as an alternative. The bagel arrived after having it sliced and heated. My wife stated a strong jaw is necessary to eat the bagel. It was a good bagel, but very tough to bite and chew. Very strange. Overall it's another Dunkin Donut establishment. We would consider returning someday if there was no other place to go. We would not go out of our way to visit here. read more

I went to this Dunkin location on my way home from work this month. I have gone to this location multiple times before and have had AMAZING service from a girl with glasses and brown curly hair. The only downside is that the food was stale that day and tasted awful. The awful food took forever to make and I just wanted to get home after a long day from work to bring my kids donuts. If the girl that I had mentioned previously was working it probably would've been better customer service. I will not be going to this location anymore for that matter. The store was clean and bright, and a pleasant and competent employee was stationed at the register to take orders. They got my standard coffee and a very complex mix (to me, my daughter ordered it) in an iced coffee correct. Both the cruller and the blueberry cake donuts were on the dry side; the jelly was good. This is the second time I have driven through this location when they are out of a major component. I usually drive through here after leaving a night in Topsail and want a quick breakfast. Last time they were out of croissants. Today, they said they lie Grill wasn't working so you could only get a plain bagel with cream cheese. I do understand stuff happens and I will say that the lady who ran the drive through was extremely professional. The bagel itself was not good at all, though. Walked in and was greeted with a hello good morning! Love the attitude of the workers when I came in today! This is my first visit to this location and as all Dunkin Donuts it always smells good! lol I was in very much need of some coffee so I ordered a medium Blueberry coffee and the employee looked at me and said would you like that cold? My response was no I'll have that hot please. He had never heard of anyone coming in to have Blueberry coffee. Once I received my hot blueberry coffee he stated I will have to try that! lol The coffee was delicious along with my donut holes that I love! The location is great for this area and it is rather new and much needed. However, I just started working on Topsail and have made several stops here in both the morning and evening and each time I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that my drink tasted the same each time. Ordered their signature cocoa mocha coffee and there was no mocha in it except for the little bit drizzled on top. The doors going in were filthy, so I was a little worried about if anything was gonna be good or not. This is my first review on yelp and possibly maybe even my last. I am honestly angered by these reviews. Half of the negative reviews are based off of one interaction. How can you expect a fast food establishment not to make a mistake? I have been going to this dunkin donuts for about three years now and it is the BEST Dunkin' in my area. The workers are nice, just not really paying attention (ever). I only order sugar free coffee for health reasons. They try to kill me by giving me full sugar. I never order donuts or anything else. I just want a treat every now and then without fear of death. Yes, I am exaggerating. I will not die, but I will become very ill. This place will put day old stale donuts in the box and charge you for fresh. It happened to me. I took them back and demanded a refund after eating 1 and realizing they were old. To the franchisee - stop being so damn cheap. People deserve to get what they pay for. I went to this Dunkin many times during the past couple of years but I will not be back. By the way is sugar $100 per pound? Why the hell doesn't this location actually put some glaze on a glazed donut. There is very little glaze. Warning, This is a long complaint. I've been to this store 4 times while visiting in North Carolina. First time ordered a frozen coffee, one pump of mocha, no sugar added in their machine. Well, more than one pump of mocha and sugar was added. Excuse was, it comes out to thick if no sugar is added. I explained I'm diabetic and I know what my body can handle. They finally made it correct. Second visit my large hot coffee was perfect. One cream and one sugar. Third visit I ordered my large hot coffee again and someone must have heard extra sugar and small hot coffee. They made my large coffee with extra sugar, I didn't have time to go back so I just dumped it out. Fourth visit. Again I ordered my large hot coffee, one cream and one sugar. I parked in front of the vape shop next door because I was waiting for them to open(clean vape shop and amazing management. If you vape you need to try them out). I always stir my coffee, opened the lid and white chunks were floating. I stirred it and even more chunks were coming up. I went back through the drive-thru and asked for another large coffee 1 cream 1 sugar and no curds. The young lady asked me what I meant and I told her that there were chunks in my coffee. She tried to explain to me that sometimes happens when they put sugar and cream in the cup before they pour the coffee. Anybody that drinks coffee knows that is not the truth, that is bad cream. Someone else told me to pull forward and they would remake my coffee. They did remake my coffee and the gentleman at that approach the window sarcastically told me have a nice day. Once again I parked back in front of the vape shop and stirred my coffee. As I'm sitting in my vehicle talking to a friend on the phone this young lady comes out and asked me if there was a problem with my coffee. I told her not now, I'm waiting for the vape shop to open. She proceeded to ask if there was a problem with my coffee. I tried to explain to her what happened with my coffee and she kept interrupting me calling me baby. I told her politely not once but twice I am not her baby, she can call me honey, darling and dear but baby is disrespectful. She continued to interrupt while I was trying to tell her what happened with the coffee I politely ask her to leave me alone and go back in her store and she continued on. Finally I told her again to leave me alone and go back into her store I'm done. As she was walking away she continued to talk loudly, I told my friend on the phone, can you believe this she is continuing to run her mouth. This so-called manager turns around looks at me and tells me I am not welcome back in her store. I'm not the one who approached her and calling her baby and continue to speak over me, she's the one that approached me and after continual disrespect I just told her I was done to leave me alone and go back in her store. If this is the way customer service is run by their store manager, then it needs to be heard. I know I'm not the only one she has disrespected. I'm trying to figure out why a customer approached my vehicle to apologize on the managers behalf. I told the customer it's not her place to apologize. read more

The customer service at the Dunkin' donuts at Topsail Beach is absolutely laughable. Not only did they take 30 minutes to get our order, they were out of absolutely everything. We ask for frappuccino's and the guy says they don't have them, they have frozen coffee. Like are you an idiot? They're the same thing.
