Afterward, he Took ownership of my mistreatment and apologize. I appreciated it the way he handled it. He also asked for another opportunity to restore trust. I bumped up their review to three stars due to the way he handled the situation, and the respect he earned from me during that verbal transaction. He will be fixing a few things at my house, so I will update my review once that is all completed. Hopefully by the end of everything, I will have trust in the company once again for future projects which is all I wanted to begin with. It's the story of a harsh reality: this company would eventually throw me under the bus. They originally hired an outside crew who rushed through the entire project in one day, despite the Project Manager (PM) promising it would take a week. The work was incredibly messy; they ruined my house with their sloppiness. My floors and stairs were trashed, and my room looked like a child had painted it. They even cut off a section of flooring that was meant to stay and tried to hide it with tape so I wouldn't notice until after they left. When I asked the workers why they were in such a rush, they admitted they had another job the next day and just wanted to get mine out of the way. Additionally, while I have no proof, an external charger that never leaves my house went missing while they were here, another $50 lost. I also never received a refund for a part of unused flooring they took back. When I called to complain to my PM, Antonio, he fired the crew--rightfully so--and assured me he would fix it. However, he then tried to claim some of the issues were because I chose a darker paint color, suggesting he could have charged me for an "upgrade" but didn't. I told him that was no excuse; he never communicated any extra charges, and I had explicitly asked for permission to choose my own colors. I then had to wait for their "best" in-house guy, Theo. I waited a week for his availability, and while he did a great job cleaning up the paint in one of the rooms, that's when the run-around began. For over a month, Antonio would schedule Theo, only to call the day before (or the day of) to say he was no longer available. At one point, the PM tried to flip the script, saying the delay was my fault for insisting on Theo. I had to remind him that he was the one who recommended waiting for Theo in the first place. Finally, Theo showed up unannounced at 4:00 PM one day. Since I wasn't expecting anyone, I was hesitant to let him in until I realized who it was. Antonio hadn't given me any warning. After he worked that day, I told him to let Antonio know that I had already fixed the stairs and much of the upstairs myself because I couldn't wait any longer for them to correct their mistakes. He promised to return Tuesday to fix the trashed flooring downstairs and finish the upstairs. Monday came, and it was the same song and dance: the company had "more important" clients, and he was sent elsewhere. Antonio promised Wednesday instead. Tired of waiting, I fixed the flooring downstairs myself that night so it would have time to cure and I could finally get my house back in order. At this point, they should have put me on the payroll; I performed 2/3 of the repairs myself while still paying my bill in full. On Wednesday morning, Antonio called to say he was sending someone else entirely, because again Theo was not available after being sent to a more important job. This new person fixed the cut flooring and "fixed" the paint, but I still had to clean up after him because his attention to detail was severely lacking. During the final walk through, I told Antonio I just wanted them out of my house. I felt like Sandy in Grease: "You're a fake and a phony, and I wish I'd never laid eyes on you." Initially, a remediation company had come out and told me I'd have to rip out the cabinets due to water damage. I wanted a second opinion, so that is why I reached out to Matt. It was a pleasure speaking with him, for he is very knowledgeable of water damage. Matt really calmed my nerves. Our appt time was 9AM, and about a couple minutes after, I see his car pull up. I love when people show up on time. I've had bad experiences in the past where I sit, look out the window, and just wait for someone to show up at the scheduled time. Matt showing up on time really impressed me. He looked at the areas where they may be damage, and didn't find any moisture detected. He couldn't guarantee that there wasn't some water damage to where a drain leak was, but reassured me that at least inside the cabinets, and on the drywall, there was no damage. He was patient in answering my many questions, and made me feel more at ease about the situation. He asked that I send pictures of what's behind the stucco, once the plumber cut into it to fix the pipe, and that he would then give me a recommendation on how to proceed from there. I joked and told him hopefully I won't need to use his services, but if the worst case scenario became a reality and I did need the cabinets removed and drywall replaced, I know Matt would be the first and only person I call.

Little did we know the extent of the damages - we were told approx 2 weeks, but it actually took well over 12 weeks. Supervisor Kevin was unresponsive and repeatedly ordered incorrect cabinet sizes. He was big on not writing down measurements. Our home was in disarray for months. We were extremely happy to finally be able to use the kitchen in February 2021. The floor in the pictures/video is a little over 1 year old. It's lifting in multiple areas, mainly in the kitchen. I've reached out multiple times to ServePro directly and the office person simply says, well - I've contacted Kevin, he should be calling you back. I've also reached out to Kevin multiple times, but he refuses to follow up as promised or even respond to text messages. I'm definitely not trying to get anything for free here. It would be nice if Servepro could step in to see why this would happen after 1 year and provide some guidance and or options for a fix. A second inspection ordered by the buyer found the same issue. I contacted Quad and asked them to send someone out to re-install this sump pump correctly. They never called me back. I am not surprised. They will never make this right. I am attaching the inspectors' reports. UPDATE I just got a call from Harry. The email address that I send my request to was no longer in use.
