We had a reservation here to celebrate my fiancé's 30th birthday and it was perfect. We were sat within minutes and our server Maria was so friendly she made our dinner extra pleasant. Our dinner was delicious the ribeyes (~100 each) were perfectly cooked and seasoned, I loved the crab cake (~30) it was nice and crunchy on the outside and creamy with each bite, loved the lobster double baked potato (~25) and truffle mac & cheese (~20) . Lastly for dessert we ordered crème brûlée and it was also a win, nice layer of caramelized sugar and a good amount of fresh berries!! Highly recommend Duo to anyone visiting Maui for good food and good service. We came here specifically for breakfast. The breakfast buffet offers a solid selection of both American and Asian items, and coffee is included with the buffet ($59). Omelets are also included; you fill out a piece of paper and give your order to your server and it's brought directly to your table. I was still quite full from dinner at Ferraro the night before, so I ordered the avocado toast instead. It came with two large slices of bread topped with two eggs--hearty, filling, and plenty of avocado. Coffee ordered separately was about $9. Since this was our first breakfast at the Four Seasons, I was pleasantly surprised when the DUO assistant manager stopped by our table to wish us a Happy Anniversary and thank us for coming. Brussel sprouts were good - bonito flakes are unique and the balsamic cuts the grease of everything else on the menu. Lobster twice baked potato was decent - lobster was way too salty. Located at the four seasons in wailea is Duo Steak & Seafood. Valet parking is complimentary at the four seasons with a reservation at Duo. (They only have valet parking only - no self parking). There are multiple restaurants located at the four seasons but staff are super friendly in directing you where to go. It has an indoor outdoor vibe. Very beautiful during sunset. Servers are attentive. This place isn't a quick bite and go - it's more of a sit down and relax and enjoy type of place. I made a reservation online and noted that we were celebrating our honeymoon. Staff was extremely friendly and greeted us. The menu is extensive with protein on land and sea. My husband and I opted to stick with the meats. 11/10 - THE BEST RIBEYE of our lives. Medium rare - cooked to perfection. It was so tender and soft - just melts in your mouth. I would come back for this ribeye anyday. We also got the New York steak but this cut, although delicious, was nothing compared to the tenderness of ribeye. I wish we both just ordered the ribeye haha. We added on the truffle mac and cheese as a side a la carte. Super rich and creamy with a nice crispy top. We did also order the scallops as an appetizer (the dish comes with only 2 scallops) I wish there were at least 3-4 pc of scallops. The scallops have a nice crisp on the top. Flavor and texture were impeccable though. This is a place I highly recommend anyone looking for a nice dinner to celebrate any occasion. Service and quality of food are top notch. Duo at the Four Seasons Maui has become a "must" for us every time we visit, whether or not we stay at the resort. The food is consistently outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The steaks are excellent, and so is the catch of the day. Every single visit we've had an incredible meal. What truly makes Duo stand out, though, is the service. Tom, the general manager, is fantastic and always makes a point to stop by and connect. Timmy has been our server a few times, and he is absolutely fantastic. On one visit, we had Cooper, who was also terrific. At the bar, Shane makes one of the best espresso martinis we've ever had (though we do miss Nick, who used to be behind the bar but moved)! The atmosphere is magical at sunset with world-class food paired with a breathtaking Maui view. The level of service here was really great. It was my kids' first experience at a high-end steakhouse and they really enjoyed it. There aren't too many nicer places to stroll around on a Maui resort than the Four Seasons, and Duo is no exception. Everything from valet to a walk to the beach before our reservation was top notch. The ribeye was so perfectly prepared that I came back a second night just to try the tomahawk ribeye and it was absolutely worth it. Located in the Four Seasons two doors down from our resort, we made reservations for here on a Sunday night. We pulled up and valeted our car and walked in. This is located downstairs - hang a left then a left down steps and it's to your left. We were sat outside under an umbrella with limited outdoor sounds or distractions. Our waitress, taller blonde young woman was very friendly and welcomed us to the restaurant. We were sat outside under the large umbrellas near the pool and fountains. Along with the standard waters, I ordered an old-fashioned as well. This was very good. We started the milk bread as a starter- which comes with salted butter. As an entree, I ordered the 8oz filet medium, along with the bernaise sauce. Along with the steak, we ordered the potato puree and the crispy brussel sprouts. Both were really good and I would recommend these as a must-have. For dessert, we shared the chocolate macadamia nut torte which may have been the best dessert we had on our trip - crunchy bites along with the creamy richness of the chocolate. We decided to give a try at DUO for their breakfast buffet. Adult buffet $57 Located : lower lobby at Four Season hotel, Maui Restroom: just outside the restaurant. Coffee bar: available for anyone while you wait or pass by You have option to do Ala carte or buffet. The group in your party has their own choice, you don't have to all buffet or all Ala carte in your table. Pretty flexible. Also if you can to go box left over even if you still want that pancake or Omellete for later, you can box the fresh new ones. Also for the drink as well. Fyi: the juice bar is not included in your buffet. However, you can order juice that included in your buffer, just ask your server. They have pog, pinapple , cranberry or orange juice. For coffee, they also have oatmilk or almond milk for those who are lactose intolerance. They have omelette and pancake stand. The Omellete is very nice and fluffy which I like. The rest of the food: typical American bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes. Then the asian: ramen, bbq pork bun, siu mai and pot stickers. There's also fruits, salad, deli meat area next to acai bowl table. Then there's bread and pastry section. Since there's a lot of bird flying around and waiting for your left over, the waitress will bring the cover to cover your plate while you get another food. Overall the food is below average for four season. For $57 we expected more selections of everything and better quality of food. From the moment we were seated till we left, we were treated to the best service. Drinks were always filled and plates were quickly cleared. Started off with the crab cakes, scallops, truffle milk bread, and lobster Mac and cheese. Let's just say, no food was leftover. The crab cakes were huge and generously filled with lumps of crabmeat, scallops were perfectly cooked and served on a delicious edamame hummus, truffle milk bread was pillowy soft with just the right amount of truffle, and the Mac and cheese was equally delicious. For entrees, my cousin and Uncle got the truffle wagyu burgers, aunt ordered the huli huli chicken, and I got the grilled fresh catch (nairagi/marlin). No one had any complaints and I thought my fish was perfectly cooked. The fish was served on a bed of spinach and snap peas and topped with a fennel slaw and clam nage and dill oil. Save room for dessert cause they've got a stellar selection. We shared the chocolate soufflé, lilikoi tart, and a scoop of their homemade salted caramel ice cream. I also got a cute lil chocolate cupcake and candle. By the end of the night, we were too full to move!! Pro-tip: make reservations and go before sunset for some lovely views! Going to the breakfast buffet used to be one of the meal highlights of our wailea stay. This time was pretty mediocre across the board. The fruit options were most disappointing. Maybe out of season but the papaya was so hard it was inedible and the pineapple was sadly pretty flavorless. The selection had just gone down hill from years ago. It's not a bad buffet .... Our table was in a nice spot; perfect calm setting while the evening rolled in. Ordered the truffle milk bread (not pictured) as an appetizer, and it was fantastic! I could've eaten an order right by myself... Our entrées were the prime ribeye steak and the whole Kona lobster, and we added the potato purée and grilled broccolini for sides. So my husband and I mistook Duo restaurant as Ferraro's as they are both located at the Four Seasons Resort by the pool. We checked in without a reservation around 5:30pm and were seated right away. We ordered a couple drinks and once I started scanning the menu for food, I got confused trying to look for Italian pasta. That's when it hit me that we were at the wrong restaurant. Our waitress was so nice and understanding when we told her we meant to eat at Ferraro's. She pointed us the right way and we enjoyed our drinks before leaving. My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with a fancy dinner at DUO Steak & Seafood located at the Four Seasons in Wailea (The White Lotus hotel season 1 LOL). The outdoor weather was warm and you can see the pool and beach with the sunset overlooking the hotel. For dinner, we shared the truffle mac and cheese and charred broccolini as our sides. My husband enjoyed his big swell IPA beer and I had a non-alcoholic mango lychee drink. We each had our own NY steak strip (medium rare) that also came with a roasted whole garlic and two steak sauces of our choosing. I thought the portions were good and we were so full that we had to take the truffle mac and cheese with us as leftovers. Service was good and our waiter took our photo for us at dinner when asked. Maybe I could have asked if they do anything special for anniversary celebrations but I was soo full already lol.
