My son loved this because he liked the bacon and could eat a ton of it (he's 10). I'm not usually a buffet person. The food was fine. Service was almost nonexistent- which was fine I guess, since it was a buffet, but you need service for drinks unless you want water or coffee. I had to just live with those. The mornings are super loud, so don't expect a quiet ambiance and the swans didn't show. If you want a quiet pretty ambiance go to sonz at night instead, it's pretty and a lot quieter and in the same spot only without the hustle of a ton of people moving and tons of kids. read more

Swan Court Breakfast is the same spot as Son'z Steakhouse. It's morning service vs evening service. We ordered à la carte instead of the buffet so we were given a table and menus. We were seated right next to the pond facing a waterfall and can see the swans. The place is open air to the outside, but there are nets to keep the birds out. Small birds actually found their way into the restaurant but never got too close. Our server was awesome! She brought out coffee and took our order as soon as we were ready. She was pretty helpful bringing extra things we needed quickly like another napkin or fork. We ordered the Ube pancakes, Hawaiian style eggs Benedict, Kalua Pork Hash, and a side of sausages. The Ube pancakes were so fluffy and light, and the Ube sauce was not too sweet and the Ube flavor was there! The berries were a nice balance to the pancakes. The portion is big enough to share with 3 people. The Mai Ka Aina Eggs Benedict was eggs Benedict sub steak tomatoes for Canadian ham. Overall, it was alright. The potatoes were neither crispy or fluffy, and needed added salt. The eggs were poached nicely but the hollandaise sauce was flat. If that makes sense. The Kalua Pork Hash was awesome! It was served in on a hot iron skillet which made hash browns extra crispy on the edges. The Kalua pork mixed into the hash gave it a good amount of salt and seasoning. And the over easy eggs with the Kalua sauce served on top of the hash was perfect. We could've ordered a second Kalua pork hash if we weren't so full from the pancakes. The total cost was $105 for 3 entrees plus coffee, so it's pricier than an average breakfast. Service was great, the dining room was nice a bright and huge, and most of the food was amazing. What a beautiful view of the waterfall! There were many ducks making their way around and the swans were a little shy this morning but a tropical paradise with a waterfall to view while eating breakfast. The breakfast was the best breakfast bar at a hotel I've ever had!! The chicken congee and chia pudding are exceptional but there are a number of classics like scrambled eggs and bacon (there is a literal mountain on a silver platter). Smoked salmon, avocado toast, and other "luxury" breakfast items are also there! Service was extremely upbeat, attentive and pleasant! Plates were constantly being cleared and servers were so playful and fun! Order the passion, orange and guava juice- it's amazing and a signature Hawaii thing here. There's also a coffee bar in the middle of the buffet where you can get vanilla, hazelnut or caramel syrup- I grabbed some for my hot coffee at the table! Loved this place. We were staying at the Hyatt Regency in Lahaina and ate breakfast here. Everything we had was delicious. You can choose Breakfast Buffet or Order A La Carte from the Menu. We first heard of it when we got a Costco package for Hyatt over a decade ago. It included breakfast and that breakfast was at Swan court. Since then, we've come back to it despite using different hotels throughout Kaanapali. The fresh fruit is always superb and their offerings for savory breakfast items have always included quality and tasty standard fare along with Hawaiian/Asian fusions. I was looking forward to their kimchi fried rice, but as of 9/'25, that was not an offering. Nevertheless, I got an easy replacement in their Congee (Asian savory porridge - yum!). Also, do yourself a favor and try their chia pudding. It's a slightly sweet, custardy and coconuty treat. Also get additional omegas from their flavorful smoked salmon! The kids ate well stating their scrambled eggs and bacon were very good. And the price was right for kids over 5 at just under half the price for that of an adult breakfast (adult = $40). Kids 5 and under = free. Better value than a Vegas breakfast buffet and just as top notch! Good, strong coffee and POG and orange juices. An incredibly satisfying meal in a peaceful setting. It had the basic staples.(eggs, cereals, breads, potatoes, bagels) but a few other choice items (omelets, pastries like cinnamon rolls, croissants). My friend got the eggs benedict and found it mediocre, my kalua pork hash was somewhat mushy and lacked flavor, and my husband got scrambled eggs and bacon which was nothing special but just fine. The coffee was okay, but the juices were not fresh. Realistically we will likely end up here for breakfast again if we stay at this Hyatt again, simply out of convenience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. We were staying at the Hyatt and came down to Swan Court one morning for breakfast. Pretty view overlooking the garden area with some water falls, and watching the swans swim in the pond. It didnt look like there was a bad seat in the house! I peeped the menu ahead of time, and I already knew I wanted to get the Hawaiian French toast. It was everything I wanted it to be lol Coconut bread with liliko'i butter and a coconut syrup on top! Someone I was with got the Ube pancakes, and wowww were those good too... nothing like I've ever tried before! Service was a bit slower but we were not in a big hurry so it was alright. Breakfast is good here especially when it's included in your package deal. The buffet was included with our stay so we ate free each morning however if you don't have it included for 2 it will cost you a whopping $66 a day! Soooo not worth it. Honestly that's a little steep especially if your here for a week! You do the math! Food is okay but the stars are for the staff! Super friendly and just really great people. Also for the view and scenery! Just beautiful. As I looked around at other tables ordering food not from the buffet the food looked delicious. I didn't try it out we decided to stick to our free breakfast but maybe next time. I think this place used to be really good and has gone downhill over the year. It fills up, so be prepared to wait if you come during peak hours or with a large group. Hello everyone, I felt the need to leave a review for this restaurant because all the negative reviews in the past do not really do this place justice. First off, I had complementary breakfast buffets from my vacation package and it was just perfect. Opens at 6:30a for my early birds and closes I believe around 11:30a. The buffet itself always had your usual continental items such as: eggs, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, bread/bagels, bacon/sausage and Greek yogurt. Every day, there is some sort of special menu item that was different. To list some examples, I had shrimp/pork dumplings, fried rice, English muffin with Canadian bacon, portobello mushrooms, pork bao buns, pancit, and Portuguese sausage. My fiancé really loved their chia seed pudding, which was also there every day. For my fellow protein/gym rats, this place had everything you need to meet your goals before/after your workout from smoked salmon, smoked ham, hard boiled eggs, egg white scramble & egg scramble. Best carb for me was their roasted potatoes, they had some different form of it each day I went but it was perfect, soft and not too greasy. The service here is really great and everyone is so nice. It does get a little busy during prime time breakfast so keep in mind that the servers are working fast and diligent to meet everyone's needs. I did not try their Al La Carte, but they have this Ube Pancake that looks amazing. Overall, this place is great for a quick breakfast or even if you want to stuff your face. We ate here as a family of 4 every single breakfast, 7 days in a row! We figured we would be sick of it by day three. We were wrong! Some of the older reviews don't seem great. Somde dude named Chase from Texas said the best thing each day was a muffin. That tells you more about Chase than this buffet, to be frank. Regardless, I assume Hyatt took into account some of the not-so-great feedback from pre 2023 and and upgraded the Swan Court buffet, since it really impressed us. Every day, they always had high quality pastries and incredibly fresh fruit and the usual cereals. For kiddos, this was fantastic, since that is really all they want each time. And I myself got the fruit every day too, since it was so great and juicy and fresh. To drink, we ordered a tea, a coffee, and multiple juices daily. We were not let down. To give you a sense of the variety, here are some of my highlights for each day - First day - dim sum, pork dumplings, breakfast burritos, bread pudding Second day - eggs Benedict station with portobello mushrooms, the best Maui potatoes, smoked salmon with purple spam fried rice Third day - pancit (so good), Portuguese sausage, warm almond croissants, Parmesan potatoes Fourth day - shrimp tempura, veggie tempura, Denver omelets, veggie quiche, mac nut muffins Fifth day - Maui onion and cream cheese puffs, BBQ pork tenderloin Sixth day - garlic fried rice, meat lover omelets, 3 flavorrs of malasadas (caramel, berry, hazelnut). Seventh day - mini pork Baos, herb mahi mahi, pineapple mac nut bread Honestly, some of the best variety I have ever seen anywhere for a breakfast buffet. Ah for the ability to give zero stars. For those of us who longing for the mediocrity of yesteryear at this buffet, those days are long gone. And for a much higher price, you too can get so much less! Please note the picture of our bill. Because we are a family of six, we were blessed with the mandatory 20% gratuity which is tagged on not to the base total but to the total which has the added requisite 20% service charge. So total bill plus 20% service charge. Take THAT new total and add a 20% additional gratuity! And the "service " consisted of pouring ice water. Note please that if we had divided into two separate tables of 3, or 3 tables of 4, or 6 tables of 6, there would be no mandatory gratuity but significantly more work for the server. Note that two cappuccinos were ordered for $7 each which is a 100% profit margin for them bc all they had to do was heat their coffee in a microwave until fully scorched to highest possible temperature coffee can be, then add this indescribable milk "foam" which resembled spittle. Yum. You need to know ahead of time (bc God forbid they inform you) that you may order juice, milk or toast that they will bring to you bc it is no longer in the buffet (which is fine- just tell us). We will obviously not return bc we could eat at the most expensive restaurant around and leave happy and for less cost. (To be clear- we are happy to spend the money but not to donate it to the cause of Swan Court charity). To be fair, the coffee was good. (Not great but good is ok.) The offerings in the buffet were VERY slim, for example, there was maple syrup but no pancakes or French toast? Four fruits which were good. Decent scrambled eggs. Good bacon. Croissants were rolls shaped like a croissant. Nothing flaky about them. In all, the cost was extortion. The view is lovely. Location is convenient. read more

Fresh fruit, danishes, oatmeal, breakfasts meats, potatoes and omelets. A different selection everyday. The ambience is amazing as you look out over the lake where the swans are swimming. Very relaxed atmosphere. For the most part we had Flo as our server and I would request her again. She went above and beyond everyday. This is a great option if you want to stay on site for breakfast. Even if you don't have the buffet package you can order it or ala carte breakfasts off the menu. Highly recommend read more

We came here recently after my nostalgic experience from 2004. Everything pretty much looked the same, but I loved the ambiance with the swans. However, at some point, it went from an open-air experience to not-so-open-air as there was netting covering the open area between the restaurant and pond. Birds somehow still get in, so I'm not sure what benefit it was for, and there only seemed to be one swan and a duck, so it wasn't quite the same, but it was still a beautiful view. The food was OK, not as great as I remember. It ended up being $60+ for the buffet for the two of us and to be honest, you can get better stuff at some of the local places, so this was more about the ambience, but I'm not sure I'd come back anytime soon. We came here for a buffet around 9:30 am on a weekend, the wait wasn't too long for a party of 6 but if you came in a party of 2 or 4, you were more likely to get seated faster. The buffet selection was pretty nice, the pastries were good and they had smoked salmon. I liked the Denver omelettes that day and they had carrot cake muffins (slaps). I cannot talk much about the a la carte food, but I can guarantee that if you are not getting the buffet, drinks are NOT free and NOT worth it. They are $7 for a small cup of guava juice. To respond to a review that is on here about total and tax: for parties of 6 or more, they do auto-charge 20% tip, common for restaurants when you have a large party. They did NOT add on top of that, another 20% of service fees. Upon close inspection of the receipt, the tip was just rewritten to say service fee later, so no, there is NO 40% increase to your receipt and yes, I did check by using my calculator. Just the 20% tip is added. Now the only complaint I have is that the service here is not great. Perhaps it was because I was in a group of 6 and the tip was pre-determined, but after careful observation, the waitstaff tended to talk up the customers who were white-passing. My family and I, are not. I am not accusing anything nor am I implying anything. This is merely an observation. It is to be noted that we were also seated further in the back due to the time we came and the amount of people in our party. But we could not get service after the initial ask of "can I get you anything to drink". No one checked in on us and it took about 5-10 minutes to get someone's attention so I can order milk for my cereal. read more

While staying at the hyatt we had complimentary breakfast here everyday and had a nice meal to start the day every morning. Its Buffett style so you have a wide variety to chose from, however you can order off a menu if you wish. The buffett every morning has a cereal station, rice station, fruit station, and pastry section; all of which are fresh and options vary. Along with these stations they aways have some form of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes/french toast, and then some local specialty breakfast options. Everything was great. My favorite was when they had the breakfast burrito staion and the french toast. They also have a wide options of juice and drinks. The view and seating is awesome and peaceful. Buffet breakfast in the beautiful Hyatt. There was plenty of food to choose from in the buffet area. I was able to try a bunch of items that I never heard of and enjoy them all. The place gets packed so go early. Thanks to jet lag we arrived when it opened at 630am and we were about 10th in line. When we left the place was packed. The view is amazing. The tables overlook a pond that is filled with swans and flamingos. Once you look past the lake you can see the beautiful ocean. There are nets to keep out most of the birds from munching on your food but of course a few sneak in. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very kind to my son. There are so many different types of food and the service is amazing. I would definitely recommend but do make sure you come hungry or come around 9:30am so you will eat enough.
