Upon recommendation from a real estate agent, I reached out to this company and Rick said they could handle both for a reasonable price. They did an amazing job! The only issue we had was with scheduling. There was some confusion as to the scheduling of these 2 services and they were late arriving to do both the stretching one day and the cleaning the next day BUT they stayed late into the evening for both services and did a very thorough job. I am very happy with the service they provided! I also appreciated how quick and communicative Rick was via text message. Sometimes I don't have the cycles to sit down and call people so having the option to text was definitely huge plus.

(I had noticed lots of debris when repositioning it.) Additionally, they overcharged us $50 after having agreed on a price in writing, and they didn't respond when I asked about the extra charge. On top of that, they are extremely difficult to get ahold of to schedule a job in the first place, often not replying to emails or texts. Scheduling a pickup and dropoff took a lot of back and forth. We did have to reschedule once when two people in the house came down with COVID, but there was a ton of rescheduling on their end. It was nice they made an effort to get the rugs back quickly, but I have no idea what I paid for, much less paid extra for. The previous time I worked with them (the second time), they forgot to return our rug on the agreed-upon date. tldr: Rug was still dirty, we were overcharged, their communication was bad. I would pay with a credit card so you can contest the charge if needed. Mostly I would find someone else.

I was scheduled for Wednesday between 1-3 and they showed up 5 hours late. Parker called several times letting me know his guy would be late but by the time he arrived our building would not allow him up. We rescheduled for the following week at 1pm and when no one showed by 1:15 I called the owner and asked if they still planned to show up to clean our carpet. He seemed confused as to who I was or why I was calling and said his guy would be at our apartment at 4pm. They no showed again and did not pick up or return my calls. I don't normally post reviews but felt that I had to share this horrible experience with Parker & Sons. From my experience, this operation is poorly run and unreliable if you need your carpets cleaned within a reasonable time frame.

I worked with the owner's son, Eric. Eric is so nice, pleasant, responsive, and polite. He told me that he's been working with his dad since he was 12 so obviously he knows what he's doing. Eric was the one who actually did the cleaning at my house. I think I'm stating the obvious here: When you are working directly with the owner (or the owner's son) you are going to get much better service and results than some random tech that's sent out to your house. Had a fantastic experience using Loren Carpet Cleaners to clean some area rugs this week…read more My poor dog ate something that turned his GI tract into a salad spinner, and he unleashed its fury all over our rug. We did our best to clean it but the rug still had some staining and odor.  I found Loren online and saw that they had great reviews, so I called. Brian (owner) listened to my tale and assured me that this was something he'd helped clients remediate on the regular. He then asked questions to size up the project and give me an estimate over the phone.  Since he was coming out already, we had him expand the quote to include a few other rugs from high-traffic areas in our house that needed a little refreshing. He also cleaned a family member's sofa and did an incredible job there as well. We were extremely impressed with Brian's professionalism (his communication and project management are top-notch!) and with his cleaning skills.  He also goes out of his way to give bundled pricing when a client has multiple items in a job. Happy to report that the dog is fully recovered and so is the rug, thanks to Loren Carpet Cleaners.
