I've had my LR4 for about 7 months and hadn't had any service since I purchased. Logan told me that they could work on my car on my schedule. I dropped it at 8 am right and Aaron knew exactly what my vehicle needed. They were both communicative, friendly, and helpful. I received updates from Logan every step of the way. Logan was honest and open about what the vehicle needed, why it needed it, and what it didn't need. He didn't try to upset me and was communicative about the best way to care for the vehicle to make sure it lasts as long as possible - not something that service shops are typically incentivized to do. This is the first time I've taken my vehicle to someone I actually trust to be honest and honorable throughout the process, and it's a huge relief. I have found the promised land and it is at the screwy intersection of Maple Ave, Hudnall and the Denton Dr. cutoff. If your LR or whatever is out of warranty, and the er um wait times at the other place that is not the LR dealer is just too much, these guys rule. Can you imagine taking your Disco II in on a Monday afternoon and they apologize because it won't be ready until after 5pm the next day!!!! If you own one of our precious babies, the cost is not really the issue, getting things done in less than a week is our paradise. We are crazy enough to drive these beauties and as near as I can tell service prices are about the same as the dealer but at Dusouth they fix the big thing first, not the little stuff and then hit you up for the million dollar repair. DuSouth is the VERY BEST!!! After horrible experiences at Land Rover Dallas, I was in need of someone to make repairs on my range rover sport! I called DuSouth and they said to bring it in whenever was best for me. I brought it in a couple hours later, they looked at it, ordered the parts, and made the repairs! I had my car back the next day! Just recently I was ready to get a new car (I know NOTHING about cars!) I just had my first service using DuSouth Rovr and was very pleased with the experience. They were professional, prompt and detailed my costs prior to any work being done. After calling around for quotes on my brake work, DuSouth was very competitive but they won me over with their detailed knowledge and professionalism. I was notified at every step of the work and it took half the time it did when the dealer the brakes years ago. When the dealer did it, they left grease stains on the doors and smudges on the carpet. These guys do an excellent job! From beginning to end, they only deal with Rovers and know their business. You can get in and out with little delay, certainly not weeks like at the dealership. When an issue comes up with parts, or something comes up when they are troubleshooting, they call you right away and let you know some suggested fixes. They don't try to sell you parts you don't need. They talk to you about your car. And most of all, they have the contacts and know-how to fix things at the best cost. I like this place. Even though my office is 1 exit from the Dallas dealership, I choose to take my car to Du South. Too many negative experiences with the Dallas Land Rover service department has lost my trust in them. Du South is a good group of guys that know the product. It does take a little longer to service than at the dealership, but I am ok with that. Logan and Aaron are great, honest people. They are significantly cheaper than the dealership without compromising the quality. I first got my car repaired from them a year ago, and now I refuse to go back to dealership.
