First of all the prices are astronomical for subpar cheap parts. These guys left my vehicle worse than I dropped it off I wouldn't be surprised if they had one single ASE certified technician. The lady behind the counter was staring at me so hard I felt profiled the entire time like they wanted to take advantage of me. This is absolutely the best shop you are going to find anywhere. They are very honest, economical and efficient. Prior to finding this shop I would try to self diagnose my vehicle to get an idea of what it may cost to fix at other shops. I did that at first here as well but always found they quoted a better price than I expected and gave me a honest assessment of my vehicle. I recently went in expecting to replace a sensor when the issue just turned out to be a bad wire. Rather than selling me on unnecessary work, they found the best solution and saved me $$ in the end. I'm only writing this review because i'm taking the owners to Small Claims Court over BREAKING my vehicle, leaving TRASH inside, and LYING on the diagnosis receipt. (Photos Attached). What happened was my car engine kept shutting off while driving so I had it towed to (Addison Automotive) which was one of the most nearby shops with decent reviews. I turned off the lights and left the car in the shop parking space. They were friendly and accommodating at first. The following day they told me I needed an (Exhaust Timing Oil Control Valve). It cost $300 and they supposedly replaced it. It turned out whatever they did literally BROKE my vehicle in the process. I picked up the car to discover the door ajar alarm would not turn off even when all doors are closed. The headlights/taillights/dash lights won't turn off, even when the key is out the ignition. Seriously. Not even the power locks worked! They didn't eve warn me about any of this when I picked it up. I tell this all to the female owner and that they must have short circuited it by accident or crossed wires. She tells me that they didn't even touch anything electrical and it's a coincidence all this is breaking when I pick my car up now. (What??) You can see on the receipt that it LITERALLY says (Electrical). She said it wasn't their fault and I need to pay for another diagnosis and to get it fixed. I told her this is crazy my electrical system is now ruined and that a mechanic who did my oil and the tow truck driver can vouch for how my electric was working before it was brought here but she just kept overtalking me. I told her I have to take her to Small Claims Court over how much i'm going to have to pay to fix what they broke and me renting a vehicle and she smirked and said "Great, Great, Good" and held my car keys out and sarcastically asked "You need these?" with a big grin. Lastly when I got back to my car there was now DIRTY WHITE CUP with a red liquid. I went back to ask her about the trash but she must have went to the back office. I wouldn't believe this if it didn't just all happen to me. read more

Be cautious, is my best advice. After solid research & great reviews, I took my car to this shop for a basic rear brake job. Beverly was friendly & they repaired my brakes same day. Decent price, no big savings, but didn't feel gouged. She did up sell me on a brake fluid flush & wipers (2012 Honda, 50K miles) but no big deal. The big deal started 3 days & $407 later when my car developed a shake anytime I touched the brake pedal. I called & asked if I could make an appointment to see if they'd look at the vehicle again & Beverly refused. Said it didn't sound like a rear brake issue & her mechanic schedule was iffy for the next week anyway. No problem, I requested the next open appointment & she only kept repeating she guaranteed a rear brake warranty of 12 months/12K miles. While we were both polite to each other, at the end of the day, she refused to examine my car. I had to find another mechanic for the issue. (tires weren't balanced & pressure was low on same rear tire with brake issue.) I really wanted to love this mechanic & find a permanent one for my 3 cars. However, my advice to you is be cautious. As for me, I won't recommend nor use them again. Bummer. read more

They not only quickly fixed the problem, they even fixed a rattle in his door for no charge. They charged what they quoted and were less expensive than quotes for the same job at other places. I had to edit my review bc though they gave great customer service, they failed to correctly diagnose my car even after having to bring it back in a second time. They also took over 5 days each time they had my car. Beverly is super sweet and eager to help you get back in your car so that was awesome. My two back windows were not rolling up but would roll down only. They fixed it with no problem or concerns. My two front breaks were operating only with a 15% life. They fixed it with no problem and quick return. My Acadia GMC was having a kickback after driving and picking up speed. Addison Automotives were able to detect a disconnect read in my transmission. They fixed that as well. I am very pleased about the timely fashion that it took to get my vehicle back and how much Sherry and her crew paid attention to details and the customer care. Great Work and Honest Mechanics! I told them the symptoms over the phone, and they said what problem they think my car had and that it would cost around X amount to fix. When the repair was completed, they said it was actually something much more simple and only costs about half of what they estimated over the phone. I have not had a problem since! In an industry full of shady liars (I've encountered some of them around Addison and Plano), I really appreciate their honesty and quality work. Thought I needed a positive battery cable. Called with price questions and after realizing it would run $160 for the part; $300 total; Beverly asked me to bring in the car so they could look at it to see if $300 was really necessary. Brought it in and they were able to fix the issue for $39 (no cable). Firestone had quoted me $1200 to $1400. ($150 for a rebuilt cable.) This company won my trust. I'm going to them with issues. Finding a new auto shop is always a nightmare, especially as a female. I can't tell you how many times I've been ripped off or have been attempted to be ripped off- NOT HERE! The place is a little hidden and simple but extremely fair. I came in first thing in the morning and met with Beverly, very sweet. They will offer you a ride as long as you have a ride back home! I received a call about 2 hours later with the diagnosis part by part and labor included. Very reasonable! My car was out and finished by 5pm! She also mentioned something that would be needing repairs later but stressed to me that I didn't need to do it immediately. Wait, she didn't try to up sell me? That's incredible. She also told me the price so that when it happens to be prepared to pay- I'll prob go around and get estimates just to check but I have to say, these are honest folk. In response to the business owner - like we discussed when I came back 30 minutes ago to pick my vehicle up, I came with a video of the noise my car was making in an attempt to be prepared. We have all had the circumstance where the complaint doesn't happen when we go to the mechanic, doctor, etc. When I came in Thursday with the issue, we discussed it, I showed you the video, and you and your team said you knew exactly what was wrong and had seen it before. For that reason and having heard the noise a lot, I asked you all to go ahead and look into it. Like I told you on the phone, this was the week that worked for me to be without a car, so that factored into my decision as well. I noticed it after my car was worked on, and I have not been in an accident or anything since that would cause my rear bumper to rattle after being serviced. I am sorry that you feel your team's time was wasted. However, I will not apologize for not knowing what was wrong with my car. I am not a mechanic and for all I know it could have been something more serious that would have gotten worse had I waited. I have clients that waste my time every week too, it's part of business sometimes. Thank you for looking further into the issue and I am glad it is nothing serious. - I have had some frustrations with this place. I had my car's ac fan fixed here a couple weeks ago, for a little over $1000. They left their $600 cordless drill in my car which I returned. This week I begin to hear a buzz that was not there before. I text their number (because that is how they prefer to communicate) asking what I should do and receive no response. I follow up later and they tell me to bring it by. I bring it in and after trying to get in touch with them multiple times finally they tell me it is in fact the fan they fixed. It was installed wrong. The owner told me "you can wait for it to get worse and come back and we can fix it or you can leave it with us and we'll go in and fix it". I said I'd prefer to leave it with them and she said "can you bring it back next week? We're slammed." This rubbed me the wrong way. I just paid you 1000 dollars to fix my car and I bring it back because your team did the job incorrectly and you don't have time for me? Not cool. Overall a not very professional place to have your car serviced. Will not be back. read more
