Dutch Bros has THE best customer service out of ALL the coffee shops I've visited. I've been here 3-4 times in the past two weeks already! If you are not satisfied with your drink, you are not forced to drive away and drink it. In fact, they offer to make you a drink that you end up happy with! Most of the time, they do tend to get the drinks on point. On one occasion, I didn't like the peach milkshake as it tasted too artificial to me, so they ended up making a peach smoothie - which was MUCH better. You can't go wrong with the drinks here, and they definitely want you leaving happy. My favorite place to go on a hot day whenever I'm in Davis. Will definitely return! read more

I don't get the hype. FABULOUS customer service, but I don't get the hype. I ordered the kicker, which was an Irish cream breve latte. It tasted like all milk.. they probably put like 2 espresso shots and a whole lot of half and half. I thought it was going to be a creamy iced coffee with Irish cream - it was my fault for not understanding that this was a breve latte.. Their sizes for iced drinks are 16oz, 24oz, and 32oz. when I got home, I was curious to see how many calories was my medium drink, and it's 440 calories!! And 220 calories from fat! Holy crap. The girls who work here are so nice. I drove away to get dinner tried my drink, and it wasn't sweet enough. I got it a quarter sweet, which was silly of me since this was a breve latte. The half and half would dilute all the sweetness obviously. I came around the drive through to ask if they could add more sweetener, prepared to hand her my cup and she said "no worries, we can make you a new one". She came back with my new half sweet kicker, and it was still not sweet enough. I asked her if she could make it a little sweeter, and she was ready to make me a new one, but I told her I didn't want her to make me an entirely new drink because I didn't want her to waste materials. GREAT customer service. Thank you to girls who helped me, and being patient will my indecisiveness. You really went above and beyond. Wish I could grade this for the service but I'm talking about the coffee If I'm ever in the Davis area, I would go back and try the kicker cold brew. For the first time trying Dutch bros, I really enjoyed it! I'm used to Starbucks but was always curious about the DB! Many individuals tell me Dutch bros is so much sweeter than Starbucks so I was really excited! First thing I noticed was that the employees are so much nicer and seem so much happier working for DB! Taylor and Sarah were so cool and their customer service was top notch! Since it was my first time, they told me the drinks are free!!! WHOA!! That was real cool! I also told them that I want the best vanilla iced drink and they suggested the Golden Eagle which was a caramel vanilla coffee so I went with that! The drink was very sweet and had just enough caramel where it wasn't over powering. The drink was also smooth and rich which is always a plus. The good about this place is they open 24/7, so a coffee fix can be tamed at any time of the day. The worker recommended the grasshopper drink to me. It was basically mint coffee mocha. However, the mint taste was too weak, and the coffee did not seem strong at all. Prices were fair, cheaper than Starbucks. However, I was not really impressed. I would give this place another try, but I would order a drink that has more coffee. This place is really popular. I do not know if all locations get super packed. When I get in line at 730am, there was only 2 cars in front of me, but they were done as I approached. However, by the time I finished ordering and received my drink, the line went all the way down the street. Would I come back? Like I said, I am willing to give this place another try. The first time we came here was a couple months ago. We were in town for a UC Davis campus event and had heard good things about Dutch Bros so my son and I stopped by. We mentioned it was our first time there to the person taking our order. Imagine our surprise when we were told our order was on the house because it was our first visit! I liked this place already! Today we stopped by en route to the Bay Area. The staff, like last time, was extremely cheerful! I've been here a couple of times and every single time I've had an excellent experience! But my most recent visit made me want to write a review. On my most recent visit, I went through the drive in with 5 other friends. Many of us were ordering 2 drinks each, which made it understandable why the person who took our order failed to put my order down. Not realizing this, we continued to the window and got all of our orders except mine. When we asked them about my order, it was realized that my order wasn't recorded. What I appreciated was that they took my order at the window and gave it to me for free. This positive interaction made my day and attests to the wonderful service this location gives. Y'all come to this lyft driver's rescue each and every time! I get legit excited when I have a pick up in Davis because it means I can stop for Dutch and it will be open no matter how insanely late it is. I'm greeted with happy smiles and sweet beats every time I roll through. They were bumping The Sound of Music soundtrack one time at 1 am. Yeah. My kind of party. This is the first time I was introduced to the late night stamp card: five stamps during cray late hours, and you get a free medium sized coffee on the house! I need a little flavor, some Splenda, or at the very least, some cream to sweeten it up. What I do appreciate, though, is a strong, smooth cup of coffee, and Dutch Bros. delivered. I ordered an Annihilator, a hazelnut-flavored coffee ($3.40/med). I like their simple menu, about 6 items which can be customized hot, iced, or blended, sugar-free, fat-free, with soy or coconut milk. There are 2 drive-thru windows (1 each direction) and a walk-up window. The staff was sweet and friendly, fast and efficient. Great service! Holy crap this is good stuff. This place is open 24 hours, and in a college town, that's perfect. There's two sides to the drive-thru and a window so you can walk up and order. At night, the building becomes a mini-club with lasers and house music. This place opened close to finals week, and it was super packed that week. Another thing about this place is that they offer deals really often. There was a deal every day of the week during finals week from $2 dollar drinks to BOGO. All the drinks I've tried so far were hot, but there's an option to get it cold (and I think blended as well). The expressos here are super flavorful, but it might be a little to sweet for some. I've tried the Caramelizer and I absolutely loved it, but my mom thought it was way too sweet for her. I've also tried the Candy Cane Mocha which had way more peppermint flavor than a Starbucks drink and their Chai Latte which is also really good. Their Annihilators are good hot, but I've heard that it's better served cold. I'll have to try it next time. The prices are really good for what you get. A small or a medium is a double-shot of expresso and a large is 4 shots (according to the menu). Prices go from $3.25-4.50. Service here is really awesome. Everyone is upbeat and is always smiling. One guy handled a large crowd (maybe 60 people) all by himself at midnight during finals week and he was all smiles and all about customer service. Finally tried this place. yay! DECOR: I love how it is right off the freeway. However, its pretty hard to drive in if there is a long line. FOOD: I had a Watermelon green tea. I love Dutch Bros coffee. We made a quick pit stop coming home from the Bay area. The entrance to this place is RIDICULOUS! You have to make a U-Turn just to get into the place, super poor planning on the Dutch Bros part. The line can get long and you have to be careful not to block certain areas. They bought an existing drive-through coffee place, but that place wasn't popular. Dutch Bros is. So what happens? Traffic backs up into the street. And people literally are perfectly fine holding up traffic to wait in line. That's not OK, although I don't know what they can do about it. It's also very awkward to get into line at times if you choose to do it legally. The Starbucks in South Davis has a similar problem. This has to be the most oddly placed location that I have ever been to. There are two driveways but you have to be coming from the other side and usually people use that side as the exit rather than the entrance. If that sounded really confusing, come visit this spot and you'll see what I'm talking about. Please drive safely and be careful. This location area to drive in and out of is a lot smaller than the other ones I've been to. The workers are always super nice and they greet you before you get to the window...a process I believe has been beneficial for them to get drinks out efficiently, timely, perfectly (for the most part). The menu only gives you the basics so it's probably best to consult the menu online prior to your visit or just ask the person taking your order to create a drink for you if there isn't one that's already created. You just tell them what you like and if you like it hot, cold or blended and they will create the magic just for you. Although, if you are super happy with your drink, tip them (generously) and remember what you ordered because you're probably going to want to order it again or spruce it up even more by adding a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Trust me. This place is about 15-20 minutes away from home. It's usually a stopover on my way to the Bay or on my way back from the Bay and I just need a little extra push to get me home during the last 15-20 minutes of my drive to Sacramento. The drinks are fairly sweet if you have them as is so adjust them to your liking. The first time I had Dutch Bros I wasn't used to the caffeine. It was pretty strong or the baristas made it super strong that day. Let's just say I was bouncing off the walls which is pretty funny when you think about it...especially since I have a house full of boys. Enjoy your drink and the workers. They are pretty fun even with the small talk. They are always friendly and happy. Don't be deterred by the lines. They go pretty quick. On the flip side waiting in drive-thru trying to get close enough see the menu and make up your mind with cars behind pressure. Not only coffee they also sell blended and smoothies. The service was on it. They even had someone out taking orders not just once you get to the window. Maybe cause this is busy location due to fact close to campus. Why can't a Dutch Bros Coffee be located in Sacramento? I do love the Davis, Citrus Heights and Elk Grove locations. Davis is conveniently located right off the freeway and right across from an IN N OUT. It is a perfect stop when you are headed to the Vacaville outlets or the bay. Usually you can expect a wait but not a long one as someone will usually come out and take your order on their mobile device. The coffee here is always great and the different flavors they have complement the coffee very well.
