I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered 3 drinks, one of them being a small caramelizer cold brew. When I got my drinks the cold brew was a medium, meaning I paid for a medium and it didn't have any caramel or almond milk in it. Straight sewer water. I've gotten that drink before at Dutch and it for sure was not made right. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and the employees didn't seem to care at all. I will not be coming back to this location or Dutch for awhile. read more

For me a visit to Dutch Brothers is not so much about the coffee, because I think their coffee is just OK, compared to the many "high quality" 3rd wave coffee sellers in the marketplace. But what keeps me visiting Dutch Brothers is their staff and their enthusiasm for great service, plus the fact that they are open late, and that's just one more reason I don't have to settle for one of the BIG coffee chains. I keep it pretty simple at DB, a latte or a drip. My wife might venture out for one of their more adventurous offerings, but I find them way too sweet. I enjoy the convenience of their drive through and the way they run it so efficiently, even if the line looks long, they seem to have a way of keeping it moving at an acceptable pass. The staff seems very young, but DB obviously has an exceptional hiring and training practice in place, cuz these "kids" understand and practice excellent customer service. So even though their coffee might not be top notch, their operations certainly are. read more

I went to Dutch more then I would like to admit in high school at a different location. What better way to start a Friday then coffee? Relocated the last 5 years in TX and missed Dutch so much (they finally are opening locations there!) and was ecstatic to try out this new location and I was blown away. I didn't get the name of the gentleman you made my drink but I asked if they had stickers even though it wasn't the 1st of the month and he went inside and gave me one of his personal ones! the customer service here at this location is just the best of the best and the lines move so fast! read more

What a joke! After going here for two weeks straight and almost every day, and getting the same thing Dutch Bros decides to screw me! I ordered a small cold brew without ice, it's usually a full small cup. Today they hand me a not even half full small cup of cold brew coffee, and I asked what that was all about. The smart ass kid says it's because there's no ice. I explained that I had ordered the same thing every day and it was always a full cup, and today they decide to just give me not even half a cup. So for $4.50 plus a 1$ tip I get half a small cup of cold brew, what a joke! I got out of my car to go talk to the manager and she told me that cold brew is expensive to make, no "oh let me take care of that for you." nothing, nada, zip! I would think for $5.50 of my hard earned money I could get a full cup of coffee and not a half full small cup that's probably just a few ounces of coffee. Give me a break, I felt so screwed. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Let me start by saying I LOVE Dutch and have visited just about every location multiple times without issue BUT the Folsom location by far hands down is the worst! The first time I went with my co-worker about 2 weeks ago and the service was terrible. The girl taking our order was to busy having a conversation with the other order taker that we had to repeat ourselves several times as well as wait for them to finish their conversation before even acknowledging we were wait there. Then with 3 cars still in front of us they ran us out 1 drink (we ordered 2of the same thing) I mentioned that we actually ordered 2 and she said it will be right out. 1 car 2 car and we are finally up to the window, but there was no drink.. they couldn't find record of it either so we had to again repeat the order and not wait for them to make it. Today we tried again, this time with my 14 year old daughter who pretty much lives on Dutch Bros. I ordered my drink it's pretty simple a medium pomegranate, cherry lemonade and my daughter ordered a medium blended chocolate milk picture perfect - she was very specific and emphasized that she did not want a freeze or a frost that she wanted the jug chocolate milk blended. The person taking the order look at her like she was speaking Chinese. She then said "ok so that's a small frost picture perfect correct?" To which we said no and repeated the correct order. This when back and forth 5 different times. This isn't a hard order it's not even a special order and every Dutch from Auburn to Woodland as well as all in between have never had an issue making this until Folsom. So after 10 minutes in the drive thru ( thank goodness we were the only ones there) we finally think the order is straight and pay - $10.37 for a lemonade and chocolate milk that's $4 more then I have EVER paid for that same exact order but at that point I was frustrated and just wanted our drinks because we were now late. The unfriendly girl at the window doesn't say hi or how's your day in fact she didn't even lookup from the counter until she said "here is your medium freeze " this was not our drink and not only was this not what we ordered but it was not even picture perfect and was missing the whipped cream! To top it off instead of making my daughter the drink she actually ordered and I way over paid for they seriously just poured the drink into another cup and added the whipped cream and drizzle. I have never been more disappointed and frustrated with a Dutch Bros experience in my life and I have waited an hour for coffee before - I would happily wait as long as the staff is friendly, the music is good and my order is correct. Folsom desperately needs to train their staff maybe take them on a field trip to ANY other Dutch to see how it should be done.. read more

My experiences here have been awful. 20-45 minute wait times for one or two drinks is ridiculous! Especially since I always get down on foot and order. You would think people who make an effort to get down would be served quicker than those in cars. I can't even begin to count the number of full stamp cards I've gotten because of my long waits. I've had about 5 total and a $5 gift card after an employee refused to fix a drink that they messed up. I've even waited 45 minutes with my 16 month old for one drink that they "forgot" to make. Any parent knows how hard it is to wait that long with a 16 month old. Today the guy who was at the counter decided to hand out a million drinks before I could order. I was literally about to place my order when he told me to "hold on" because he had something to do. He then took forever handing the drinks out (which, not to my surprise, a lot were messed up so it took even longer). I finally got to order after waiting forever and the line behind me was huge. Definitely sick of this place and won't be returning. I'll stick with granite bay Dutch Bros. They're quick, friendly and efficient. read more

Tonight I had the best experience at this Dutch Bros Coffee. I find that Dutch Bros always has great staff but this time felt really special. The young man that assisted me was named Mauricio, he was engaging and kind. I explained that I was taking a few mental health days and staying at a local Hotel for some "me time". We talked about my family and how crazy things are with working from home and distance learning with 4 kids and how I was feeling overwhelmed and just needed a break. As I went to pull forward he said, "I'm going to take care of your drink tonight and hope you enjoy the rest of your mini-vacation". It was such a beautiful gesture and meant the world to me. In a crazy world, it's good to know there are still wonderful people out there. I want to say an extra thank you to his parents for doing a wonderful job raising such a respectful young man. I made sure to leave a $20 tip, I wish I could have left more. Thank you Mauricio! read more

I grew up on Dutch Bros so I'm thankful and happy that they have one here now. They're coffee is so amazing and the staff are friendly.

I love having a Dutch in Folsom but this location on is very inconsistent. I've picked up coffee for my coworkers and myself a few different Saturdays now and the coffee is wrong, it tastes like sweet milk.... during the weekdays I usually don't have this problem read more

my cat passed away this morning, and i went to dutch bros with my friend to cheer myself up. when i told the workers what was going on, they were extremely kind and comforted me. they upsized both of our drinks and gave them to us for free. the drinks tasted amazing (as always), but my experience tonight proves why dutch bros just hits different. they were kind to a stranger, and they passed up on potential revenue just to help me out. i am still recovering from how wonderfully i was treated tonight. i cannot say good enough things about this store and its employees. thank you so much to the amazing broistas for making this a little easier on me. i won't ever forget it :) read more

had to go with 4 stars. i come to this dutch bros daily (15 minute drive) and order the same thing every morning. have staff that recognizes me at this point since I've been coming for the last year. this morning im so sad, i asked for my 911 with the white coffee (good drink usually) and got STEAMED MILK, which made me sick off of first sip. unfortunately it was too hot and I didn't notice until i got home. now im out $6+ for the drink and 25% tip and my only option is to exchange it in a 25+ minute line due to having no walk ups. step up your game dutch. you weren't even busy when i ordered. read more

i love dutch bros coffee but this is the worst location yet! they are always messing up my orders so that makes me drive even farther to the other nearest one in granite bay because they actually know what they are doing. they need to pay attention and stop acting like they know what i'm talking about when they really don't because i've ordered the same drinks before and they always hand me a different drink. the only good nice thing about this location is some of the associates are very friendly and have great customer service, but not all. read more

Just had a bad experience this evening 9/30/19, arrived at 7:03 and left at 7:35pm. Two of us went through the drive through, but my friend was seeing if she could get her drink faster as a walk up customer. Two hot chocolates in a line full of cars through the drive through was MUCH faster, than an iced latte for walk up. All the picky teenagers who had ordered AFTER our friend on the patio had received their drinks BEFORE her. We are sitting in the VIP parking for about 20 minutes just waiting for our friend to receive her ONE iced latte. An overall 30 minute trip for three drinks. After we had finally received all three of our drinks, the drive through lane was empty and all other customers on the patio were taken care of well BEFORE us. Very disappointed with this experience & other experiences at this location with coffee grinds in the bottom of our drinks. This is not the first time our drinks have been made lazy and even instances where our orders have been taken wrong. I think this location REALLY needs to weed out or scold the lazy teenager employees with the attitude. read more
