I got hooked on this place when they first opened 2 years ago. Their specialty drinks are good, but extremely sweet. I prefer strong coffee, and their's was pretty good at first, and the staff is super friendly. In the past year it seems that their iced coffee has gotten stale and watery. I tried asking for extra shots (since their iced coffee is just iced americano) and less cream, but it is hit or miss whether the barista makes it correctly/to my liking. More likely than not they make it iced cream with some coffee, gross. Also, hardly ever do they charge the correct price. I have been overcharged, whether it be by a quarter or even a few bucks, at least a dozen times. I used to endure the ridiculously long lines and wait, but decided it wasn't worth it anymore. As other reviewers have said, they spend an unreasonable amount of time chatting with customers when the line is hanging out into the street. Recently switched back to Starbucks, and I'm so happy I did; they make my drink correctly every time, I am never miss-charged, and I'm through the drive thru in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I haven't been in a few months but service is still as great as ever. I normally don't post reviews but I wanted to give a shout out to the employee who helped me today, Ryan. I was in the drive thru and he seemed to be struggling with the customer in front of me, she even drove off while he was still talking to her (very rude). Ladies and gentleman, I present to you the valleys most incompetent staff. For the third time I have gotten a sunrise tea and they screwed it up. This time the couldn't get the order straight and gave me the wrong drinks so they have to fix it and the fixed order is so rushed it's water and not tea. Thanks for nothing. If I could give this place more stars I would double the amount. The customer service I received being an amateur coffee drinker was outstanding! They were super upbeat and instantly put me in a great perky mood as they patiently explained all the different types of drinks I may be interested in. Then having it be my first visit not only did they give me my drink for free but my daughters as well and punched my card several times! We tipped well after that! And then my second visit was very similar and I started having a talk with the cashier about being positive in life and she so got into the conversation as if I was super important. She then punched my card full for my positive attitude! Let me tell you, that encouraged me to drive out of my way to go to this location time and time again. I love Dutch Bros but more specifically, I love THIS Dutch Bros location. The baristas here are so awesome. They learn your name and your order. I usually get the Salted Caramel Mocha and my husband orders the Iced Starburst Rebel. So yummy! I cannot say enough good things about this location and I would give them 100 stars if I could. I was so sad when I moved away from Goodyear to the East Side. :( The Dutch Bros over here are good but no where near the experience that this location offers. You can tell they use powder mixes due to the grit texture. Prefer drinks that use a liquid mix. Always and I do mean it's always busy from what I've seen while on my way to Starbucks which is good for them. Bad if you are in a rush. read more

You drive in to Dutch Bros and what a huge breath of fresh air it is to meet so many excited young people who are genuinely happy to do their job. The drinks are delicious, but the best part about DB is that you always leave with a big smile on your face, a tiny bit happier than when you entered that (often very long) lineup of cars. We don't go too often because there is ALWAYS a lineup. This location recently remodeled to double the lanes, but instead of having a shorter wait, there are just more cars in both lanes. Why is this a 3...the coffee is fucking phenomenal..but the customer service is garbage.. I don't like the full length conversations and small talk when I'm waiting in line on my way to work or whatever. I go here because yes, the coffee is amazing but I wish the fake omg, how are you guys doing today!!?!?!? Bullshit would stop. You guys carry on 15 minute convos with people at the front of the line and just make the other customers wait. Most people are going to work or to a meeting etc and don't have time to chat or wait for you to high five each other...It's rude and unprofessional. read more

Let me start by saying they deserve 5 stars, except I took one off due to the LONG WAIT in line. However the coffee is GREAT, customer service is OUTSTANDING! I personally think they should have picked a location that allows for a longer line. I am always stuck out in the lane where poor customers of the grocery store are trying to get out. simply put...awesome employees + delicious coffee = a very happy experience! Starbucks has nothing on Dutch bros. when it comes to the friendliest, enthusiastic and genuine employees who treat you like you've been friends forever. The coffee is fantastic, you have to try all flavors. My fave to do with all of them is "blended and whipped". We frequent the DB in Goodyear so often, one of the employees knows which drinks we'll order! lol...it's the greatest environment, and fast service whether at the window or drive-thru. The coffee never fails to hurt my stomach in the long run and the workers here are just too chatty. I would like to order my coffee without being interrogated by the workers here, they just try too hard honestly. I feel like they would get a lot more business if they just stayed professional and kept the lines going fast. read more

We recently moved here from the east coast and I've never heard of a Dutch Brothers. I usually just go to Starbucks to get my black coffee. So when I saw this place near my house I said I'll try it out. But because of the long lines I was kind of hesitant but my sister urged me on. When I got up there I was greeted with a great smile and wonderful attitude and I never felt rushed. I could see why the lines were long but in all honesty when you're ordering your coffee with such a wonderful person and being engaged in a conversation without feeling rushed, the time went by and I didn't mind. I actually got my coffee for free because I was a first time customer. This totally drew me in. I felt so comfortable. I have come back ever since and every single time I'm greeted with the same attitudes and just wonderful people. While I was waiting in line it was during one of their shift changes and I saw them huddle in a group and I don't know if they were praying or just sending words of encouragement for each other butt this place is truly amazing the people they hire are truly amazing.
