I normally go to a different location but since this one is near my work and on the way to it, I decided to stop by since I had some time to kill before my shift. The service varies by who is working. Same is true in every Dutch Bros location. The reason to go is the coffee is roasted right. That burnt taste so common with Starbucks and many restuarants is not a part of my Dutch Bros experience. I really dislike that burnt taste. It motivates me to find a Dutch Bros outlet. Where I'm from, we don't have any Dutch Bros, but I heard so many things about it. I decided to give it a try. It definitely has a distinct vibe to it, quite different from anywhere else you would go. The drive-thru was packed with cars, so it obviously is very popular. The coffee was good, and if there were some in Tucson, I would definitely make a couple visits. However, I wasn't a fan of the walk-up dynamic. You wait at the window while they make your drink. With one window and 5 people in front of you, it gets a little annoying. Additionally, there were some regulars in front of me, so there was some small talk, which just made the wait even longer. It's obvious that the people who work there are SUPER friendly and very nice. Sometimes it feels a little awkward to the point, but perhaps that's just me. Additionally, I never was a fan of the whole "iPhone as a Card Reader" sort of thing, which is popular in small businesses, especially in Tucson. You feel pressured to tip more and it's a bit awkward on a small screen. Overall, good place. Just not the biggest fan of their dynamic. After trying Dutch Bros for the first time one Sat night 3/26 (Alma School location)I thought i would give them a try on my way to work.. WOW is what I will say. The girl taking orders in the drive through had a big smile and up beat attitude. The baristas inside all seemed like they were having a great time. They all made contact with us and made us feel welcome. In these days of corporate robots it's great to see people actually enjoying their job what they are doing. And sharing that excitement with all the customers. And once again my chai tea latte was delicious. I may never go back to Starbucks! read more

Some of the workers are VERY rude at this location specifically and they are getting VERY stingy with their water cups. They used to give water cups with a straw and lid now they are saying that they can't. The customer service and quality is going downhill. Plus, the drinks are made poorly here. I love DB but after last weekend's unpleasantness, I'll go back to Dunkin. I sent the beau out early, before the massive crowds and I think it took longer than it nomally does. With two people in line at the walk up window he parked the car and figured he'd be in and out. Wrong. The person ahead of him must have been a friend of someone who came out the back employee entrance as they hugged hello. They stood chatting for about 5 mins (the person at the window had what he thought was a big order, found out later it wasn't but they had to remake the drinks) and he took her order and brought it inside. He came back out and took our two coffee order. Another five mins. go by and he finally reaches the window (at this point, the drive thru traffic he arrived with was about gone). Expecting to pick up one hot and one iced, he was surprised to find two iced. So the same guy who was outside and took the order offers to remake it. He returns to the window with the same incorrectly made coffee. So returns to the coffee area to remake the it one more time. In all this, the beau didn't realize that the large he ordered was made as a small. All around bad experience. Sorry Dutch Bros. just not worth it. Yes, your employees should be friendly but perhaps they should tell their friends to stay away during work hours so they can concentrate on accuracy. Dont go to this location!!!! I know dutch bros gets packed but that means everyong who is working should be working!!! It is so not necessary to have someone standing at the walk up window just to take your order and and talk to customers, especially when the line drive thru line is wrapped around the parking lot. Everyone should be making drinks for the customers sake!! Again it is soooo not necessary to have a 5 min conversation with every single customer. We dont care, we would rather have a coffee than stand there for 5 mins when we've been waiting in a 40 min line. The drinks are great and taste delicious. If i wasn't so addicted to the drinks I would probably never come here because of the employees. The employees talk to you for so long and ask the most random questions and make it completely awkward. I one time got asked if I had to be a cat or tiger what would I be. If they focused on taking orders faster then maybe also the line would probably move faster because If you are looking for a quick coffee don't expect to get it in under 20 mins. This place has various coffee flavors but most of them have chocolate in them which I cant drink. I tried their irish sumthing coffee but I didnt like it much. So I make my own coffee. The service is always energetic and friendly. I love the iced teas and I used to love their Dutch freezes but I cut back on those. I usually stick with their teas. The workers don't care how many different flavors you want mixed in to your teas they will be happy to do it for you. In my opinion this dutch bros is the worst in the valley. They are lazy, slow, and ALWAYS make my drink wrong. I have been going to dutch bros coffee for 2 years. Usually going to the ones in Tempe and gaud/McQueen but since recently moving towards this one I always think it will be faster to go to this one. I am always wrong. It would take me the same amount of time to drive 20 minutes out of my way to another and wait in that line then wait in this one. They don't pull there shots like they should and because of it I have to wait an extra 20min in their line. I have spent and hour in one of there lines before!! That's ridiculous. What is this location doing wrong. Why do I wait in a long line at McQueen and Guadalupe that will typically take 15 minute and move the same line to this location and it takes an hour. Obviously they are being trained wrong. Corporate seriously needs to take a look at this stand. If they forget something in a drink they just add said flavor in after making it way to sweet. Or sometimes have just not even cared and just passed the drink out anyways. I will personally never go to that stand ever again. I've been going and going hoping it's just a fluke but again I am proven wrong. They just actually suck. All of them are in desperate need of being retrained. OR NEED A NEW TRAINER.
