As expected for a newly opened location, the line was really long, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it moved. They have 2 drive-thru lines, and the staff does a good job keeping things organized and efficient. I ordered a large protein Golden Eagle with cookie dough pieces on the side. Unfortunately, after I received my drink, I realized the cookie dough pieces never came. The employee who handed me my drink had already moved on to helping the cars behind me, and I didn't want to hold up the line, so I just left without it. The large size is definitely huge, so you get plenty of drink for your money. The coffee itself was decent, but it wasn't very strong. If you prefer a bolder coffee flavor, this might taste a little on the sweeter side.

Literally been waiting for months for this Dutch Bros to open, and it is finally here! We are beyond happy to have one right in our area. Every single day, we've been driving past Highland Peak just to see if the doors were open yet. The other day, we spotted some activity and decided to pull in and check it out. It turns out they were running a exclusive "Friends & Family" soft opening--but the team was so unbelievably nice and generous! Even though it was invite-only, they accommodated us with open arms and gave us the absolute best experience. The staff members were super patient, incredibly kind, and hooked us up with three free drinks for everyone in our car! It was just an amazing vibe all around. A massive shoutout to Ivann and Will for going above and beyond! Love that there are two separate entrances and exits, which makes getting in and out so much easier. Anyone who knows this area knows how crazy traffic can get! My suggestion is to enter through Palm Avenue. They are officially open now, and we couldn't be more excited. We'll definitely be coming here all the time, so I'm sure we'll be familiar faces in no time. Keep up the amazing work, National City Mafia!

Yet another Dutch Bro's in San Diego so I had to check it out. This location is right off the 805. Today is the second day open, we arrived around 10pm and it was still pretty busy. The line situation is being handled really well we did not wait long to order or get our drinks. Pro tip, always choose the inside line, it moves faster because it's shorter. We got some cool stickers and our usual favorites.

Thankful I went on a day where there were only 3 other cars there (Tuesday around 6pm), the service was great and so was my drink. The workers are so sweet and obviously they weren't rushed or backed up so they made my drink all cute and provided great conversation! However this is forsure one of those places I'll only go if the line is on the shorter side because I do know it can get pretty crazy.

I believe I have just found my new favorite coffee shop on Third ave. I've been here once before…read morebut this was my first time trying the food and holy moly! Lets talk about the vibes first...amazing decor and vibes, decor and walls and atmosphere is very cool and unique I truly love it so much. The staff is very nice, offering suggestions on drinks with big smiles and welcoming energy. Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

Maybe I didn't order the right thing, or maybe it was just an off day, but I probably wouldn't order that drink again. The picture looks promising but just not it. I actually brought one home for my husband to try as well, and without me even saying anything, he wasn't a fan of it either. I also have to say that when I first walked into the location, I didn't really feel a warm or welcoming vibe. I was hoping to have a better first experience, but unfortunately, between the drink and the overall experience, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe I just need to try something different, but for now, this one just wasn't a hit for us.

I got the Orange Dream latte because I've never tried a latte with orange in it, but it was delicious! Kind of like a vanilla latte with a citrusy aftertaste. The Piloncillo Latte was also delicious, and whatever oat milk they use is great, super creamy and not watery at all. The guy on the register was super nice and kind as well, and I really appreciate him going out of his way to give everyone in our party a unique recommendation. The location is super unique, historical and photographical, there's a little section for books and an art gallery next door. If I were in San Diego longer I would definitely spend the day getting some work done here. This is a new must go to location in SD for me!

My favorite is their orange latte. However, they recently changed their cups, and I will say it's made the richness of the coffee disappear. I think there is to much milk now. I was also surprised to see that they expanded their space that offers seating and a coffee shop! They use beans sourced from Philippines for their coffee. Good move on their end if you want to enjoy your filipino pastry with coffee or tea! My go to items rotate between the Spanish bread, pizza pandesal, and regular pandesal fresh from the oven. For my most recent visit, I was surprised to see they had the ilocos empanada available. Like i mentioned, its been a minute since coming here so not sure how long they've been making them. The last time i had an ilocos empanada was when visited Vigan Philippines in 2017! I ordered on in addition to a chicken empanada and pizza pandesal. I decided to check out the coffee shop and what made me backtrack was that they make calamansi tea (with either black or jasmine tea). Decided to order that and eat the ilocos empanada at the cafe while it was still warm. The ilocos empanada: big portion ($6). You can order with or without cheese ($7 with cheese). I opted without cheese because this is how i remember eating it. It also comes with a vinegar sauce. It was delicious. Perfect crunch. Perfect ratios of papaya, mung beans, meat and egg. Calamansi black tea - yummy as well. Not too sweet. Tasted good with the empanada. I will definitely be coming back for the ilocos empanada. They make them daily and often replenished throughout the day (according to the employee). Parking here may be tight if coming durinf busy hours since it shares the spaces with titas kitchenette (also delicious) and island pacific market as well as other small businesses in the strip mall.
