I usually order and pay ahead of time and my order is NEVER ready when it says that it's ready for pick up. I've had to wait an extra 10 minutes usually . Today, I wanted to claim my birthday reward (free drink) and ordered ahead. I still arrived a couple minutes past the time. I checked in at the window to let them know I was here and the response I get is that they're backed up. So I stand aside and wait for my name to be called. Fast forward 28 minutes later and I still don't have my order and the lady who ordered at the window is getting her order. Kate at Dutch Bros was absolutely amazing! Her patience was exceptional, especially considering we were in the drive-thru. She took the time to help my sister-in-law, my other sister-in-law, and me find our new favorite drinks without ever making us feel rushed. When I want a coffee treat, I always find my way to Dutch Bros! Vanilla cold brew with soft top and cream is silky smooth and always hits the spot. Yes, the line can be long, but I honestly try to avoid the weekends for this reason and if I end up there on a Saturday morning...the line moves quickly and the workers are always so sweet! Went into the Upland Dutch Bros this morning. I ordered 2 drinks, a sugar cookie latte with white coffee and a vanilla chai. While it's not my favorite drink, the sugar cookie latte comes with a soft top, sprinkles, and vanilla flavoring creating a sugar cookie like flavor. The sprinkles aren't sugar based, so it has an interesting addition. While I went, the drive thru was very crowded so we decided to mobile order while we stopped by the bank. There were quite a few people waiting outside. There's no inside seating offered only a few tables outside, making it more of a stop and go coffee shop rather than a sit down. Ordered ahead of time on the app and then had to wait in line 20 minutes while the two boys working behind the counter giggled like school girls and blasted the music at full volume. My drink had just been sitting there diluting the whole time while the ice melted. Then they give me a tiny straw for a drink with boba in it. The line was 15 deep and they had no sense of urgency. I'm writing this review specifically for the Dutch Bros location in Upland regarding a recent birthday visit. It was my birthday, and I was excited to order my free birthday drink, as I always enjoy the fun and quality Dutch Bros is known for. Unfortunately, the experience was an absolute disappointment. First, the drink itself was nearly undrinkable. It tasted like plain, watered-down iced black coffee with almost no sweetener or flavor, which is a major quality issue for a flavored beverage. Second, and perhaps more disappointing on a birthday, there was absolutely no decoration, cute writing, or even a simple birthday note on the cup. My friend recently visited for her birthday and received adorable, personalized writing on her cup, which is what I have come to expect and love about the Dutch Bros experience. The lack of effort and poor quality of the drink makes me wonder if there was a lapse in attention because the drink was complimentary. If that's the case, it's a poor business practice. Overall, this was an absolute disappointment, especially on a day meant for celebration. I just came back from this location this morning and ordered the new holiday drink- holiday jingle. It was my fault that I didnt taste my drink before leaving the store, but when I did taste it, it literally tasted like dirty sink water. On 4-17-26 at about 1110 I stopped in at the upland location for some liquid fuel. I had been riding my bike throughout town and I was feeling super sluggish after about 45 minutes in.So I rode my bike in to the drive through area. I was greeted by a young man named Lucas and a young gal named Allison. They recommended what I should order, a golden eagle frappe with coconut milk, based on what I told them I liked. It was refreshing and not too sweet. Definitely the right choice for me. I recommend this drink and place for anyone looking to fuel up. I was a tad bit confuzzled when I attempted to combine two coupons with my order but, everything worked out. I was very happy with the secret flavor chai tea I ordered. The ambiance of the new location was very pretty and the lines were long and its worth waiting for. The online ordering option was down and since it was our first time at Dutch bros, we looked around confused. I wish the employees put up a sign or let us know--we were in line for 30 mins. Upon ordering, I asked for recs, and we were helped by a female employee who recommended "gingerbread latte" and half way into her sentence she turned to the ordering window to chat with her coworkers. Afterwards, she went back to chatting with her coworkers & this is when they all chugged an energy drink on count of 3 in front of a line of customers lol. We got the Cocomo and Golden Eagle 50% sweet. Cocomo was quite creamy and Golden Eagle tasted like a typical Starbucks drink. I had a pretty good experience for my first time trying this place. There was no where to sit, but there is a huge drive thru with two lanes. When I got here I just ordered with the person at the window since there was no one in line. I didn't notice an area to order, or wonder if someone comes out to help with orders if there are more people. I was able to give the Golden Eagle hot with oat milk a try, and it was surprisingly delicious. All together the price was as much as a Starbucks with the Oatmilk around $7 something. The cup is unique with a different type of spout, and my drink was hot but not so much that I would burn myself. I liked coffee beans , and it definitely tasted strong. My eldest daughter and I were in Upland last week. We were on Foothill Blvd crossing San Antonio Ave and we saw Dutch Bros Coffee. It had a very long line of cars. You would think we would shy away from that long line. Nope, we drove right into it LOL. It's two lines that merge into one line eventually. They are primarily a drive-thru coffee joint or you may walk up to window and order. It was our first time here. Upon pulling forward, a young lady holding an iPad walked up to us and asked what we would like. And I'm like (in my head), we haven't seen the menu yet. Well, there was no menu to view from where we were in line. We could have viewed the menu online. I didn't bother... I just asked what she recommended. She said Golden Eagle is their most popular either in hot, iced, or blended form. So we went with the Golden Eagle iced with easy ice. She then took my credit card payment and the wait begins LOL... Well, it was about 30 mins wait from where we started in line to when we got up to the window. Funny, when we got up to the window, the lady at the window asked if we ordered the Golden Eagle iced with easy ice. I said yes. It turned out our drink was not made yet. I find this very funny because we might as well have ordered our drink at the drive-thru window LOL. Anyway, it didn't take them long to make our drink. When we got the drink, I noticed it was full of ice and not easy ice as I requested unfortunately. I should have asked for no ice so there wouldn't be any confusion LOL. Golden Eagle is a creamy breve with bold espresso, half and half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce topped with whipped cream and a caramel sauce drizzle. It was quite good actually. I downloaded the app prior to coming for the first time, and the app offers a free medium drink to new customers of Dutch Bros. I ordered a medium Golden Eagle, decaf, half sugar, less ice, and with their signature soft top. I arrived at 10AM, and it was very busy. I ordered ahead and promptly received my drink at the walk up counter, and the employee was very friendly to everyone. However, my drink was not very good. I know I ordered decaf, but it lacked any coffee flavor. The color of the drink was almost white, and the half and half taste was so strong that was all I tasted. This resulted in the drink being way too filling/heavy, and I only managed to drink half of it. I think I'd try some of their other drinks, but definitely not a great introduction to Dutch Bros. read more

Upon arriving, I checked in as instructed, but staff informed me they no longer had my drinks. No refund or replacement was offered. Instead, I was told that I could pay again and reorder, which is unacceptable. This is the first time I've ever encountered an issue like this at Dutch Bros, and it left a very poor impression. I later found out (after the fact) that Dutch Bros has a 10-minute pickup window listed in their Order Ahead FAQ. However, this policy was not clearly shown or emphasized during checkout on the app. At no point was I informed that my drinks would be discarded or that I would lose the order entirely if I arrived even slightly late.
