This morning around 9:10am, my order through the app was ready for drive-thru pickup. The wait was pretty long when comparing to the other coffee competition. With two cars ahead of me it took about 10 minutes to get to the window. The bro-ista was very friendly, happy, and greeted me with a smile. I should have gotten his name, but he did have blond hair, if that helps. So, he retrieved my pre-ordered drinks and handed them to me. He also noticed my Yorkie in the front seat and asked if I would like a pup cup, which I thought was great customer service. The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because I ordered a banana bread that I did not receive. I unfortunately did not remember about it until after 4pm today and I figured that's way too long to go back telling another person that I didn't receive an item from my order 7 hrs later. Stopped by a new Dutch bros today because it was 2x pts day!!!... While here, I decided to try the new SF Strawberry Vanilla Rose City Mist... I really like it. It's a sparkling and refreshing drink. I will say, because it has electrolytes, these drinks do have a little saltiness to them but it's not bad. Anyone who drinks electrolytes knows the flavor I'm referring to. I also ordered a coconut chocolate milk parfait style. They have some really good chocolate milk. It's creamy and rich for being premade and when mixed with these coconut it's a fun liquid play on an Almond Joy. Service was great even though they forgot to make the chocolate milk parfait style. I had not had the Dutch Brothers experience, but on a stop-over in San Bernardino, I thought I'd give it a go. I wanted coffee, just black coffee with no flavors or other additives, but they don't have that. All of their drinks are espresso based, so that means an Americano for me. The coffee was fine, hot, and tasty. I had two issues with Dutch Brothers. First, the ladies outside who takes orders are definitely chatty and friendly, but in my opinion, a bit invasive. They don't need to know where I am going or why. It isn't a social call. Second, I was in my car waiting in line for almost 30 minutes before I got my drink which is far too long to get a coffee on a stopover to get gas. It's coffee and it should be simple, fast, and hot. Which is a chocolate macadamia nut signature drink of theirs. We can't even try anything else! - for real, this one is just too good! 90% of the time we get it hot. It just seems to have more flavor. Plus you are not paying for 1/3 cup of ice. Stuck on this drink in a good way! We saw this location which seemed relatively newer and I made a beeline for the exit. This place was super busy on a Sunday afternoon. Since it's convenient off of the freeway, I think that's what made it so busy. There were people lining up at the pickup and three lanes of cars like a chick fil et, but it was so disorganized since each line did not move the same. It seemed like you'd just pay in the car, and they'll only make your drink when you get to the front of your line (40 min wait). They didn't even get our order right. I love that there is a location closer to home. There will be a lot of traffic when classes get let out from the university. Drinks are always good and made the way I order. Staff is nice. My only suggestion would be to close down one of lanes when it's slower. I'm reaching out because the experience at your store has gone from frustrating to downright ridiculous. I'm tired of having to repeat myself every visit, ask for extra items that somehow never make it into the drink, and then deal with attitude when I point out mistakes that shouldn't be happening in the first place. On top of that, the music is so loud that I can barely hear the employees--and apparently they can't hear me either, because they end up yelling back with an attitude as if I'm the problem. It's not a nightclub; it's a drive-thru coffee stand. There's no reason customers should have to raise their voice just to be understood or be snapped at when the order is wrong again. I'm genuinely trying to stay patient, but this has been happening consistently, and it's honestly gotten embarrassing on your end.
