3 stars because it was our first visit to this location and we watched as an employee stood on the drink prep counter to reach a high shelf, barely wiped at a small part of the counter she stood on, and left the rag on it for the rest of the time we were at the window. Icky. We mentioned it to the employee who handed us our drinks and she apologized, but that counter never did get properly cleaned while we were there. Otherwise we had a very standard Dutch Bros experience in terms of staff friendliness (excellent), drink quality (good), and wait time (not that long per car). This particular location is very convenient if you're blitzing up the I-5 north and want a caffeine source in sight of both the offramp and the onramp. Would do again but hopefully no shoes on the counter next time. read more

A terrific cup of iced coffee and a stroke of good luck calls for 5 stars. A friend of mine has been sending me Snaps drinking this coffee on a daily basis while in Oregon for a summer trip. I didn't know the reason, but I'm glad I found out today. I just helped my sister move into her dorm at Chico State and right before getting on the 5 to go back home, I saw this place. I decided to give it a try. Decently priced and conveniently a Drive Thru right next to a gas station (really cheap gas too! 3.19 for midgrade). I lined up and got their original called "The Kicker." I bought one each for my parents and I and we fell in love. My mom and I are both big coffee lovers so we were very impressed with the simplicity and good taste of the drink. Thumbs up Dutch Bros! I finally was able to check out a Dutch Brothers Coffee!! I didn't have an opportunity the last time I was in Arizona, and was happy I could stop by while in the Willows area. Make sure you have an idea of what you want to order before stopping by, since all the Dutch Bros Coffee locations I saw in this area were just drive-thrus that also had a walk up window. They only have a short menu with the holiday offerings, and that's it. This particular location has a drive thru on both sides, so you can get in and out quickly. I was the third car in line around 8am on a Saturday morning, and it took me less than 10 minutes to get my coffee. Luckily, the girl taking my order was really nice and let me know that the White Chocolate Mocha and Carmelzilla were two of their more popular drinks. I opted for the White Chocolate Mocha (w/Soy, Medium/$4.75, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Io2Sd6Lrt9WzcnsjRtHryw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg) at a quarter sweetness, and it was perfect since I don't like my coffees sweet. Dutch Bros is such a treat. They have an incredible selection of sweet drinks like the annihilator which has chocolate macadamia milk and one with Irish cream!!!! They're soo good. But be careful, you might want to order the drinks for with half or quarter sweetness. The hot chocolate is really good too. This location was fast and a good stop on the way to Davis from Redding. I had never heard of Dutch Bros Coffee, we definitely don't have any of these in the bay area, but on a road trip, my friend told me I had to try it. There was an employee taking orders outside and I definitely had no idea what was on the menu, nor could I see it from where the car was in line. That didn't matter because the woman who served us gave us the low down on the menu. She was so sweet to help us out in choosing a coffee. They have a lot of options here, but I ended up choosing the "grasshopper." It had mint flavor in it, and usually I am not a fan of mint, but it wasn't overpowering. I really enjoyed my drink and was really satisfied with the excellent customer service we were given. read more

I love Dutch Bro's and this location did not disappoint... not quite the same high energy as the Sac area locations but they were very nice and quick. On a positive note the line was significantly shorter than I am used to but that I'm sure was due to the small population of the area (and to those previously complaining about the lines, this is a normal thing at Dutch Bro's cause they rock. In Sac we often have lines at both windows at least 10 cars long, its worth the wait!). And the store was a lot bigger than any of the Sac locations. She was definitely there to do her work, and enjoyed doing it. Coffee order was taken, drink and friendly conversation was made in probably under a minute. Conversation definitely didn't feel forced and it was nice knowing customer service like this is still out there! I don't know what my dad ordered but it was pretty good. I was on a very long road trip and in a hurry and I really didn't want to stop, but my passenger wanted his afternoon coffee.
