Met some people out near the airport. It was hot outside, it was hotter inside. Drinks were DB standard, and the place was pretty clean except for one table of chaos that I believe they were just too busy to handle. Drinking iced coffee was the only way I survived the heat in there and I kept suggesting to my sweating friends we go someplace that was below or equal to the fairly hot outside temperature. Barista forgot to steam my milk and handed me a cold drink. When I returned it, she yelled back to her co-workers that it wasn't warm enough...She seemed annoyed I didn't want cold milk in my latte. Our other drink in the order was missing all the syrups and was light in the coffee. Very poor service. We visit this location because its 24 hours but its not worth the horrible service and errors in our drinks during late hours. read more

I stopped by this Dutch Bros with a friend before a dance competition nearby. We used the drive-thru and were in and out in under five minutes. We ordered, paid, and got our drinks super quickly. I ordered a medium hot decaf golden eagle and it was made perfectly. It was hot and actually had decaf in it, something that other places sometimes mess up. The girl working the window was super nice and worked quickly and efficiently. The drive-thru was easy to find and navigate and easy to get in and out of. I was expecting it to be much busier on a Saturday morning, especially when it's right next to the airport and there were multiple events taking place at the hotels nearby. This location is close to the Portland International Airport and the drive-through is open 24/7. Their menu has a lot of customizability with the ability to get their drinks cold, hot, or blended. You can choose your level of sugar and can even get them sugar-free. I got the double torture half sweet which was still a little too sweet for me but as it sat in the ice it got a little better. Something that was shocking to me was the amount of sugar in their drinks. I was so surprised to see the number of grams on even their medium-sized drinks. If you're worried about consuming sugar I'd recommend the "ignorance is bliss" approach of not checking the nutritional facts online or just getting your drink sugar-free. read more

After listening to "How I built this" podcast about them, I was curious to check out Dutch Bros, and recently had a chance when I went to the airport to drop off some family. The location has this industrial/factory type feel to it. It is very spacious though, and tall ceilings. There is some seating but they have done well to not crowd it up. It was clean. The staff was nice and laid back with clothing to match the demeanor. The service is quick. You need a code for the restroom. I got this "COCOMO" i.e. coconut mocha. After landing in Portland, my husband and I stopped by here unexpectedly for a quick pick-me-up since a restaurant we were looking to have lunch at a few doors down happened to be closed. I was looking for something cold and refreshing, so I ordered a sugar-free raspberry green tea. They have quite a list of flavors to choose from but I ended up choosing a flavor I was most familiar with to play it safe. My husband ordered their nitro cold brew coffee which is what he typically orders from other coffee shops. I surprisingly enjoyed my beverage, but unfortunately, the nitro cold brew coffee here lacked an impactful flavor worthy of a good impression. As for service, it was friendly and fairly quick which I give it that. If I decide to come back to Dutch Bros again, I would probably just stick to a cold sugar-free beverage and avoid ordering coffee which is odd to say since Dutch Bros is a coffee chain and I love a good Cup of Joe everyday, but just not here. read more

This place is deserving of 5 stars but we decided 4 stars since the inside seating areas could use a little more cleaning attention, perhaps its because this is open 24/7? Drink was ok, but you go through a drive thru to be quick about it. The person in front of me was bullshitting with the guy taking orders so long that he ended up at the window without putting his order in ahead of time. Then when he got his drink he bullshitted with the person at window another 3+ mi after getting his drink while we all sat there. It was extremely rude to the rest of us (at least 5 cars) behind him. It's really hard to find any fault with this Dutch Bros. They do drive-thru and walk-in (during daylight hours), they're open 24/7 and they're right next to PDX. Perfect for me to stop by on my way to the office or for a coffee on one of the late-night cutover work we sometimes do in the PDX area. Never really figured out why they don't do just regular drip, but I've resigned myself to Americano with oat milk and sugar. A large is close to $4 so it's not for every single day, but it's nice to know it's there for my fix on those days where I know I'll be dragging ass. I stopped in to the Dutch Bros near PDX this morning. I was greeted by two friendly ladies. I didn't get their names, however, I needed to write this review immediately because of their friendliness and the cleanliness inside. We were chatting and I mentioned how I just moved to PDX and wanted to try the coffee as I saw signs along the highway driving through Oregon. The woman cashiering gave me my money back stating the first one is on them. How awesome!! Their kindness made my day. I had just finished interviewing at PDX and my situation is not perfect. The ladies also welcomed me to Portland and said they hope I get the job. That alone will keep me returning to Dutch Bros. I ordered an Americano. The coffee is good & hot and not overpriced like that national chain with the green logo. This establishment looks very cool on the inside. I'm thinking it could be my new getaway. Don't bother w/this place. There was one car in front of me, casually chatting with the barista at the drive-through. Seven minutes later... I am still behind that one car who is having a conversation about the flavor of marinara sauce with the barista. Eight minutes into their conversation, the car finally drives off. It was evident that she had received her drink at the start of their conversation and no drinks were exchanged through the drive-through window during these 8 minutes. Once I got to the window, I advise the barista that I no longer wished to get a drink, as my time was already gone. To which she replied, "Her mother just died and I couldn't cut her off." Please note that they had not been talking about a death in the family. The entire eight minute conversation was about flavors of marinara sauce. Seriously?. Until this location hires someone with better customer service skills, I will NOT be returning. I am a local businessman and I will be encouraging my employees not to go there either. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Came from an early 6 am flight and all I wanted was a coffee for my drive home. The young man (who was the only male working, 5 girls behind him) came to the window didn't even say good morning and said "hey" I gave him my order and while it seemed like he didn't even listen it was more apparent when I got the drink back and it was awful. No flavor, nothing I asked for. Avoid this location like the plague. I'm not sure how that guy has a job, but the longer he works there the more money this location will lose. There was trash all in the front as well. I decided to give Dutch one more chance, and this experience is the final nail in the coffin. I went to Starbucks to redeem my experience. This Dutch was super cool! We went after a late late flight landing and the barista was very nice and helpful. We had our dog and she wanted to be just as sweet to her as nice. Not only was the service great, but this is a rare Dutch that has a big inside to sit down. It is super cool in there too.
