I LOVE their 24699 S.E. Stark location! Excellent coffee, juice, and pastries! They've created a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that I have enjoyed many times. The parking lot is HUGE, which makes it perfect if you're hauling a trailer or have a big rig. This is usually a great place to grab a great cup of coffee; however, today there were 2 cars in front of me and I thought that wasn't too bad so I drove into the drive thru...big mistake! I waited close to 1/2 hour for a drink! I was hemmed in and couldn't get out of line once I realized it was going to take awhile! I had no idea it would take close to 30 minutes to get a drink!! Generally very long wait lines, sometimes as long as 15 minutes at times. They seem understaffed a lot of time. But catch them when they are not busy and its decently made. If you see many cars, try to avoid. read more

I don't ever leave reviews for coffee shops but I had to for this one. Usually they're super friendly at any Black Rock I go to.. But they're always so rude here. Like they just seem so put out and don't try to be friendly whatsoever. I work at a coffee shop, a drive thru too so I understand the dynamics. I get not being overly friendly like Dutch Bros. Hands down the best service I've ever received at drive through coffee. It was fast. The guy on the iPad took our order and struck good conversation. He seem genuine and helped us with the menu as well. When we pulled up the girls were so bubbly and kind they gave me my chai quickly and had incredible energy. Also the chai 10/10 loved it. I love black rock and I was SO excited to have my new morning/before work coffee drive thru. But MAN! This place is SLOW! I was literally late to work this morning when I should've been 15 min early. Granted, a car in front of me had ordered "a bunch " of coffees per the girl working the window. Might I suggest, that that car should've pulled over and parked while one person made their coffees so the second girl working could've taken further orders and made subsequent coffees... To keep the line moving. I hope they'll take some suggestions. Or work on efficiency because I'm not willing to leave THAT early just to get my morning coffee. This location is the worst the young ladies at the window will make you wait while the finish a conversation with there friends in drive through. When I asked to maybe reserve conversation for after work I was told my drink was not ready. It doesn't take two minutes to make a hazelnut mocha. And rolling your eyes at the customer is a really bad idea. This similar situation happened on numerous occasions. If you want a tasty drink but a bad experience here is where you belong. The first time I went to black rock I was sitting at the drive thru menu speaker for over 15 minutes with no communication. Just to have my drink made wrong. Next time I went there wasn't a wait but again the drink was wrong. Its not that hard to mix 3 ingredients as someone who does this for a living. And today was the last straw, the girl on window must have been drunk. She couldn't seem to get more then a few words out without stuttering. Couldnt pronounce our order total. They don't listen to you when you order, I've had them cut me off in the middle of ordering. I've corrected my order when they repeat it back to me, they still give me the wrong drink. Ask for alternative milk, still get dairy. Get a fuel instead, only get two of the flavors when you asked for three. "Is it okay if we make it extra sweet" NO!! I have gone here more than five times and had them make my drink wrong every time. Then the employees are at the espresso machine talking smack when I ask them to re-make my $8 drink again.. save your time and go to the small business shop next to Arby's.
