they need new staff sorry i know that's a bold statement but this is not the vibe dutch is supposed to have. dutch vibes are unmatched to any corporation and this dutch does not serve the same dutch i know from grant pass. the window person just seemed so done and i understand they probs had a rough day or something (but it was 10 am) but their attitude was good when talking to fellow employees but annoyed when talking to customers. and why were there 5 line busters? 2 of them were just standing there by themselves (so didn't look like training) and there were about 7 cars max in line, no need for more than 2 line busters there. i did mobile order and waited an extra 15 mins for my two drinks. one of those drinks was the brownie batter and they put about 8 brownie bits in my drink, i was expecting more... and i saw one of the employees pour a bunch of brownie bits into another cup... i liked my drink i got an americano with cream and with soft top. i have no complaints with the flavor. dutch corp, you know what dutch is supposed to be like. it's bad vibes here. help. read more

My eldest daughter and I were in Upland last week. We were on Foothill Blvd crossing San Antonio Ave and we saw Dutch Bros Coffee. It had a very long line of cars. You would think we would shy away from that long line. Nope, we drove right into it LOL. It's two lines that merge into one line eventually. They are primarily a drive-thru coffee joint or you may walk up to window and order. It was our first time here. Upon pulling forward, a young lady holding an iPad walked up to us and asked what we would like. And I'm like (in my head), we haven't seen the menu yet. Well, there was no menu to view from where we were in line. We could have viewed the menu online. I didn't bother... I just asked what she recommended. She said Golden Eagle is their most popular either in hot, iced, or blended form. So we went with the Golden Eagle iced with easy ice. She then took my credit card payment and the wait begins LOL... Well, it was about 30 mins wait from where we started in line to when we got up to the window. Funny, when we got up to the window, the lady at the window asked if we ordered the Golden Eagle iced with easy ice. I said yes. It turned out our drink was not made yet. I find this very funny because we might as well have ordered our drink at the drive-thru window LOL. Anyway, it didn't take them long to make our drink. When we got the drink, I noticed it was full of ice and not easy ice as I requested unfortunately. I should have asked for no ice so there wouldn't be any confusion LOL. Golden Eagle is a creamy breve with bold espresso, half and half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce topped with whipped cream and a caramel sauce drizzle. It was quite good actually. All the ingredients were very well balanced. I would get it again, but with no ice next time. Is it worth the wait? Well, it depends on how bad you want Dutch Bros LOL. You decide! read more

On 4-17-26 at about 1110 I stopped in at the upland location for some liquid fuel. I had been riding my bike throughout town and I was feeling super sluggish after about 45 minutes in.So I rode my bike in to the drive through area. I was greeted by a young man named Lucas and a young gal named Allison. They recommended what I should order, a golden eagle frappe with coconut milk, based on what I told them I liked. It was refreshing and not too sweet. Definitely the right choice for me. I recommend this drink and place for anyone looking to fuel up. LOCATION: Great location in Upland in the shopping plaza of Sprouts and on busy foothill blvd. Right next to Upland High School as well. Although lines can be long, the parking lot is big enough if you want to stop and order in person. The lines were clear with two lines and got my drinks pretty quickly. SERVICE: Phenomenal service from younger workers! Great experience overall and what I believe makes this place unique, fun, and lively. Great service overall! DRINKS: We tried the peach lemonade and the electric blue lemonade both at 50% sweet and they were still very sweet! I would be aware most drinks are extremely sugary. This was my very first visit to Dutch Bros. I'm not a coffee drinker, but lately I been so lazy I felt I needed something to wake me up. I went online and reviewed the menu before getting in line. Let me tell you, they got it going on here! I was very impressed with the service here. Drive thru was a breeze. They had two employees taking orders. By the time we got up to the window we paid, got our drinks fast and that was it. Service was fast & friendly. I loved my drink, ordered the Camp'n freeze it was delicious. I downloaded the app prior to coming for the first time, and the app offers a free medium drink to new customers of Dutch Bros. I ordered a medium Golden Eagle, decaf, half sugar, less ice, and with their signature soft top. I arrived at 10AM, and it was very busy. I ordered ahead and promptly received my drink at the walk up counter, and the employee was very friendly to everyone. However, my drink was not very good. I know I ordered decaf, but it lacked any coffee flavor. The color of the drink was almost white, and the half and half taste was so strong that was all I tasted. This resulted in the drink being way too filling/heavy, and I only managed to drink half of it. I think I'd try some of their other drinks, but definitely not a great introduction to Dutch Bros. read more

This place is so bad. Every single time it fails. I work right across the street so I only ever get it when management wants to pay but it always is so nasty. The iced drinks are all ice, it takes up more than half the space in the cup. I even included a picture of one time that I drained out the nasty chai to show the amount of ice. Aside from that when you order online and asked for whipped or soft top they NEVER put it, even though the soft top costs extra. Upon arriving, I checked in as instructed, but staff informed me they no longer had my drinks. No refund or replacement was offered. Instead, I was told that I could pay again and reorder, which is unacceptable. This is the first time I've ever encountered an issue like this at Dutch Bros, and it left a very poor impression. I later found out (after the fact) that Dutch Bros has a 10-minute pickup window listed in their Order Ahead FAQ. However, this policy was not clearly shown or emphasized during checkout on the app. At no point was I informed that my drinks would be discarded or that I would lose the order entirely if I arrived even slightly late. This location is by far the worst location I have been to. I have tried this location several times and 9 out of 10 times they get my order wrong. I have dietary restrictions and when it's wrong it could harm me. When I go back and tell them it's wrong they give me major attitude like it's my fault they made the order wrong. Also on several occasions the employees that are in the drive through but not working walk to the drive through window and skip the line to get their order faster. This location is not managed well and they are very unprofessional. I would recommend other Dutch Bros locations over this one, and if you can't travel out of area just go to a different coffee place. I unfortunately would give zero stars if possible. read more

Dutch Bros is a fast food coffee chain located all around the U.S. known for their specialty drinks and muffin tops. This particular drive through was hard to enter, but the person taking our order outside was super nice! The chocolate chip muffin top was kind of cold and tasted like a mix between a scone and a cookie. The iced Golden Eagle tasted average and both were kind of expensive for the quality. First time ever trying Dutch Bros. and it was a wonderful experience. We were going to try the drive thru but there were lots of cars when we went. We ended up just doing a walk up order. I got the hopscotch zero sugar added protein latte. I typically drink my coffee black so I found this drink too sweet even with zero sugar added. I visit this location at least 3 times a week and at first thought it was my imagination on service. I always leave a tip and courteous to staff. Recently, I get in line and was 1 car behind and then a car pulled up in the next lane. The same staff immediately went to service the car in the next line first. When asked about, I get they rotate lanes...got that. Okay, so then why they take that car and then the car behind it and then come to my lane? Now, 2 cars back. We waited 45 mins to get drinks total, and 30 of those minutes were AFTER our order had been taken. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the Fontana locations instead. read more

I really like Dutch Bro's I was super excited to see one opening up in upland ca My daughter and I decided to go on a Tuesday morning. The line was already crazy, but we thought we wanted it We'll just wait. We got in the line and this is where it began. It was so unorganized first of all if it's your first time there's nowhere for you to see a menu while you're in line, then you have a young lady coming with her IPad to take your order again if you've never been here it's kind of hard to know what you want so we went ahead and placed our orders , it took us a few minutes because again we couldn't see a menu that far back had to look it up online ,she tells us what car we need to get behind in order to be in the right place once we get up to get our drinks, no one followed it. We ended up three cars behind that car. We're supposed to get in because people were just getting in wherever they could once there was a split. It was an absolute disaster. We were in that line for almost 40 min!! And there's nowhere we can just get out of it we're stuck! I understand it's a newly opened establishment, but it makes no sense to place your order ahead of time and then have to wait another 30-40 minutes to get your drink So we finally get to the line to receive our items there was cars getting their drinks two cars behind the car that was in the actual window like I said it was just a disaster then those people are trying to get out of the line and causing more confusion and other people that are trying to get out, it was just an absolute mess . unfortunately to top it off, our drinks were not even good. One tasted too much like coffee wasn't made well One was very bitter and very watered down the last one was very artificial tasting. It was horrible absolutely horrible. I've had Dutch Bro's before. Based on Saturday's visit, 7/13/24 around 5:40pm: Wondering what all the hype is about at this new Dutch Bros coffee shop that opened up recently in Upland. We noticed the incredibly LONG, LONG line of cars at the drive-thru so while hubby picked up our daughter's dog at PSS, I went straight to the walk-up window to place an order. Lucky for me, at that time, there was NO line. Ordered a Golden Eagle Blended Freeze (Caramel & Vanilla coffee drink with caramel drizzle) & it was good; perfectly ice blended with the right touch of sweetness. Most importantly, didn't have to wait long. I also got a pup cup for our furry friend. The customer service here is top-notch--doesn't matter who you talk to, they're always on it. Honestly, they're the best part of the whole experience and such a vibe. They never make you feel like you're bothering them and are always happy to help you figure out what drink to get if you're unsure. If you're not happy with your drink, they'll remake it no problem. You can ask for more or less sweetness, or sauces, and if something's off, they'll fix it. Mistakes happen, but if you're polite and patient, they'll take care of you. As for the line, I honestly don't mind it. If there wasn't a line, I'd be more concerned. I love seeing a busy place, and they're really good at moving things along. Even if a car that ordered after me in line somehow gets in front of me, they'll come outside and bring it to my car. It's a shame this location has a 3.3-star rating--seems like some people just don't have much patience. I've never had a bad experience here. They're upfront about what's in their drinks, so you can always find something that works for you.
