I started coming to this location since I switched jobs and the young employees here are so nice and friendly. I know Dutch is required to try to keep a convo going with you which I am not a fan of when I'm on my way to work and people are in a hurry. It sucks having to wait 10+ mins for a drink when the person in front of you already has theirs and Dutch employees just keep talking up a storm. Not ideal for early mornings when everyone is trying to go to work. Also not a fan of them being required to ask for tip. So awkward and weird. read more

Y'all already know I'm the biggest Dutch Bros fan! I was so thrilled to be spending Thanksgiving in Washington/Oregon because I know DB is popular around there. I'm originally from Norcal and while there are a few DB locations, it's not that popular and it's far from the city where I grew up. My brother-in-law's sweet mom saved up some coupons for me since she knew I was visiting and on my first day here they took me to satisfy my cravings. My usual order is a Ninja Turtle which is a standard drink that's made with chocolate milk, I think the girl at the window was new because she asked me what kind of milk I wanted in it? That confused me because the many times that I've ordered it at other locations I've never been asked that question. She also asked if I wanted it as a mocha or latte? which was confusing too because in espresso drink terms, a mocha is a type of latte.I felt bad for her because my bro-in-law ordered a drip coffee and she asked what that was LOL it reminds me of when I worked at Starbucks in college I didn't know what a drip was either ha ha! Can't say enough good things about Dutch Bros and especially this location. Everyone who works here is so kind, and always gives 110 on customer service. I love the peach sugar free rebels. I also love bringing my dog (a giant German shepherd) here because they give him pup cups (whip cream in a cup w a doggy treat) he gets so excited as soon as I turn into the driveway. Service used to be good. It's done downhill. Too busy socializing with each other and not paying attention to what the orders are. Constantly makes drinks way too sweet even when asking only 1/4 sweet. Last time I went the barista wasn't too polite. No longer going to that location if any. Sent an email to customer service and NEVER got a response. Not even any acknowledgment. Still have money on my app and unfortunately it's gonna sit there. Not to mention before they started the app the drink punchcards never expired. Now with the app you're forced to use your points, that you want to save for a rainy day, before they expire. Honestly, I avoid this location like the plague. I love Dutch, don't get me wrong, and I don't like leaving negative reviews, but on the occasions I have stopped here it's either taken a really long time for my drink, or the baristas has been incredibly unprofessional. Unless you're a friend of the barista, or have plenty of time on your hands, I'd make the 5 minute drive in either direction to visit a better Dutch location. read more

If your a student or just an adult looking for some great coffee, this is the place to go! The prices are stupidly cheap and the quality is better than Starbucks which should be renamed 6bucks. I personally recommend a peach smoothie with a hint of mango. But most everything there amazing! The only con is the lines are quite long but other then that it's to die for. Tried it for the first time and was sorely disappointed. I'm not a coffee snob and I'm not even that picky about my coffee I just don't like it bitter or watery. I ordered an iced coffee and when I got to the window to pick it up the gal said here's your iced americanCan't remember the exact $ but it was near $4 First of all I asked for coffee not Americano but didn't say anything secondly that's more than Starbucks and lastly , it wasn't more than coffee flavored water. There are a couple of times that they may have got my drink wrong, but they were always so kind and redid my drink. I love all the staff there!!!! Dont get me wrong okay, i love dutch bros, the workers, atmosphere, i go there at least once a week... I have no complaints about the Fourth Plain Dutch but the 138th location sometimes im not happy with my drink but i get what i get and i dont complain. But today i purchased a blended white chocolate annihilator that tasted amazing i felt something very strange on my tounge. It was a hard piece of black plastic... This isnt the first time ive has plastic in my drink either, its the second or third! This time is was multiple pieces, large and small. There were tiny ones at the bottom of my drink that i found once it melted a bit! ... i have pictures to show it all. I used to drive Dutch bros. iced kicker everyday after lunch. Recently the taste is just not the same. It's actually pretty gross to drink. A month ago I purchased an iced kicker when they had renovations and it was fine to drink and once I drank it all I look and in the bottom of my cup was a paper. I got so grossed out so I didn't go there for about a month and today I just really wanted some Dutch and I was just disappointed. The taste is not pleasing and just taste like burned coffee. Flew into PDX last week and to be honest had never even heard of Dutch Bros. We got on Yelp to find some coffee that wasn't Starbucks or Peets. We went to a different Dutch Bros a few miles from here and the line was ridiculous so we took off. Seeing the line had me wondering like damn.. How good is this coffee? The lines were a tad bit long here too so we chose the one moving quicker. A nice gal came out and we told her the situation of us never having Dutch Bros before. She recommended some bomb drinks and when we pulled up to the window everyone inside was so damn nice. They were like I can't believe you've never been here before, you've been missing out on life. Philip.. The dude at our window was awesome and he took good care of us. Even gave us a few stickers to bring back to cali. I'm considering moving to the PNW just for the coffee haha. My drink list at dutch bros is: Coconut Milk Latte - coconut milk is way better than soy or dairy Americano with Whip- this is my quick "everyday" drink Dark Chocolate Raspberry Mocha- a once in a while treat Iced Coffee with a little cream- summer time It's not that Dutch Bros has the best coffee, that keeps people coming back. Just moved to Vancouver/Camas area, and decided to try out Dutch Brothers day one of moving here. Man it was awesome! the people were wicked friendly, welcoming me to the area. Gave me an awesome suggestions for coffee to try out. Day two of living here I went back for my morning coffee. They remembered me, from my name the drink that I tried out, to just moving here. Again wicked friendly. Even telling me awesome places to check out. Basically everything I heard the PNW was about! I would highly suggest this location! The music at the 192 and Mill Plain location could tone it down just a little. Kinda loud. I had my dog with me so it was nice that they had a treat on hand for him. Thoughtful. What I really like is that if it's busy enough they will send some poor bastard out in the rain with an iPad to gather orders so when you roll up, all you've gotta do is grab it and pay. Every time I go to the Dutch Bros on 138th, something gets messed up. I always order a HAND blended rebel and I don't think they've ever gotten it right. Just went about 10 minutes ago and they messed it up again. I usually go to the 24hour one on Mill Plain, but I thought I would give them another try. Disappointed again. Don't frequent this location. They only hire high schoolers who aren't committed to their customers. read more

My friends and I used to love Dutch Brothers a few years back. I'm not sure if they just became over-saturated in the Vancouver area and we got tired of it or if our taste in coffee changed. It might be a mixture of both. First of all, the employees... are extremely annoying. I feel somewhat bad saying this because it's the same at every location and I'm pretty sure that the company makes them behave this way. By "this way" I mean, OVERLY bubbly and chatty. I just want my beverage. I don't want to tell you what I'm doing today, or if I have plans for the weekend. I understand the point. I understand it's to portray friendliness, but it just comes across as fake. Meanwhile there's popular music blaring from inside of the stand. I've had incidences where they've made me feel really awkward. Once, years ago, one of them at this location "proposed" to me with a sign. I didn't find it particularly amusing, it was just weird and off-putting. My friend who was also in the car with me felt just as uncomfortable after witnessing it. The drinks at Dutch Brothers are notoriously sweet, so I've recently started opting for getting their teas. Before that I used to get their blended drinks quite a bit and once ordered a blended cocomo with coconut milk, at this location. I'm not joking when I say that literally half of our cups were filled with chocolate (the same friend who I was with in the experience prior). We didn't notice until we were already gone because it took a few moments for the chocolate to separate from the blended coffee. Really unappealing.
