The pool club is amazing , it's like you're at a resort . They have a kiddie section with water buckets and palm trees and two big water slides , the main pool area is huge and so clean, they have plenty of umbrellas and canopy's, as well as lounge chairs . Their food section is great as well, standard beach food like chicken fingers , hot dogs , burgers stuff like that . We love it there . We will continue to sign up every year it's worth it .

First part was just huge rocks which hey that can't be helped I get it. We walked down the other way which was okay. It was also sort of dirty I mean maybe off season okay I get it. Just the beach park in Oyster bay off season doesn't look like this. Since this is like our only beach/bay whatever I'll let things slide. I'm still annoyed just at the fact we barely get any beaches but that's a whole other issue (with the county whatever lol) Like Mineola is just the no beach for you! Except this one. Obviously yes we can go to literally any beach if you wanna pay non resident fees or go to actual real beaches Jones, long beach, robert moses etc. I'll just stop my ranting and it's not this beaches fault lol. I gave another star because I liked the poop bags everywhere available. Have to come back with our pup :P They also have great events here though it's been years I still have fond memories.

The park is right by the water with stunning views of the Whitestone Bridge. A great place for a calming walk or picnic. The park is dog friendly and there is parking before entering the former army installation area.

Believe the reviews: the staff here are incredibly aggressive. There is a right way to talk to…read morepeople, and then there is a hostile, nasty way--which is the default style here. ​The rules make no sense, either. The signs say "shower before getting into the pool," yet I was yelled at to shower just for walking to a lounge chair with my towel. If you have to shower the moment you step onto the deck, change the signs to reflect that. ​Dealing with the public is hard, but the staff here are completely miserable and looking for a fight. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Very spacious and clean pools. About 50-100 tanning lounge chairs to choose from. Very attentive lifeguards. Snack bar is available as well. A diving pool, Olympic pool, swimming lanes, adult section, and various feet of water to swim in. This is all included when you pay the one time fee for the day. So sad I only learned about them towards the end of the summer! They close on Labor Day. Will definitely make it a staple to come back next summer.

When our kids were young we use to join every…read moreyear and it was like them having a play date every time we went because all their friends were there also. It was great, they would have their fill of fun and then we could go home and rest. Now years later my wife and I joined the newly renovated pool with all new lounge chairs, locker and rest rooms and a new kiddie pool with a slide. It is a huge improvement. It was ok before and now it is so much better. We came here quite a bit this year and really enjoyed it. There is no food allowed by the pool area but they have a snack stand with tables and benches where you can either purchase food or bring your own. We had a very nice time this season and will join again next. They also have other amenities at the park such as tennis and a meeting room.

Three pools all together, two kiddie pools and a large one for older kids and adults with chambers for distance swimming and an area for diving with two diving boards. Lots of lifeguards on duty and lots of chairs and lounge chairs in both the sun and shade. There is also a lazy river, very cool. They even have several different size tubes and two seater tubes. There are games (large human sized chess game) and noodles for pool use (that must be checked out at front desk). There is a snack bar in the pool area that has chips, soda, ice cream, stuff like that no real food. Next to the pool is an ice skating rink (during winter) and during the summer there are games going on on the rink like basketball and ping pong. Both the pool and rink have bathrooms and locker rooms. Great place!
