I was traveling from AZ to CA when my Buick had some issues on the highway had to be towed to the dealership. The time was getting close for them to close as it was a Saturday. I called into the service department while ridding in the tow truck and spoke to Tyler in the service department. He was awesome and did everything he could to make sure he got all my details incase I didn't make it before closing. I did end up making it. Once I arrived he made sure I was going to be okay before everyone headed home for the weekend, considering I was from out of town. He called me first thing Monday morning to give me an update on the vehicle. He was AMAZING and I highly recommend going to see him if your vehicle needs service. While I was sitting outside waiting for a ride the owner Woody of the dealership came out and asked if I was okay and invited inside as it was a pretty warm day. LOVE that the owner was there at the dealership on a Saturday! We talked for a good 15 minutes and again he made sure I was going to be okay and had a ride set up to finish my trip. At no time did we feel pressured to buy and in fact our process was a bit complicated because of our trade in and they made it feel effortless. One star is TOO GOOD to be completely honest. On October 18 I took my car in for service. The engine was making a ticking noise that had gotten louder over time. The service department stated they would have it looked at within a certain period of time. I called for an update on my car after three weeks and was told they had not even begun to look at it, let alone diagnose the problem. After getting the manager involved they began tear down the following week after switching techs. I was told it was the cam shaft and the lifters. The total tear down took about another 3 weeks because of back and forth with extended warranty company. And that would put us at December 7th. From the 7th of December until the 18 of December they were waiting on parts that were on back order. By this time it had already been 2 months and all that had been done was the tear down and authorization of the work from the warranty company. After they got the parts on December 18 they started to put the parts back together on my vehicle. It is now over 3 weeks later and they still have my vehicle. I have been told every three or 4 days that the time of completion has been pushed back. This is completely unacceptable and has taken way too long. I would NEVER EVER BRING MY VEHICLE HERE AGAIN. If you are looking for a place to service your Cadillac, GMC, or Buick DO NOT TAKE IT TO DUTTON MOTOR CO. In Riverside. LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. They worked on my GMC Denali last year replacing all 8 cylinders under warranty. When I got the car back it was still running rough. Last week my car started smoking from the tailpipe and the check Engine light came on. I brought it in to them and they told me that their mechanic was on vacation for a month so it wouldn't even be looked at until then and that I would be responsible for the rental car. UPDATE: An hour after I left my poor review, I received a text from them saying they were going to get me the floor mats. Once they had them, I took the 40 minute drive, each way, to pick them up. When I got home I looked at them and they had bought the cheapest floor mats they could find. I can understand that and wouldn't have complained, except that when I went to put them in they didn't even come close to fitting. So, I contacted them and let them know they were the wrong ones. They responded by telling me they ordered them using my VIN number, which was a lie. They gave me the actual invoice that showed that they ordered generic floor mats for a 2023 Mercedes (without bothering to put the model of the car). I called them out on their lie and they asked me to either come in (another 40 minutes each way) or send a video. So I sent a video of me trying to put them in, showing them that they were way too big and the holes to secure the floor mats didn't even come close to lining up. That was about 3 weeks ago and they've never replied. This place is horrible! Don't buy your car from them, they're cheap and they will lie to you. Horrible experience! read more

Im beyond shocked at the Cadillac Customer Service here. My SRX 2014 was called in for a recall for the Toe Link Separation. Aside from the recall, the cue screen is made of plastic; has never worked, therefore I have limited use to the cars full technical functions. Also during the hurricane water entered from the top of the car frying the lift gate module. My alarm goes off periodically, the car doors sensors don't work, lift gate won't open & lights won't shut off. I have to unplug the battery every night to avoid this issue. I called corporate office & had a rep help me address these PENDING RECALLS (many customers have the same issue) & they were going to have these guys conduct a diagnostic to confirm the damages. Was informed I would have a lender car & would need to leave my car overnight. When I informed Ricky (CS) he laughed then looked over at Micheal (CS) who was also laughing. I had to call the corporate rep & had them talk directly to Ricky who didn't have a clue nor a note in my file. He blamed a coworker who was out of the office for not being informed. He then stated his manger needed to approve the lender car. Well, after 2 hrs waiting for Jerry, when he arrived, informed us it would cost $200 each diagnosis (not the recall) & we did not have a reservation for a lender. Yet a manager for the parts department refunded a man a part he ordered in May including 1/2 of the order fee they usually dont refund. It's is because we were woman we didn't get the same benefits as this male customer? Mind you my mom is 77 (her car) w/health concerns, & his only option for us was to wait for his crew to get back from lunch & they would then start work on the recall which would have had us there from 11:15-6pm. I REFUSED for many reasons: 1. hell no they will never get my business 2. my moms health wouldn't be able to endure this amount of wait time 3. Cadillac should be responsible for their manufacturing errors & not label their POS SRX a luxury car. Buyer nightmare. 10/10 phenomenal service. I'll break it down. I've been looking for a used 2018 Honda Accord at a great, priced to buy deal! However it was months in searching for a deal. This was too good to be true!! It was in good fortune that I found this listing on Saturday night. If I could give no stars I would! The one star will go to Kevin the salesperson. I don't even write Yelp reviews because I don't have that kind of time but I'm so entirely dissatisfied. Not sure where to even start. I have been a loyal Cadillac customer for decades purchasing all of my cars from Mark Christopher. We went to Dutton on April 24, 2021 and purchased a 2021 CT5. My car has been at Dutton more time than it has been in my possession. It was literally towed from my driveway. There were a variety of things wrong with the car when we purchased it. The first time they had my car for over ten days and the second for over a week. The first time I went to pick up the car (after driving a smoked riddled Chevy rental) the damages were still there! I was told that they didn't look at EVERYTHING. I told them I'm bringing this car back to get the repairs done. I have continually stated that the steering column is not straight and pulling. It is still pulling and I'm afraid that it's literally going to snap. Aside from the ripped rubber door panel, cracked dashboard, keyless entry delay, scratch on side panel of door the car's battery died and had to be towed. This is one week of purchasing a 50k car! The second time I brought in the car it was delivered to me looking like it was rolled in mud! I was offered a voucher to drive through a gas station car wash. I pay to get my car hand washed to avoid scratches. I even took pictures of paw prints all over the hood of my car. This must have been from the dealership cat. The windshield was so dirty that I had to use the windshield wipers to spread the dirt. Not to mention I was dressed for a business meeting with clients and had to show up in a filthy car. As of today the car is still pulling. I attempted to call Mr. Dutton himself but was called back by David the GM. Unfortunately, I am still very dissatisfied by this whole experience which means that he was of no assistance. I'm taking this car to Mark Christopher so that they may check the steering wheel before I have an accident. I'm also looking into the Lemon Law. Cadillac is known for luxury and excellent customer service. Not to say that everyone is entitled to a good buying experience when they are spending their hard earned money. I am extraordinarily disappointed that I have made payments on a car that I haven't even had because it's been at the dealership. I'm more disgusted that the car would be returned to me in such poor condition at a luxury dealership. Mr. Dutton made it a point to come out to greet us when we purchased the car and we even mentioned that we would be considering buying a car for our daughter in January. Perhaps he should spend more time looking at how customer service and customer satisfaction is evaluated. Also, making sure his leadership is equipped to handle these types of situations before people resort to public commentary. Dutton GMC Cadillac of Riverside The Dealership: I walked into Dutton GMC, Buick, Cadillac in Riverside, California to look into a new fully loaded GMC 1500 Sierra 4x4 Denali with the 3.0 Duramax Diesel. I tow a 28' speed boat that weighs in fully loaded with fuel and supplies around 8,000 lbs and need a good tow vehicle and daily driver. The General Manager Dave Craine was friendly, helpful and very open and honest. Ashley Bullen was the sales person we worked with to purchase our truck and she was great too! We also talked to Jerry Flores, the Service Mgr. about the new 3.0 diesel and any concerns we had. This is the first time in my life that I felt comfortable, not rushed and know I got a great deal in exactly what I wanted in the car, or in this case, truck buying experience. They even gave me more than bluebook value on my trade in due to comparable vehicle prices in our area being high. Everyone we dealt with went beyond our expectations and changed our view of what buying a new vehicle can be! The Truck: Everything we had hoped for and more! Averaging 30mpg on my daily drive to and from work. Towed approximately 800mile from Lake Havasu to Lake Powell and back like a dream! Averaging 14mpg round trip while towing! Easily pulling the loaded boat up steep slippery launch ramps! The camera system on this truck is awesome and makes hooking the trailer to the tow hitch, towing, backing up the trailer and parking simple and easily a one person job! Overall mpg from 0-8,500 miles: 22mpg Best mileage: From Lake Havasu to Orange County - 309miles: 50mpg Amazing upgrade from my 2015 Ford F-150 with V6 twin turbo Eco-boost which averaged 16mpg over 130,000 miles and 7mpg towing. I bought a $70,000 2019 GMC certified used truck from here. It's been a terrible experience, today is the 4rd time my check engine light goes on causing me to cancel my plans. (Once again) I bought this truck to pull my trailer and to go enjoy Glamis, clearly the truck is unreliable and not safe. I asked the service department on the steps I can take to rectify this, all they worries about was charging me a $280 fee for checking out the Lemon they sold me. They referred me to GM and said to take it up with them. Great customer service!
