    Volcano & taro frappe
    Kay M.

Street parking can be hard to find. Used to come here 15 years ago when they had the chalkboard wall. Looks very different now. Still the place for student to study. We got the elote fries for around $7. The fries were pretty good, but oily. It's a good snack to share. We also got the Volcano drink for around $6.50 and taro frappe for around $5.50. The Volcano was alright. It had jelly to chew on. The taro frappe tasted super artificial. There are games and the karaoke rooms in the back of the restaurant. Good place to hang out.

I think their thai tea is pretty yummy & wow they finished my order in 30 seconds, kid you not! Service was super quick and I like that they serve popcorn chicken, egg waffles, fries and snacks as well. Looks like they recently remodeled their cafe section. Honestly, I preferred the dimly lit setup from before. More vibey, evening hangout spot. Now it is giving daytime study spot, while their pool/games/karaoke side still looks the same. I enjoy karaoking here, they have a tablet which lets you queue any song from Youtube, workers are very accommodating and chill. They also have some DDR, pool table, other arcade games as well. Lots of activities to choose from & super simple to navigate. You can book online or in person which makes it convenient.

We came again for karaoke, the construction was still happening so it got super noisy and a bit difficult to talk to the staff and order. We were told that we can order food and it can be delivered to our room, therefore we each ordered our own and then went to the first room. The room is spacious, definitely enough for 10 people. The playlist is handled via a tablet that connects to the tv screen, which you may need to troubleshoot with the keyboard touchpad a few times due to connection issues. I unfortunately prefer songs that sing along since I would like to have some help remembering the melody of the lyrics. It's pretty hard finding karaoke songs when there's multiple options on YouTube and you don't know if it's just instrumental or not. When the drinks arrived, there wasn't any labels! We had to guess our drinks in the dark and luckily we all ordered very different drinks but I ordered a Thai tea and peach tea both half sweet so it could've been mixed up easily with other similar looking drinks. The Thai tea was good and it was still sweet despite being half sweet. The peach tea was okay, I feel like fruity tea isn't something I order much for a reason. The food came later, I got popcorn chicken non spicy (sour cream and original) which came with one ranch sauce and hot sauce for both. It was really good, crispy, filling as well. Overall, we had a good time as a group and definitely because we had good company. For two hours at full price and the third hour we were told was half price, our group had to pay prior to entering the room. Water was provided for free.

The place is a gem! I love that they are open late so on the way home from adventures this makes the perfect place to grab a sweet treat and continue the night hanging out. They have little trinkets to buy and lots of games to play. It's a great place to enjoy friends company. The drinks are yummy and desserts are great (:

I wouldn't say their drinks or snacks are very good. BUT FTB is open late and a great study/talking spot and they just renovated and it's such a nice vibe (rip to the old dark one tho). They also have games and such so that is something interesting for people to do. DO not come here expecting very good drinks or snacks, stay for the environment and the vibes!

Sour cream and 1/2 BBQ and 1/2 Sourcream Onion Fries

I really wanted to hate these fries since they were like $9 but it was really good! Crispy and got extra powder for extra flavor. I mixed sour cream and onion and bbq which is my usual Potato Corner order before they rebranded. Not an exact dupe but still very delicious with the mixed of saltiness, umami, sour and sweet. It's a pretty big portion of fries too. Factory Tea Bar recently remodeled so it is not as dark inside anymore. Still plenty of tables for studying and hanging out. Still have the arcade in the back as well. Overall solid fries and will keep this in mind as a place to hangout too!

Renovation: FTB has been around for a long time and I've seen my fair share of the changes owner made over time. I got to say when i walked in today I was surprised. Seems like FTB changed their model to Hạt Cafe serving Vietnamese based coffee drinks and pastries in the AM and as FTB the rest of the night. The back of the place still has arcade machines and games plus pool tables. Definitely has the late night vibe. Food: We ordered Medium spice popcorn chicken and Sour Cream & Onion popcorn chicken. Both were great deals!! $8 popcorn chicken in this economy is a miracle! Sour cream chicken is a must try; the flavor is well balanced and not overly cheesy (which i like) As for drinks: I got Jack & Rose (jasmine-oolong mt with Rose foam) with oolong tea jelly (25% sweet is enough) and my bf got the soaring phoenix mt. i love my drink! I will definitely come back for more drinks and food. This is a great place to study as well the new decoration follows a minimalist theme, spacious, lots of tables and there are board games to play and books to borrow if you dont know what to do!

Factory Tea Bar is very different now than when I first visited years ago. In a good way! Firstly, I like that they have a game area now with billiards! Not only do they still have some of their classic drink staples and popcorn chicken but I was really pleased to try hat Café's new concept. I loved how much care they put into their drinks, like a really artisanal Café. I loved the Dubai chocolate latte with pistachio milk, and I enjoyed the double Matcha with peanut foam, it was unique! I tried the pizza danish and thought it was just OK, I would have liked more cheese. The chocolate chip cookie was very good, I like the addition of sea salt. For parking, they have a small lot and street parking.

My cousins and I did a double date. We wanted to do something fun during the day, so we decided to do karaoke. Parking: Good luck finding a spot lol. This spot is located in downtown. You can get lucky with free street parking. After driving around, we parked in a parking lot behind Patisserie. Make sure you read the warning signs. Ambiance/Environment: It doesn't look like much outside, but they have a large space inside! There's plenty of seating for those who want to study and simply hangout. They have all their fun activities and games on the back right side. I will say they do need to update their furniture bc majority of them are ripped, old, and warned out. Service: Jade was the cashier that assisted us. She went over the menu with us bc it was a bit all over the place. She gave us really good recommendations. Throughput didn't take long at all. Our karaoke room was actually ready for us right after ordering, and our food & drinks quickly came afterwards. Drinks, foods, & activities: 1) Karaoke - We went with the Galaxy room. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. The tablet was really easy to navigate through. We were able to find all the songs we wanted. There were 2 mics in the room. We noticed one mic was a bit louder than the other, but both worked. 2) Medium Snack Sampler - This came with choices of 3 meats and 3 fries. We got the gyoza, popcorn chicken, and chicken wings as our meats. We also got the elote fries, Cajun fries, and BBQ fries. Our favorites were the popcorn chicken and BBQ fries! The seasoning and flavors hit! The chicken wings and gyozas tasted as expected; make sure to dip for more flavor! My absolute favorite were the elote fries! The Cajun fries were very light, so we thought it could use a bit more seasoning. 3) Milk Tea Tower - This 88 oz tower was a must! We had the option of choosing one milk or fruit tea. We decided to go with the Nom Nom Green Milk Tea with honey boba and lychee jelly as our toppings. This tasted absolutely delicious! They gave us a generous amount of toppings! 4) Ping Pong - After singing our hearts out, we wanted to play a friendly competition. The choices were between pole or ping pong, and we decided to go with ping pong. We were given 4 paddles and 1 ball. Pricing: Prices were worth it $$. We left satisfied and fulfilled! The food was good and the activities were fun!

No ice = significantly less drink.
    Kelly C.

TLDR: not coming back - overpriced and lack of taste. I should have read the Yelp reviews before coming! I haven't been to factory tea bar in ages but always had fond memories of their delicious yogurt drinks. Needless to say, when I stopped by I was so disappointed in their new layout. The old drinks as I knew them were mostly gone so I opted for the nom nom green milk tea deluxe with 50% sugar and no ice. First of all, the person who took our order looked like he was ready to close up for the night at 8pm. The drinks for some reason charged up as more expensive than on the menu (was not 6.50) and he barely said a word to us, including letting us know that no ice means like 30%~ less drink...so when I got the drink I was surprised to say the least. I was even more surprised when I drank it and it just tasted like very lightly sweetened green milk tea - nevermind the creamy and creme brulee. Overall, will not be back but if you do decide to go, no one was monitoring the ping pong and such on a Sunday night so maybe you don't have to pay.

Great boba spot in the SGV for big groups and cozy vibes. There's a good mix of seating options. The couches accommodate for big parties and communal eating, while the tables grant utility for eating solo, studying, or just a more intimate feel. There's also a high top table with stools for more focused activities. The tea is strong and generally good quality. Drinks that are typically sweet are definitely true to their descriptions so if you don't want to be punched in the face with sugar, get 75-50% sweetness. The price point, though, is pretty decent! It's the standard $6 without toppings or adjustments, but for a large space with a plethora of seating (outside, too!) I'd say it's a good deal. There's also a karaoke room, merchant booth, and claw games in the back so there's definitely enough to keep you there for a few hours.

    Anny O.

Cajun fries 2/5 - these were not good. The fries tasted like the frozen section of the fridge. It was salty but not much of the Cajun taste, just a lot of salt. Popcorn chicken 2/5 - this was very dry. Not that flavorful. Also disappointing. Bubble waffle 2/5 - this was not crispy. Pretty soggy and was plain. We used to like the food here but it's not good anymore. Maybe it was just that day.

    Nance C.

My first time here! We saw a musical at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse and this tea bar is directly across the street! What a great location! This place is pretty much hidden and as much larger than I had expected it to be. The drinks are just so so so this is a four star review. Great ambience. Lots of tables. Arcade games, pool table, karaoke room at reasonable prices

I mentioned I had purchased a Labubu before from a different store for a lesser price, she told me that they're probably fake and they are the only place with the real Labubus. It felt like she was gaslighting me and trying to get me to purchase the Labubus from her. I did end up purchasing two Sonny Angel hippers. I reviewed the receipt after purchase and saw there were 5 different taxes added without my knowledge (Cal state tax, Los Angeles County Tax, San Gabriel City Tax, Los Angeles County District Tax & Los Angeles Co Local Tax). I've seriously never seen so many taxes on one receipt in my life, especially from a toy/collectible store. After much thought, I decided to go back and see if I could return it. The lady said it's non-refundable despite nowhere on the receipt or store stating sales are final. At this point, I didn't want to argue and left and took the L.

I came back on a separate day to offer my patronage and support. Parking is plentiful. Interior has an old school look and feel to it. Quite nostalgic! Very clean and organized, but not super bright. I would love to return to take advantage of their Early Bird Special at $4.75 per game which is a great deal from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on the weekend. League rate is $5.00 per game which is a steal, too (please note league must be hosted by Action Lanes to qualify). Bowling shoes are $5.00 per pair which isn't bad, but I have my own shoes so I don't need them. Please check out their other rates and promos online. You're not cramped in here fighting for space. Game-wise... don't come here expecting anything crazy. There's nothing super serious for hardcore gamers, no rare cabinets or anything you're gonna geek out over. It's more like solid, familiar stuff. That said, it does work really well as a date spot because there's a lot of co-op games, so you're not just standing there awkwardly -- you actually have something to do. Now the food... I still haven't gone deep into it, but the wing deal is actually a good deal for these times, which is rare. That alone makes it worth pulling up on a Tuesday. Menu is kinda big though, and anytime I see a big menu like that I start side-eyeing the kitchen a little bit... like yeah some of this gotta be frozen But overall? It's a good spot for wings and beer without spending Ye Rustic money. If you're trying to keep it chill and not blow your wallet, this is a solid move. Not a gamer spot, not a foodie spot... just a good hang.
