Street parking can be hard to find. Used to come here 15 years ago when they had the chalkboard wall. Looks very different now. Still the place for student to study. We got the elote fries for around $7. The fries were pretty good, but oily. It's a good snack to share. We also got the Volcano drink for around $6.50 and taro frappe for around $5.50. We came again for karaoke, the construction was still happening so it got super noisy and a bit difficult to talk to the staff and order. We were told that we can order food and it can be delivered to our room, therefore we each ordered our own and then went to the first room. The room is spacious, definitely enough for 10 people. The playlist is handled via a tablet that connects to the tv screen, which you may need to troubleshoot with the keyboard touchpad a few times due to connection issues. I unfortunately prefer songs that sing along since I would like to have some help remembering the melody of the lyrics. It's pretty hard finding karaoke songs when there's multiple options on YouTube and you don't know if it's just instrumental or not. When the drinks arrived, there wasn't any labels! We had to guess our drinks in the dark and luckily we all ordered very different drinks but I ordered a Thai tea and peach tea both half sweet so it could've been mixed up easily with other similar looking drinks. The Thai tea was good and it was still sweet despite being half sweet. The peach tea was okay, I feel like fruity tea isn't something I order much for a reason. The food came later, I got popcorn chicken non spicy (sour cream and original) which came with one ranch sauce and hot sauce for both. It was really good, crispy, filling as well. Overall, we had a good time as a group and definitely because we had good company. Drinks are good, but don't expect top top quality, It has improved over the years. Recently, drinks and food quality + taste has not been consistent. The items that my party ordered are our go-to when we come here. The taste wasn't odd but it didn't fit what we ordered and was tolerable. My Go-to is the Passion Fruit Green Tea or the Nomnom tea. As for food, we usually order the elotes, half-flavored fries (sour cream + bbq), popcorn chicken, brick toast, and fried tofu. This place is great for board games, catching up, and doing work (if you're okay with moderate to loud noise). Parking is easy for most days, unless there is an event at the playhouse across the street. There is an additional parking lot if the streets and playhouse are full, but it does fill up relatively quick. If you're into Pokemon, this place has many in a small area, and it makes it easier to get your stops and battle gyms. My cousins and I did a double date. We wanted to do something fun during the day, so we decided to do karaoke. Parking: Good luck finding a spot lol. This spot is located in downtown. You can get lucky with free street parking. After driving around, we parked in a parking lot behind Patisserie. Make sure you read the warning signs. I haven't been to factory tea bar in ages but always had fond memories of their delicious yogurt drinks. Needless to say, when I stopped by I was so disappointed in their new layout. The old drinks as I knew them were mostly gone so I opted for the nom nom green milk tea deluxe with 50% sugar and no ice. First of all, the person who took our order looked like he was ready to close up for the night at 8pm. The drinks for some reason charged up as more expensive than on the menu (was not 6.50) and he barely said a word to us, including letting us know that no ice means like 30%~ less drink...so when I got the drink I was surprised to say the least. I was even more surprised when I drank it and it just tasted like very lightly sweetened green milk tea - nevermind the creamy and creme brulee. Customer service is absolutely terrible. I wanted a drink that contained whole milk and last second I realized I wanted to change the type of milk. The cashier looked at me with an odious expression and told me, "I should've told him that from the beginning." He said that twice to me. This place is one of my go to hangout spots with my friends when we're craving boba late at night! I love his FTB is open late and has a good amount of parking that's easy to find! The drink prices are average and taste pretty good. There are better places out there but for the price and convenience you can't beat it! The food is a little pricy but is fresh and delicious. I also love how there is pool, karaoke, and fun rhythm games to play! FTB has been around for foreverrrrrr and I used to hangout here during highschool / college years because they open so late which is fun. There is 0 to little tea flavor and its just not prominent at all. It really just taste like sugar water milk or sugar water milk syrup. The taro foam on mine was pretty powdery/artificial which I know most are, but this one just tasted too much of it while other places mask it pretty well. Everything else about FTB is fine I just dont think their drinks are good if you're looking for quality boba drinks I wouldnt expect to find that here. I would say it has become more lively throughout the years. They added more claw machines and now an area for pool tables in the back and a couple of karaoke rooms. I would say they have now converted to more of the hang out spot to be at in San Gabriel. The tea is still good. I tried the Sakura green tea and it was light and refreshing. Love, love, LOVE this spot for their karaoke rooms. So much fun, reasonably priced and painless to reserve. My friends and I have been here twice for their karaoke rooms. We've been in the Glam room and the Galaxy room -- both super cool and nicely themed. The sound in both rooms is immaculate. The mics are good quality so you could really hear yourself and your friends belt along to the songs you choose. You choose the songs via a tablet that's connected to YouTube karaoke pages, so you can pretty much find any song you want! My friends and I had no trouble finding songs that were pop, k-pop, reggaeton and even screamo lol. We had a great time. What's super fun about this place is that you can order boba towers when you're singing karaoke! I was in a group of five and the regular-sized boba tower (which was bigger than my hopes and dreams) was more than enough to satisfy us :) they give you the tapioca pearls on the side in a cup, so you can add as much as you'd like to your own drink. 10/10 would recommend you get one.
