We had my mom's birthday party at Rosen and it was an absolute blast. Parking: We went on a Saturday at 7 and valet was $3. They did park the cars for us but when it was time to get the cars they just handed us our keys. I'm not sure if that is standard or that is how they did only for us but it was only $3 and I put the tip in my pocket that I was going to give to the valet at the end. This valet is for the entire back lot not just exclusive to Rosen so I am not holding any of that against them. Package: We had a party of 8 and booked the large room which required us to have the $370 package. It kind of sucked because a lot of our party doesn't drink so we were forced to have to pay for a big bottle of alcohol that not everyone wanted. I wish there was a way to just sub food instead of the alcohol for people who don't drink. They said our large room would've fit up to 12 people but in my opinion, the large room should be for up to about 8 people if you want room to move around. Karaoke Selection: They had a lot of good classics but their collection is definitely LACKLUSTER. The other thing I didn't like was they provided no instructions and everything is in Korean so we had to figure the system out on our own. One of our TVs also had a huge crack in the middle of it and I wasn't really fond of it but definitely didn't make or break the night. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would highly recommend. I would hope by the next visit their catalog will be more updated with more American songs and artists. read more

It's pricey but definitely worth the experience! The music selection is pretty expansive and the system is better than a lot of other places I've tried. I've been there a couple of times with friends. It's a shame you couldn't sing the songs in Russian, but otherwise, everything was great.

Tried for a week to make a reservation by text and call. They were very unresponsive and hard to get in contact with.

Wow what can I say, this place is AMAZING!! We came to celebrate my cousin's birthday and I thought it would be a hole in the wall but noooooo I was pleasantly SURPRISED!! Word to everyone(!): The front door is actually in the back, not on 8th street like my GPS indicated. Drive around back, it looks much better in the back! When I got to the back I found a well-lit parking lot with about 50 spaces and a security guard so parking is no problem! Walking in the place feels like you're walking into FANTASYLAND! After going through an arch you'll be greeted by a very bright, colorful and CLEAN front lobby! The place has a million lights and colors all over everywhere! There are private rooms (20 or 30+?) you can rent by the hour and they're SO nice! There are different sized rooms, some are large, some are midsized, some are more intimate but ALL are gorgeous!! Our room had a large, 10 x 10ft table in the center, three large speakers, two huge monitors and a very cool strobe light, this place is custom made for a PARTY! Everyone sang their voices hoarse and honestly we had the best time EVER!! They offer food and drinks to grease the wheels of your party and, from what i saw, it's a rather complete menu! The food we had was way better than the usual, crappy bar food you might expect and they had a full bar with tons of alcohol! We came on a Sunday night and seemed to have the place to ourselves which made it seem like we rented a mansion and partied the night away! Also, the ladies bathrooms, if you can believe this, have toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash(!l)!!!???!!! Sorry fellas no such luck in the men's room but such a nice touch, WOW! To top it off our host, Joseph, was super accommodating, friendly and helpful but didn't hover. He was super nice an all around great guy! The food was good, the room reservation with the drinks was reasonable, and the music selection was good. The only problem we had was the transparency of the cost. After our initial time that we had booked for, we weren't told 1) how much more time would cost or 2) when the cut off time was so we wouldn't get charged extra. This place is definitely worth it if you set a timer, but naturally you won't do that because you're having fun. It feels as if they took advantage of people having fun and potentially drinking so they wouldn't have to communicate certain things to us. read more

For the dish, we got the fried sample platter and it was a really good snack. The small room has two tv monitors, a remote, 2 karaoke books, and 2 tambourines. My friends and I have been wanting to go to karaoke for some time, so we decided to make a trip out of it and go all the way to Ktown. Having been to a few other places before, we all really liked Rosen Karaoke and had a great time. The song choice was pretty good - there weren't many of the newest songs that you hear on the radio but still an extensive collection of oldies but goodies so everyone could find something that they could sing/scream their hearts out. We appreciated the stickers that were placed on the console that translated the buttons!! (There was a karaoke place we went to before that did not do this and we spent way too much time trying to figure out what was happening.) What we didn't expect was that you get "scored" on your singing performance! It ended up being very funny because one of our friends loves singing and he could never score above a 90. I think it's because he always puts his own sound effects or only sings random parts. You don't get graded on style, only on getting the job done hahah As to be expected, street parking can be frustratingly difficult to find and the lot is primarily used for valet. To be clear, I haven't gone there recently. Last time I went, it was beautiful and I had a great time. That was like 10 years ago, though. This review is about their pricing policy. I called to reserve a room for Saturday night and was shocked to learn that there was a flat fee of $400. Plus tax. Plus service charge. I understand it is a business and perhaps they are possibly trying to keep out the "riff-raff," but at these prices, they are also keeping away sensible professionals who just wanna sing with their friends. I'll let the rich kids and drug dealers have their fun without me. I'd rather go elsewhere or just buy a decent karaoke system and cast YouTube karaoke to my TV. read more

Entrance is located in the back where the parking lot is, but parking(as usual in K-Town) is nearly impossible. Service is standard. They offer multiple room sizes depending on your party size that you have to reserve in advaced. The rooms are very classy, the speakers are nice and loud, the lighting is not too dark nor to bright. Overall, the place was very clean and the service was good in terms of showing us how to use the machine, explaining the menu, and bringing us our ordered items. My friends and I had a great time! Something I thought was dishonest was that the staff never came in to mention our time running out or anything, which seems to be the norm at other karaoke places. Like, "Your time is up, would you like to continue using the room?" Or anything of that sort. I understand that we can keep track of time, but when you're having fun with friends and drinking, obviously things get blurred. We ended up staying until we felt like it and they charged us $400+ at the end, when we initially started with around $280. Of course my party and I were willing to pay because we had a good time and used their facilities, but especially in a business where lots of drinking is involved, to not check in with your guests or give them notice of any kind of time stamp feels like they're taking advantage of people and it just lacks integrity. read more
