Very good Vietnamese restaurant. This place has been remodeled, and it was the old Phu Khang restaurant. I have to say the interior is very nicely decorated and clean. Spring roll was very good and we both got the Bun Bo Hue which was definitely authentic! The hostess/waiter lady was super friendly.

I went for dinner and came back for lunch a few days later, and here are my experiences. The atmosphere is like that of a Karaoke Lounge, with a semi-decent looking stage and a dance floor. There are standard table seating in the middle and U-shaped lounge dining around the perimeter. The vibe is half night club, half restaurant. When I went for dinner, they were setting up the stage for some kind of party. The place was big, but only one other table was occupied with customers--it seems to cater more to a late-night crowd. However, I brought my family with young kids in the early evening. We ordered shaky beef, beef stew, hu tieu nam vang, egg rolls, and spring rolls--all of which tasted very good. I was actually surprised at how good the food was, considering there were so few customers. Some special touches stood out, like how they blanched the bean sprouts and herb condiments for the hu tieu nam vang. Their nuoc cham (dipping sauce) for the egg rolls was excellent--pungent and flavorful, unlike the bland, Americanized versions served elsewhere. The owner/server came by several times to check on us during the meal and was friendly the whole time. I came to learn that the owner/management recently changed (Aug2024) and they are trying to grow the customer base. A few days later, I returned for lunch, and again the place was almost empty. I ordered the Hainan chicken rice and was surprised they had it, as most places don't carry this dish. The few that do usually only serve it on weekends because it's so specialized. I was again impressed by the taste, especially given the random Thursday afternoon and lack of customers. I'm truly impressed by the variety of food this place offers. The flavors are very good, and I would HaiLe recommend it!

If you're looking for a place to drink (byob), have good food, and sing some karaoke, this is your place! This place has a bunch of different foods, but I think they specialize towards the foods that are meant to have with drinks. Not many places can do escargot well, however, this place does! They have tons of options/flavors to chose from, so, if one isn't your cup of tea, definitely try another. I really enjoyed the one that was in a tamarind sauce. The sauce was perfect and I was able to use it in my side order of rice. As for the rest of the menu, I was able to sample almost all of it (as I came with a big group). We had pho, quail, snails, salads, rice dishes, scallops, and more. The quail would have to be on the top of my list for the best dish I had (although everything I had was quite delicious). I will certainly be back!

Snails and authentic Vietnamese dishes! Everything is very good. Their bo ne, bun bo hue, com dac biet and oc are exceptional. Finally...no need to go to California or all the way to Vietnam for snails! Friendly service too! Plenty of parking by Sun Seng supermarket. Big tables for groups or for a couple to feel like royalty.

I wanted to treat my mom to some food today. I asked her to pick a restaurant. We went here. I told her I had wanted to check the place out before but hesitated. When I first walked in, I was amazed by the modern decor. Elegant & boujee, just how i like it Then came one of the owner, who greeted us. Was super friendly & very sweet. She even sat down & talked to us for a bit while we waited for our food. Loved her whole vibe & energy The staff even ran over to the supermarket to buy vegetarian soy sauce for my mom to use w/ her dish bc my mom was eating chai for a bit after my gma's passing. Customer service 10/10. I also dislike restaurants that put too much noodle & lil bit of meat or vice versa. Their food was perfectly balance & taste great. Will come back again for sure!

Excellent service from the time you walk in. Food options and specials were explained and the server checked in to make sure he recommended dishes based on our preferences. We ended up ordering the shaking beef, water spinach and clams with minced meat. All were served promptly and were delicious. Would definitely come back.

The food and atmosphere here are excellent! I have a thing for really good crispy Vietnamese Rolls (you know, not too greasy and fresh). They did not disappoint here. Crispy and delicious without being greasy and served with the lettuce, carrots and a delicious sauce. Also ordered the Bun Rieu Cua Dong, a really good crab noodle soup. Has such a good meal ordering some things to go before I leave. This would be a great space for a special event too; it's beautiful. Happy I discovered this place!!!

We sat at the bar, and the super friendly staff made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. We started with the buffalo chicken flatbread, which had a nice crispy bottom and just enough celery for a satisfying crunch. They also had a special burger on the menu with a salty pretzel bun that was really good and definitely a mouthful. The chicken sandwich was big too, and they didn't skimp on the fries or crispy chips. The drinks were great, and with the happy hour deal, the bill felt very reasonable. nah. Mulligans is…read moreactually fine, but they shoot themselves in the foot in so many ways that I know I won't be going back. And as The Misses stated as we pulled away, "I never knew this place existed, and I'm happy to go back to that." Ouch. First, the good: - The building is spacious, and looked clean. There is plenty of room, and table and bar seating. - The menu is vast, with a lot of options - Service was fine. The bad: - Mulligans is wildly expensive. I think the cheapest thing to eat was a small bowl of fries, which was $7.95 (more on this in The Ugly.) An APPETIZER of chicken fingers was over $13 dollars, and that didn't include fries. I was shocked at some of the prices.... - speaking of those prices, they had Happy Hour AND Lunch specials.....that were almost the exact same price as the regular menu prices. So, a flatbread from the menu was like $12, but the Happy Hour "deal" was a flatbread for $10*....(again, more on this in a second....) How is that a deal? Yardhouse, for example, does HALF PRICE flatbreads during happy hour. - That barely discounted flatbread was also underseasoned, by the way. It looked ok, and had nice sized chicken chunks on it, but The Misses said that everything was underseasoned. (She did give them kudos for fresh fries though...) - There is no kids menu, even though there was a shocking amount of children here. We brought our 7y/o, the table next to us had 2 boys between 5-9, and at least 2 to 3 other groups came in with children just while we were sitting there. But, nothing on the menu for kids. I guess you need to just pony up the $13+ for an appetizer chicken tenders meal. The UGLY: - About those prices....they don't match the menu. I can't stand the price bait and switch, yet Mulligans hit us with it for every item. That bullshit $10 happy hour "deal" is actually $10.40 on the receipt. (BEFORE tax, before one of you wise ass economists chimes in....) My "$11.95 lunch special" was actually $12.43, and the Little Ones small side of fries came in at $8.06. Now, these are just slight little increases, but it's the point that the actual prices arenn't the same as the menu price. All of this is made even worse by the fact that.... - ...anything other than cash incurs a FOUR percent surcharge! So, our meal had an ADDITIONAL $3 tacked on because we paid with a card, like normal people. Who's walking around with cash in 2026? Drug dealers? There is just no reason to travel here to overpay for incorrectly price labeled food that you will then have to pay ANOTHER premium on at the end. The food was FINE, but fine isn't worth the upcharge.

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.
