Fairly diverse and large selection of dishes. Spicier compared to similar places. Naan and other breads were hot and fresh. Seems to be dirty. Water pitcher had some debris at the bottom. Food seems to be prepared in advance and reheated because most dishes were lukewarm. Service is so-so. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated waiter. They also wear casual clothes so you can't tell the difference between customers and employees. Saw one customer have to ask several times and wait 5 minutes before someone gave him a takeout box. Asked one of the employees for a soda and he said he will get it, but he forgot about it. read more

I ordered online a Dum Boryani online. I went after 40 mins and they first told me they did not get any order. When I asked them it was an online order they checked it and started preparing my order then. So I have to keep waiting untill I get my order. Poor Service. read more

Went with some coworkers today for lunch- not sure if I would return again. We all ordered off their "happy hour" lunch menu which listed the chicken biryani for $7.99, we had heard good things about their biryani so we all ordered it. After taking our orders and ten minutes later, the waiter came back to tell us that they only had enough to fulfill two of our orders... so the rest of us had to scramble to find other things to order off the menu. The food was good, well-seasoned and a little on the spicy side. I had asked for separate checks but was told it would be too much to split it all up. By the time we got our food after having to re-order, we were in a rush to leave and it wasn't until we got back to our office did we realize that #1) we were overcharged for the chicken biryani, it was $10.99 versus $7.99 and the #2) the waiter included gratuity in the tip, which is typical for parties over 8 and we were not a party of 8. If I do return, I will make sure to bring cash and really scrutinize the check. read more

Avoid at all costs... Went there for weekend lunch. Every dish is stale. All fried foods so that they can keep serving the same for days...

I would avoid this place, the waiters were coughing on their hands and serving with the same hands in the lobby. They were also picking up dirty glasses by putting their hands in partially drank water and coming right back out without washing hands. The place is very dirty including their bathrooms. No one knows what goes down in kitchen but obviously no way to avoid looking at that happening in the lobby. Besides the point that we never got served for 25 minutes and we had to leave the restaurant!!! Tables that showed up after us got served before us and we were told "oh the carry out order had ordered the same appetizer so we gave them first", let alone when we were waiting for 25 min for even a lassi to show up. At the end I was glad not to get served from those waiters anyways. Health department should visit them soon! read more

We were a group of 5 , went to this place for lunch buffet. The place itself was alright(tables were small you got to squeeze in) and food was just okay. The real issue is with the service. While entering we were handed coupons for each of us for 2$ off lunch buffet. Once we were done eating we forgot about the coupons and paid the check. Soon enough we realized and went back to the waiter asking if he can add them now. He straight away refused saying "NO" we dint present them at the time of billing, that too in a rude way. He very well knows that we have coupons lying down on the table but dint bother to ask at all.Adding to that when looked at the bill there was 15% gratuity already included which they never mentioned anywhere. It wasn't on the menu nor the waiter informed about it which is weird. We have been to many Indian restaurants before and in terms of service and the way they treat customers this is one of the worst! Never going there again,expensive for no reason !! read more

Sadly, all the negative reviews are true. They need to hire more people--more servers and more kitchen help. During my middle of the week dinner visit, the lone server in an 80% full dining room tried very very hard to be responsive, to be quick and to be accurate. But he missed plenty of things and he can hardly be blamed. In the middle of serving the dining room, and serving takeout customers, and sometimes ringing up checks, he also had to unpack a big carton of something. Clearly, management is to be blamed for lack of planning, foresight and training. Our food came out late, my little girl had to wait for her dosa until the rest of us had literally finished our meals, and the one dish we ordered was unbearably spicy in spite of the server's assurance at the time of ordering that it would not be. Management, management, management. Entrepreneurs who have never run restaurants before must hire experienced people in their establishments to manage. read more

I have eaten here many times, though I am usually closer and have had the ability to go in to the restaurant and wait for my food to be ready for take-out (picking up food has never been an issue before). I've even brought others here because it was close and decent Indian food. However, after my brief experience with one of the employees on the phone today, I will NEVER come back. When your website clearly states that ordering ahead for pick-up is an option and then you VERY rudely tell me that I can't order for pickup? That's not OK. Thanks Bawarchi, but no thanks. read more

I come this Bawarchi yesterday and today. I got very bad customer service. On feb 14 I come at 8:30 pm the guy instead of welcoming me tell me that you have to wait for at least 1 hr to 1 an half hour to get the food. Nobody have that much time to wait for a food in USA, this is not India. Because my wife love Indian food I go there yesterday as well at 9:40 pm, the person on front desk tell me our kitchen is close, we cannot serve food any more. I ask him it is written outside that Bawarchi close at 10:00 pm, if you have any problem then I will take food to home. In response to my concern, he tell me we will start closing, we have to go home on time. So funny. It's better to mention outside kitchen closing hour too. I have to come back for 2 days without food, waste of time read more

So I decided to do sit down this time, and I was just as pleased. The service provided to us on father's day was excellent. They offered up free mango lassi for the holiday, and cooked all the food items with precision. The flavor profiles are right on par with how good quality Indian food should taste. The main floor manager knows customer service. I can't say that about another guy they recently hired. He will need a good bit of training on customer service, but in general, we could look past that as the restaurant exceeded our expectation for a cafe. This time we ordered Bhindi, Dal Tharka, Paneer Makhani, Naan, Roti, Onion Pakoras, Rice, and a few other dishes. I did not find any one dish to be sub-par. Keep this cook! I've been curious about hyderabadiby Nature, ever since it opened up a section in Lotte's food court. The menu is pretty extensive, offering items such as choley bhature, just chicken tikka, lamb seekh, rolls, wraps, curries, and even vegetarian options. I tried their Butter Chicken, while the hubs had their Chicken Tikka Masala. The Butter Chicken was more tomato-focused, rather than the thick creaminess that I usually prefer. I did like the Chicken Tikka Masala better, as it had a nice bite to it, and it was great dipping in the garlic/buttered naan that we ordered in addition to. You can also request the spiciness level, from mild to hot; we did medium, and it had a subtle spiciness to it, but not anything you can really notice. When you order a platter, it comes with your choice of naan or rice, so keep that in mind. The rice was a little on the stale end, so I highly suggest in going for the breads. I'd like to try out their Chicken Curry, the Kadai Chicken, and their Biryani the next time. If I could give 0 stars or negative rating I would. In my last 8 years in the US this is hands down the worst restaurant I have been to by far. First when we entered none of the booths were clean, took 10 full minutes to clean it. The order was taken and then started the horrendous journey of wait. 25 minutes go by nobody around to even ask about the order. Finally one guy showed up and got dish 1served cold. 15 minutes later dish #2 comes which was requested with dish 3 but request ignored. Asked the server to heat and get dish 1 he says ok but no action. 20 minutes later still no sign of dish 3 but i get a chance to call the server he lies and says 2 minutes more. Another 10 minutes and I walk upto the kitchen and call him he lies yet again that it's almost ready. Finally gave it last 10 minutes before cancelling the order. The total wait time was over a whopping 1 hour in which we didn't even see dish #3. Far from apologizing, the server had the audacity to argue that I had to still pay for all dishes, I asked for the manager & he said take the cold, soggy, untouched dish 2 as takeout. This is the worst customer service and experience by far and there was no manager around to complain. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I had not put review in Yelp for a long time (2 years) and I resumed it let us say because of the terrible experience I had in this restaurant. Was extremely hungry and wanted to eat Chinese and so ordered fried rice and Manchurian. They brought the Manchurian dish and said the rice is on the way. We waited for 10 min and then asked them to warm up the Manchurian and bring both the dishes together. They took it back and again the wait started. We waited for 15 min and then asked them of it is going to take more time. They said they will bring it and yet again we got only the Manchurian at the table. When we asked about the rice, the guy said they are pouring the rice in the bowl and will bring it in a second. We were surprised to wait again for 10 minutes and the fried rice was still not at the table. We told them to cancel the dish and they started telling sorry and that they will bring the rice soon. We had waited a total of 40 minutes by now and just wanted to leave. We told them that we are leaving and they started forcing us to take the food togo. I could not believe what was just happening. First they never got the fried rice to the table and now they were forcing us to pack it to go. We left the restaurant empty stomach and spoiled my day. There are plenty of Indian restaurants around and would never ever go to this restaurant again. read more
