I'd describe it as a blend of Banana Republic, Express, and Jcrew, with many unique options. I bought a few items on Black Friday weekend, and saved quite a bit. Definitely going to stop in again! The staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Atmosphere was lively, playing good music, while having nice displays and plenty of mirrors. Last, and most importantly, the clothes are great quality, and their fits generally run small. I wear a 42 size jacket, but the slimming cuts forced me to go a size up. Good luck trying to find somebody at the jewelry counter. I do feel for the staff because I'm sure that they have reduced the employee count despite the need. The line went smoothly. If they were, they would approach customers and try to "sell" the merchandise and not wander or hide behind the cash register. I don't know if the staff can tell the difference between the subtle signs of craftsmanship, Milanese button holes, no taping on the seams of an unconstructed men's jacket, and a schlock job. There are not too many high-end retailers around anymore. Wallach's and Barneys come to mind. There is a lot of high-end, well tailored merchandise. But I didn't see a tailor on site if alterations are needed. Long long ago, in the neighborhood far, far away. I worked at John Wanamaker's in the men's suit department; on commission and salary. Of course, sales and discounts will help significantly, and there is a decent amount to choose from the racks. During the weekday, it can be a challenge to find assistance compared to the weekends, typical in the retail world of course. The same holds Tru for all of the gardening supplies, and I was really saddened to see that they are still selling like very dangerous pesticides that most countries ban. It's kind of an eye-opener. If I hire a contractor to work on my property and I asked them where they shop, I would be hesitant if they came in with products purchased at tractor supply because there's no way they're getting Organic products there.
