Two entrances to Kohl's make it easy to avoid getting packed, which shows how well-thought planning can be done. It's fairly easy to locate where each department is, with a general rundown of the women's department being on the right (south) side and men's on the left (north) side. The houseware is located completely on the opposite side of the entrances. I find this location to carry a lot of variety, and to me, the men's department is fairly big with a decent selection. Honestly, it's not common of coming across this. Most of the items include a lot of buttoned-up shirts, along with coats to pick from. The active section had a great number as well. I was impressed to see how organized it was, and it shows. The other departments were kept up as well, which indeed comes with hard work. The main floors were clean, as I wish more retail stores can keep up like this. I could see some improvements with customer service on the sales floor though. A better experience goes a long way. read more

This has always been one of my Kohls locations of choice. The store is always very clean and well organized. The staff is always friendly (even during the busy holiday season) and I prefer to go here than other locations. They are all not created equally. Most recently, I've been particularly pleased. I've been doing most of my Christmas shopping online. It's been convenient and safe, especially during this pandemic. I usually place an order online and opt for store pick up since I'm not always planning on spending the minimum for free shipping (and I hate paying for shipping tbh). The store pickup option has been great. My orders have been ready very quickly. They're either ready the day of or the day after. There are no issues with picking up, even if I have another person picking up for me (as there's an option to list an alternate pick up person). Everything has been really convenient and I've been pleased with this service. I hope everything continues to go well as the holiday bustle increases over the next couple weeks. read more

The store appearance is beautiful . So clean and bright. However, the prices are so high! I literally found myself laughing quietly to myself that someone thought that these prices were a fair market value! Wow!!! And not a good, wow!!! read more

As far as Kohl's stores go, this one is ok. It has a good men's clothing section. Shoes and sneakers are hit-or-miss for me here. I've had better luck at the Kohl's in Kingston for those. Same for housewares, good average selection but I've seen more in this department at other Kohl's too. One thing I've never seen here is a line at checkout. They do a good job at keeping enough cashiers on the registers. read more

I frequent Kohl's DS a lot, since my hubby is an employee of a regional one. I have been going to this particular location for a very long time, and even had a very short stint of working overnights for the holiday season back when I was still in college. I say very short because it didn't take long for me to realize that I like sleeping, not working, at night. Anyway, I tend to think I have a unique perspective of what regional Kohl's stores offer since my hubs has worked at many in the area. This store has a great clearance section for all types of clothing, and has a great maternity section compared to the other stores. Although they are sadly downsizing their maternity section, I was able to find a maternity pea coat in December that no other regional Kohl's had. They have a respectable amount of baby clothes here, and I like the way it's organized better than the Newburgh store which is a hot mess. Their Hallmark section is nearly identical to all other regional areas, as is their frame and housewares section. Their shoe section is so-so, as I happen to think Newburgh has a better selection and set-up. Their intimates section is alright as well, as is their women's clothing and handbags section. One thing this Kohl's has that others don't is the makeup section, with name brand hair care items like Frederick Fekkai. My husband informed me that Wappingers is a test store, so that's a cool tidbit of info to know. Their dressing rooms are really cool in the juniors section - pretty classy and almost doesn't look like a Kohl's. All in all, it's a great Kohl's location. Not worth a special visit persay if you have a Kohl's closer to your house, but it's definitely a great location in and of itself! read more

Customer service is terrible, returns staff was rude and not helpful when attempting to make a adjustment to online purchase with a coupon. Manager then came and was no different. Staff need to be trained on customer service and should not be lazy when the job is more difficult. Seems like all they want to do is scan things with their machine and not want to input data, if it is needed. read more

Outside, there is a large parking lot. Once inside, you'll find that this is a sizable store, one that offers a large selection of clothing and home goods. On occasion, however, I've found that what I was looking for wasn't there. I recommend looking for coupons prior to shopping here, as they can sometimes be a little pricey - even with their sales. When you do find what you want/need, your wait on line shouldn't be long, if there is a wait at all. read more

usually I love kohl's, they have great brands and decent sale prices. I came here the other day looking for shoes for a wedding. I had found a pair I loved but they only had one size left on the rack. I tried to find someone working in the shoe department to help me but found no one. I went to the registers to see if they could help and the lady simply told me I had to go back to the department and press a button for help. she didn't tell me where this so-called button was or how I could find it. after about 20 minutes finally someone showed up (never found the "button" though) and I asked if they had the shoe in my size. she didn't even look at the shoe in my hand and said "no. look online" are you kidding!? the customer service in this store is horrible, and I don't think I will ever return. read more

When I realized I didn't not pack my socks and sneakers for my vacation, I headed over to Kohl's to purchase some. The biggest difference between this store and the one back home is that this one stocks more slippers and gloves than I've seen anywhere. I bought some fingerless gloves, too. I entered the store to return an item and employees made me feel like I wasn't welcomed or even a person. I didn't receive one welcome, smile, or anything. In fact, when I went up and spoke they ignored me until I raised my voice. I'm not sure if it had to do with me not being Caucasian, but I used to shop here often and I don't think I will be back if this is how I will get treated. read more

I would stay away from buying any of their kitchen appliances like microwaves simply because the amount of money they charge for a microwave is ridiculous then not to have it warm up food properly to eat. Today my mom and I purchased a rather expensive item which we were looking to price match. When we asked the associate he appeared to be very lazy, and unwilling to help us. He continued to make very rude comments to my mother, and laughing at her for being upset. His name is Tom Korzekwinski, and cannot believe this store would employ someone like this, as my mother and I have been shopping with khols for years. After this experience, we will DEFINITELY not be returning (especially since the target right down the road has better deals and associates) I would recommend everyone else choosing target over this store as well. read more

Not my first choice Kohl's location, but it is the most convenient as it is close to work. The store does usually seem to be a bit of a mess, not always too organized. As with any other store, it can be hit or miss finding something you like. Sometimes I can go in and find lots of things I like and end up buying. There are other times when I walk out empty-handed. One great thing about Kohls is all the constant sales, the discounts, and earning Kohl's cash to apply to future purposes. I will say that I resisted signing up for a Kohl's credit card for a long time, but I finally did. You do receive even more great offers as a card member. I consistently go in and save 30% on already-sale prices. Since things are always on sale though, it makes you wonder, why can't they just lower the prices all the time? Yes, it looks great to see that you saved $66.28 on your receipt, but why not just lower those prices all the time? read more

Horrible customer service. Lines are always too crowded. Nobody seems to know what they're doing. By far the messiest clothing store I've ever seen. Over priced clothing and not always the best quality. They're always trying to get you to buy they're credit card and keep pushing if you say no. Not to mention the credit card info on the app is never right! Today I waited on the line at customer service forever. I finally get up and the young girl at the register let's people cut me. She did not tell them sorry this person was here first or anything of the sort and rung them up anyway. On top of it she gave me the biggest attitude! I do not plan on shopping here again. I was already dissatisfied, but after the rude employee I got today at customer service I won't be returning to this store. read more

This is definitely the worst kohl's I ever shopped at. The security guard was very rude to me when I asked him where a specific department was. He told me "to ask another employee". I felt very disrespected. This has ruined the chances of me going to any Kohl's ever again. It seems like a minor problem but there should be something done about the poor customer service in this store. The security guard was short and round, and seemed like he had insecurity problems. I will never set foot in this particular store ever again, and I will tell my friends to do the same. This is a fixable problem so I hope the manager takes this comment in consideration. read more

I have been coming to this store for many years! I love it! I actually shop here once a week. I love the name brand carter's for the kids. Which they carry a lot of. Also other name brands... Nike, Adidas, Oshkosh ext. I get mostly kid stuff ... clothes, sneakers, shoes, and sometimes shop in the home goods section. I have purchase yoga pants and leggings which are ok for myself. It is a hit or miss for me with there clothes. I'm Not a huge fan. The coupons are such a treat!I receive 10 dollars and 20 dollar coupons almost every time I go! Also you get more coupons sent to you in your email! I just got one for 20 bucks! You can use it for anything!! Not like other places and there restrictions on coupons! The return police is also wonderful ... I never had a problem returning something. It is true ... no hassle returns at kohls! I would not recommend buying toys from here! Way way over priced! Even if they say it is on sale .. trust me it's a rip off. Toys r us has the same thing for cheaper! Also checking out the cashier ask you more then once if you want their credit card and you reply no and they keep talking about how great it would be.. very annoying! I know they get commission but please ease up! How about you remind me to give you my number so I get my members points! Which by the way the hole time I have been coming here I have had one lady ask me!! She said they are suppose to ask every time! They never ask you and I think they should make it a priority!! Other stores always ask you before they start to check you out! I did have a issue with a sales lady in the shoe department. My toddler knocked down a few boxes has I was going through the Aisle. He was in his stroller .. and as I pick up the boxes I hear a very miserable looking sales lady talking about me! Very loudly about the mess! Instead of asking me if I need help picking them up!! Anyway I confront her and told her I'm a customer. She walked away and said nothing. Wish I got her name though. Short... Heavy set lady with frizzy hair is what I remember ... maybe in her late 40s. I have also had very helpful.. kind people ask me if I need help when I'am in the shoes area. Which is very nice to hear .. one lady I do remember her name was Diane. Extremely helpful in ordering my son's sneakers. Also I do wish they had more room for the toddlers clothes cause they do look very unorganized. Sometimes it takes me a while to find what I'm looking for ... like the clothes are hidden because other clothes have over lapped them. I found a hole rack of size 3 toddlers in the boy section. Which we know does not belong there. I would give it 5 stars had it not been for that. read more
